We are sorry that you were disappointed with the result in that you had to follow up with your own GP to obtain a prescription for your requested medication. In some cases, a physical examination is required for certain medications. In these instances, to ensure that your best care remains the No.1 Priority, our doctors will refer you to your regular GP. We do appreciate this can be a little frustrating, but we only do this to ensure that your best medical needs are looked after appropriately.

Ideal for minor illness. Very impressed.
Efficient. No hassle at all. Saved me a trip to the doctor when I was exhausted from a flu and chest infection. I had some trouble with my health insurance number when signing up and am not sure what the issue was or how to resolve it but I was seen to almost immediately, the doctor was very helpful, and my receipt etc sent through almost immediately. I got a call from my nominated pharmacy 45 minutes later to say my prescription was ready. I wasn't sure where to find my sick cert so I emailed the info@, and got a response within the hour (and on a Sunday too). Couldn't ask for more when I'm sick!

Fantastic efficient and thorough…speedy doctor appointment
Fantastic efficient and thorough experience. I knew what I needed and after questioning by the doctor she agreed and my prescription emailed to my chemist for collection 30 mins later. I would probably have had to wait til Wednesday at earliest for appointment with my own doctor- now I will be better by then. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I didn't feel any difference compared…
I didn't feel any difference compared to a doctor in his own surgery. He was very humain and professional. It was an amazing experience and an easy way to avoid lengthy Waite.

Super addition to VHI’s list of services
Fast, convenient and so easy to use once you have the VHI app downloaded. I would highly recommend the service and it is great to know it is there anytime I need it.

Doctor was brilliant
Doctor was brilliant, polite and sensitive, made me feel completely at ease. Brilliant experience, prescription sent to my pharmacy and was picked up within half an hour!
