First time using this company, from Olbia airport a bit strange to find the office but we we're helped through the phone, pick up was easy and fast, car was ok, cleaned, helped us with a light so we can record any existing damages on the car , for the drop off it was busy lots of people in the queue to pick up, but we went inside and explained we need to drop off and they helped us first, 5 minute check for the car and was easy and fast, will use again thanks

Verry good service

Really good experience with the service and the rented car itself. Checkin took a little while because we needed a babyseat which had to be collected from another place. Besides that, all procedures went quick. For the return as well. The service person was friendly and return procedure again was quick and uncomplicated. I can recommend this company. We drove a fiat 500x. For two people and one child under three years and laugage it was sufficient.

They do what they say... No extra charges for insurance nothing extra. They even added my son for free. Really happy.

There were no lines, car collection was simple. A person went and inspected the car together with me. Gave good advice. Best car rental experience so far!

The cars are not insured outside of Sardinia (Italy). Keep this in mind if you are planning a trip to Corsica.

Perfetto, Everything was ok!

All good, easy and uncomplicated. Just make sure to make a detailed video of wheels bumpers windows and so on, as they asked us to prove that we didn't cause a very tiny undocumented scratch on the bumper. Luckily it could be seen on our video.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Viaggiare, the car rental provider at Olbia Airport, Sardinia, on August 16th. I believe it's crucial for prospective customers to be aware of the events that unfolded during my visit to their agency.
My family and I (two adults and one child) had made a reservation with Viaggare through Discover Cars for a vehicle pickup upon our arrival. Our flight was scheduled to land at 18:00, although it experienced a slight delay. The flight number was included in our reservation, indicating our expected arrival time. However, to our surprise, the reservation was automatically set for car pickup at 10:00 in the morning, which did not align with our flight's arrival at 18:00. I don't recall personally selecting this pickup time, and it may have been an automated setting (our drop-off time was set for 10:00 two weeks later). I discovered this discrepancy on the morning of our arrival while reviewing the paperwork. At that time, I didn't give it much attention, assuming that our flight details had been communicated to Viaggare. I take full responsibility for this oversight. On that morning, I scanned the reservation voucher to ensure all details were correct and also to update the credit card used for payment. Regrettably, I did not notice any prominent warning regarding a "no-show" or any indication that changing the pickup time was obligatory. The voucher consisted of four pages and was accompanied by an 11-page terms and conditions document. I believed that the reservation itself would suffice for them to hold the car until our arrival. However, upon reaching their agency, we encountered a different scenario.
Upon entering their office, which had a basic warehouse-style setup, we were met by the individual in charge, around 7:00 PM on August 16th (I believe his name was Giacomo or a similar name). Regrettably, his attitude was unhelpful, and he promptly informed us that our reservation had been canceled due to a no-show. I overheard him speaking in Italian on the phone with someone else about our arrival and inquiring about how much to charge us for providing another car. I am proficient in Italian, and he was unaware of this, so I understood his actions. It appeared that he was taking advantage of our situation, potentially leaving us stranded in Olbia without a car, and was canceling our initial agreement only to offer a new one at triple the price. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this situation and requested that he honor the original reservation. Unfortunately, his response was aggressive, placing blame on us and insisting that we accept his offer if we wanted a car. I found this to be unacceptable and requested that he find a more reasonable solution. However, he remained rude and pointed out that I should have read the terms and conditions, which, apparently, contained a clause stating that reservations would be canceled after one hour past the pickup time. I must acknowledge that I had never noticed this clause in the voucher, as very few people read the terms and conditions in such detail.
The situation quickly became complex, as we found ourselves 150 kilometers from our hotel with no alternative transportation arrangements. The individual at the desk was uncooperative, rude, and aggressive. He began shouting at me (in front of my wife and daughter), and eventually ordered me to leave the office. Despite my insistence that I wouldn't leave without a solution, the situation escalated further. He continued shouting at me and using insults in Italian. In response, I requested that he take his shouting elsewhere, leading to a heated exchange of words. At one point, he approached me, challenging me to a physical altercation. I asked him to step aside, as I wanted to avoid any conflict, but he refused and continued to insult me, standing just 20 centimeters from my face. My wife intervened and shouted at him to stop, which prompted him to move aside so that we could leave. Nevertheless, he confronted me again and even went so far as to threaten me, mimicking a gun with his hand against my head and claiming he had a firearm in the office.
Although I had the option to contact the police and file a complaint at the time, it was late, and we needed to arrange urgent transportation to our hotel. Involving the police would have added at least an additional five hours of stress to an already difficult situation, and we had our young daughter with us, who was tired, hungry, and in need of rest. Our primary focus was to leave the airport as quickly as possible.
I sincerely hope that Viaggiare takes all necessary measures to address this matter appropriately and ensure that such unfortunate incidents do not occur in the future.

Hello, nous avons rendu la voiture sans aucun dommage avec vidéo avant et après et pourtant, Viaggiare Rent nous a prélevé 376.98€ en plus sans aucun avertissement ni de facture !
Après plusieurs mails, nous avons été remboursés ! Faites bien des photos et vidéos au check-in et check-out en demandant à l'employé de donner la date et l'heure en Italien sur la video si besoin. Suite à ce dénouement, j'ai pris le temps de mettre à jour mon commentaire : soyez patient et insistez si vous rencontrez la même mésaventure que moi. Merci à Daniella et son équipe de nous avoir écouté.
Hello, we returned the car without any damage but Viaggiare Rent took 376.98€ more without inform us ! After several emails, they gave us our money. Take photos and video before and after asking the employee to say the date and time in Italian if needed. After that, I took time to update my previous comment : be patient and insist if you encounter the same thing as me. Thank you Daniella and her team for help.

We had to wait very long at 40° because the second secretary had urgent things to do. In the meantime there are around 20 people outside the container with no air-conditioning,but they working people have no stress. They did not accept another credit card, what they do everywhere.

Collection was dealt with promptly and was completely hassle free, the vehicle was perfect and well priced. Return was also very efficient and hassle free. Would not hesitate to rent a vehicle again.

Perfect vehicle for the narrow streets in Cuglieri.

Costi eccessivi aggiunti. Unreasonable extra costs added on relating to using my partner’s credit card for deposit. No Amex. No debit cards. It does say so on website, but the extra costs charged were over £120. Don’t ignore the bad reviews.
