The product works great for basic video editing and converting between formats. Customer service is very responsive via email, and easy to work with.

I purchased the program, but I wasn't able to register it or get it to recognise files. Shirley and the support team were brilliant, patiently talking me through all sorts of possible solutions. Eventually, it transpired that the program wasn't able to connect properly to the internet because some of my system files had been corrupted. Problem now solved.

Good software, fair price - truly terrible company. -

Videoproc does all I need and so i BOUGHT it - you know PAID for it. So I have a full licence OK, I hope you understand what this means, because Videoproc doesn't will constantly offer you the chance to buy it - again presumably or update to multiple user copies - ( i only have one set of of hands).

So you own it - everything should be ok right. Sadly NO. Every month or so when I open videoproc I get a banner page offering the opportunity to buy it AGAIN on some offer or other - this repeats every time I open it until the offer closes. It is obtrusive disruptive and frankly offensive. Then it starts all over again a month or so later.

OH there is a tickbox saying 'Do not show this again' - doesn't work - why should it they've had my money already - so who cares. SO you contact digiarty - you get a message saying something like 'we'll pass that on to someone who cares about customers' - sadly they appear to have left and joined another company. Then a month or so later when a new daily bombardment happens you write again - and the same response ! - they don't know there is nobody there. AND THEN AGAIN - this company must be the worst for customer 'service'.

SO in summary good software but excessive marketing (for a product you already paid for!!!!) makes it a no-go. Oh I have a lifetime licence - so I expect this will continue till I die - what did I do?

There are other packages out there - they won't constantly force you to respond to banner pages that block access to what you OWN.

You decide - get on using what you paid for OR constantly have to click to close 'offers'.

DO NOT - REPEAT - DO NOT BUY THIS YOU ARE PAYING THEM FOR A LICENCE TO HACK YOUR COMPUTER AT WILL TO LAUNCH ACTIVITY YOU DON'T WANT - TRULY DREADFUL COMPANY

In their own words - it is not a banner apparently - it just covers the application at launch so you have to click to remove it - every time you launch it for a week or so and the starts all over in a month or so

and they dont apologise for it !!! - they admit it is how they market their software to those who already own it - incredible.

As of today they have offered to refund the purchase price - this is NOT what I wanted - I just wanted to use MY software - that I OWN - without being bombarded with on-screen spam that cannot be stopped.

I had a very simple ask, lost activation code after a reboot to computer. The team were quick in their response, which enable me not to miss any deadlines. Thanks guys great CS.

Well, I've got more than one converters, but I keep coming back to VideoProc. Ik just works as advertised and is easy to use. I have asked and my Lifetime license covers all future upgrades and updates. So I'm done searching and staying with this converter, thank you very much.

Gives exactly what is promised. Perfect tool for downloading, merging and transforming videos.

Good APP, video converts nicely, can reduce the size from 1gb to 30mb for some videos.

I plan to download to edit a video cause it was recommended from someone on youtube, there's virus in the app that you download and it prevented me from shutting down, uninstalling it or stopped it. It asked to scan my hardware and cannot delete that window and it blocked me from all other window and the only thing left to do is letting it scan my hardware but I am not a fool to let that virus in so I unplug my computer. Such a shaky business, a scam.

Activation after reinstalling on the same machine after downgrading from Windows 11 to Windows 10 does not work. Support just replied to me: "buy another licence". What?

My advice: don't buy anything from that company.

As with so many software programs there are many options and many settings and it's not easy to know which setting to choose. Fortunately, tech support was response and helped me to check the right boxes and click the right buttons.

The VideoProc Converter is simply the BEST program of it's kind.....DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON ANYTHING ELSE.....I DID IT FOR YOU....LOL. Tech support (if you need it) is fantastic.....FAST and they DO get back to you. This program does it all and VERY quickly. Also. it is my suggestion to buy a lifetime license so you don't miss out on any updates....that only make it better!!. This program does everything you wish all the others would do.... better, faster and easier.

The program sadly didn't work for me but it was not a problem with the software. After a few emails, they agreed to a full refund. Thank you videoproc for honouring your refund offer.

Ethical companies offering guarantees will usually offer them at "no (or very little) quibble" in the interests of offering great customer service. However this is not the case with Digiarty Software. For them the 30 day guarantee conditions are hidden behind the FAQ and it gives them full latitude to wriggle out of it, such that the guarantee is effectively worthless.

The 'buy now' page does not highlight or link to any of their highly 'caveated' policy.

Background
I needed some video download software (for legitimate reasons) and after researching on the internet I found a review site that rated the Top 10 video downloaders for Windows10. VideoProc (from Digiarty) was rated as number one and in the blurb it highlighted that there is a 30-day guarantee. Having read all the reviews in the article I clicked through the (affiliate) link to Videoproc and selected the Premium 365 version for 3PCs, a 1yr licence at £32.90. I chose to go straight to the paid version becase 1) trial versions do not (generally) provide the full features that you need e.g. speed etc) 2) The 30-day money-back guarantee was highlighted without any caveat, so this seemed risk free, 3) the review site Comparitech praised the software highly, including the guarantee. No guarantee caveats were mentioned anywhere.

So far so good, I downloaded and set up the software and set out to use it and it was unable to analyse (i.e. could not find) the embedded video file in the URL. Having followed their troubleshootng advice in the suport pages and getting nowhere I gave up and turned to the software of another provider which worked perfectly. So I uninstalled the software and contacted their support to get a refund. It's all uphill from here folks....

This is where their fine print is put to you...

How long it will take to receive the refund?

For goodness sake!! None of this was indicated in anyway on the Buy page for the product. No asterisk* or link to refund policy/ terms or conditions, nada.

To cut a long story short - the exchange that I had with "Support", after they gave me the run around, wasting my time and asking me to try this and try that (note, I had already solved the issue with another company's solution) finshied up with this:-

So, if you can make sense of this nonsense they are basically telling me to "get stuffed" and they have trousered my £32.90 for nothing. My suspicion is that they are not complying with UK consumer law but life is too short to research that.

The moral of this story is that Digiarty Software is an unethical company to do business with. Wouldn't you want any company to refund you if the software didn't work for you/ your application? After all what do you lose - you just give the refund and cancel the licence. You don't just sneer at the customer and say tough, you didn't read the small print!

Paid for VideoProc converter program, had not received code or download link. Have sent 2 email reminders, no response, looks like I've lost my money. Tey are happy to take your money, but no provide product. Very dissappointed.
