This is a 100% scam

This is a 100% scam.
1. I was selling a car. The buyers asked for Vin Analyzr report, and once I paid and got the report, the buyers pulled out, making an excuse. The same thing happened with 3 buyers. All of them contacted me on WhatsApp and used similar language. These buyers are the agents of this company and sell the product using this scam.
2. I bought a report for $63, but they charged me $110.09

Scam

Just had the same thing happen today as the other reviewers. Even gave a name as Patrick to look legit. Provided the link to vin analyzer. I didn’t click it and looked it up and came to trust pilot and found the reviews from other consumers. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. It saved me a big headache.

I believe it is a scam

I believe it is a scam. I was selling a fifth wheel . A caller texted me asking if I still had it for sale. Wanted a VIN check from vinanalyzer. I gave him a carfax he said vinanalyzer is better and easier to understand. He made an appointment time to look at the camper but he never showed up. He was using a Google number to text from. When I got the vinanalyzer report it was a different camper, I cant get in touch with them as their site is blocked due to suspicious malware, they don't answer emails.
It is some kind of scam but I havent figured it out yet. I had another request from a Google number for the fifth wheel. They were quite insistent that I use vinanalyzer to have a "check " done. The person set a time to look at it and never showed up. They had the same story, they were at the hospital with a sick Aunt and would come the next day, When asked where they were coming from it was the same town as the first person, which so happens to be a tiny little town with a population of only 61 people.

100% a scam

100% a scam. Buyer asked questions about the vehicle and said we set a time for him to see the car at 5:00 tomorrow. He then said he didn’t trust Carfax and to use Vinanalyzr. I ordered the report ($42.95 charged to Meta Swift, LTD) and the report sent was CARFAX!!! Truly wish I’d done some research before wasting so much time with this. Didn’t even consider it to be a scam until I received another message with the same exact messages and another different shell company carvinsolution.com

Scam

Scam. They write on the marketplace that they want to buy a car but they want to buy a report first. And for the owner of the vehicle to do it

I had my car listed on Facebook Market…

I had my car listed on Facebook Market Place. He was in a rush for me to get the report done on this site. First said he wanted to look at the car before making a decision. Then he said he would get the cash ready to purchase the car before I sent the report. He had a hidden profile. He insisted that I use vinanalyzer instead of Carfax.

Definitely some sort of scam

Definitely some sort of scam. Was trying to sell my car and the person kept asking for a report off this site even when I offered carfax. Said something about this goes more in depth or whatever. Person mentioned that they have used the cite before and what point I brought up she was likely scammed at what point she blocked me. Her account was also private.

Sketchy request from potential car buyer

I had exactly the same experience as described in another Vinanalyzr review on Trustpilot -- ie outreach on Facebook Marketplace from a person with hidden profile that asked me to use Vinanalyzer even though they have access to my VIN already. I provided an AutoCheck report to them as well, but they want Vinanalyzer. After reading the other review on TrustPilot about Vinanalyzr, I will not be attempting to use Vinanalyzr.

BE CAREFUL

To be honest it does not look like legit resource for several reasons:
1. If you check domain details on whois.com you will find very concerning details: no real owners data, was registered very recently, was registered through third party domain registrar realtimeregister.com in Netherlands I suppose because of Abuse Phone: +31.384530759
2. When I was selling my car I was reached out by person from Facebook with completely hidden profile which is not 100% an issue but concerning. Then that person asked me to provide the report from those guys vinanalyzr.com. I've never hear about them but what was real red flag before I started to look for in details myself, was they do not even preview the VIN you provide. Usually any VIN lookup service shows you preview of the car with some brief details, but not these guys. For the payment they use either direct card details or some unknown payment provider (I've never hear that name).
3. After my concerns that person continued to insist on doing report through them which became very suspicious now. And when I told I can do only Carfax or Autocheck reports and if that person does not trust them they can do it on their own, they told (READY?) They cannot check VIN using other than owners name :) After that I am very confident it is not advised to use that service.
