I think they are good bit too many holes in my walls an plugs uses my sockets my cause my electric bill to inctrase

Only problem i see is what happens if I am at home and the doors and windows are locked. How do emergency people get in to help me if I am unable to unlock a door to let them in?
I have it was was told how it works. No idea if there is a way to test it or not
