Bought treated pine planter boxes which arrived with normal wood screws. The panels are held together with stapled slats on inside. The staples would have rusted through in no time. I spent 25 euro in inox screws and vidaxl refunded 25 euro ( about 25% of purchase). Good result in the end.

Beware when dealing with this company, I had an awful experience with vidaXL, so make sure the same does not happen to you. They do not respect tax treaties and keep your VAT money illegally. Will never buy from them again.

I have purchased over in Lithuania a double bed, two bedside cabinets, a room screen. All these pieces were horrible quality. Especially the bed frame. Parts were damaged, not matching each other. Asked them for help by online chat, email. Got nothing but persuading that they will. I am going to make a big bonfire and burn the magic bed frame. By the way, VIDAXL has taken all the pictures of this magic bedframe from my emails, website on my phone. I am feeling robbed by fraudsters...

I was prepared to try to like this company even though it is down-market IKEA but when my sofa arrived with many pieces and no instructions manual I started to have major doubts. The process of getting the instructions manual through the order page did not work. Supposedly, I have to hang around for 24 hours waiting for them to send it to me via email cause either wise some bad actor might steal their design. News flash, your customer needs to be able to put your product together and hopefully with out the extra aggravation of tracking down assembly instruction. Edit: I finally got the instructions. But guess what is needed as a tool: a drill! What kind of drill! What drill bit? No, just a cartoon. Of a drill. Having just moved a drill is not part of my tool box yet. It is an unusual item for a flat back self assembly.

Their business model appears to be selling low quality products and hoping you don't return them.
I bought a solid wood bed, which arrived in a very shoddy state. It took a lot of sanding before wood splinters no longer came off. The edges weren't v-bitted so they're not gonna last (and keep splintering away). Assembly was difficult, and the end result isn't very good: many sections of the frame don't line up. All pieces of wood are too thin and bend easily.
When I asked them to return the product: you either pay for the return, or they give you a small amount of money back. I ended up taking the low, partial refund because disassembly and return was too much trouble.
Customer support isn't in your native language, rather translated automatically. Also: very slow.
Won't buy from them again.

Bought 3 mirrors led's from your company. The round one (small size 50mm) although quality was acceptable they are not good yet I managed to hang it, but the remaining two (led with a cabinet) not only doesn't look like the photo of the product as well the quality is very poor and shocking, to the extend that I only assembled one and the other one is still closed in the box. The mirrors are defective with black marks, and not acrylic as they mentioned on the advert. The sides can not be put symmetrical correct to the unit to the point of me tring to create an angle with two L shape brackets, the doors of the cabinet as much as you try they cannot be level and it looks ugly and cheap, the gloss wood it chips as you tightening them, the little round sticky white labels to hide the holders inside two of the four sheets were missing, so I cannot even cover all the nuts. Would like to return both (one assembled already and the other still sealed. Will wait for their decision and instructions. My advise to everyone who like me wants to get these mirrors is to not buy from this company as they are using very cheap quality from china...

The bed is well made, painted evenly, everything was in place. The package wasn't obvious, as it's made up of two completely identical boxes, but I contacted VidaXL support and they told me it's all fine, and indeed, I managed to complete the bed.
I've used it for around a month and had no issues with it so far.

First and last time I use vidaxl.I ordered a sun sail fabric 2 weeks ago and it has still not arrived.I receive mails from vidaxl asking if I need help,after replying giving my address,I just get another mail asking if I need help.This has now happened 3 times.Very frustrating situation.I have tried ringing and sending mails to their transport company and get no reply.I receive many products from other companies without a problem.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are criminals. They took my money for a bedframe, that, nearly a month later, never arrived. Despite multiple emails back and forth with a million different customer service representatives, they still could not even provide me tracking information for the item, or a date of delivery. I've been asking for a refund for over a week, and they still have not refunded my money. For anyone else looking to submit a formal complaint against vidaXL, you can do so via the European Commission website. I'm hoping that this review will escalate my issue to get me my refund immediately, however if I don't have that refund processed within the next few days, you bet I'll be making a formal complaint against this criminal business! Save yourself all the hassle and just shop at Ikea.

Honestly the worst piece of cheap furniture I’ve ever bought in my entire adult life
Thousands of pieces and missing fixtures to put it together… a total maze and barely drilled out holes with the coating chipping away with every screw being put into the headboard we bought
The cheapest stickers to cover fitting which have fallen off day two leaving silver screw grips visible
Was recommended as a friend said their products were good but only bought beds we bought furniture for the first purchase and really disgusted how you receive brand new items from these
When contacting Web chat I got a copy and paste response saying parts are out of stock
Accept 19euros part refund for a product of 122 euros which is less than 10% for a new product which is honesty crappy quality or a voucher for 30 euros or return and refund or return and replace
No cafe given and clearly this is a regular occurrence as I barely hit enter in my message wit. Photos and got a copy and past solution message instantly
Not a fan at all vidaxl and I won’t be shopping with you again il afraid
Avoid cheap melomine chipboard furniture people and spend a little more on something quality becuase these products are cheaply milled low quality pieces of chip board that aren’t even milled properly or even include all the parts to put it together
UPDATE
offered a 35 euro partial refund which covered my fuel, and cost for finding replacements parts from a local diy store however this wasn’t what I had in mind when buying completely new furniture

Unbelievably frustrating article. A single bed that comes in a thousand pieces made with wood fit for architecture models! These people are crazy.BAD product! the holes are not the right size, unable to make anything fit! I have many experiences assembling furniture before, but this is UNBELIEVABLE!
You should advise costumers this furniture is for puzzle freaks only! Hate it! Very UNHAPPY!

Stop sticking stickers onto furniture that you cannot peel off. It really is such a ridiculous thing to do. It takes a long time to unpeel them, and then clean the finish d product. Have a bit more common sense as to where you place the stickers on your furniture.

I bought from them the worst cages I have ever received in my life!! They didn't write that the product is disassembled and it's no easy to assemble everything like ikea! that it is not possible to build it well. The quality is very very poor and very dangerous!! Not suitable for a small dog and I paid 200€ for each cage that even chickens can escape!! Very smart that you can't write a review on the product

After a couple of days of pure frustration, my complaint was transfered to a competent person who resolved my problem within a few days and I got a full refund. I am still disappointed that the initial responses from several "customer care" people were so ignorant regarding their product knowledge.
However, once the right person came on-board, the process became smoother and I am grateful for that.

Placed an order and then found they had setup to the wrong address despite having provided the correct address on their website and via PayPal.
Contacted customer service, who advised me it was my problem.
Sent two images showing that I provided the correct address on both theirs and PayPal's system.
Then customer service stopped responding.
Have requested a refund and not heard anything back.
Defo best avoided.
