While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. Really reliable support

We’ve been using Virtual Pharmacist for a while now and they’ve been easy to work with from the start. Communication is straightforward and just get on with things without needing chasing.

They’ve helped take pressure off the practice and fit in well with how we already work.

Avoid like the plague!!

If I could give zero stars for this company I would. My heart goes out to anyone who has the misfortune to interact, with the director in the legal department for this company. Words cannot describe the pity I feel for this individual. Working for the company was terrible and anyone who wishes to work robotically with non clinical rude individuals who do not value professionalism then this is the company for you. A company who work with individuals but treat them as contractors and pays them no sooner than 6 weeks post working, then this is the company for you. A company driven purely by the remuneration they receive for providing contractors to provide a service to those who commission the service. They communicate via a digital system that you do not have access to once you leave the company so if anything goes wrong you have no evidence of anything said to you. Terrible company greedy rude unprofessional director.

Reply from Virtual Pharmacist

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.

Virtual Pharmacist works with a large network of experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and we take clinical governance, professionalism, and patient safety extremely seriously. Where concerns arise relating to clinical practice, conduct, or compliance with agreed working processes, we follow a structured review process and, where appropriate, may decide to end an engagement. These decisions are never taken lightly and are always made with patient safety and service quality as the primary considerations.

With regard to payment terms, all contractors are informed of payment schedules prior to undertaking work, and payments are processed in line with those agreed terms. We aim to be transparent and consistent across all engagements.

Our communication platform is designed to ensure secure handling of operational and, where applicable, sensitive information. Access is limited appropriately for governance and data protection reasons once an engagement ends. This is standard practice within healthcare services and helps maintain information security and compliance.

We are proud to support many NHS organisations and practices nationwide, and we continue to receive positive feedback regarding our professionalism, responsiveness, and strong clinical governance framework. We remain committed to working collaboratively with both contractors and practices to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
