Lies and more lies
Awful company to be a customer with.
Bought then cancelled before delivery a mobile phone.
Vodafone took the money and 3 weeks later still haven't refunded the money.
Customer service is staffed by people who are happy to thwart any attempt to resolve the issue, including lying to get rid of you. I've been told 5 times by different staff the money has or will be refunded. The money will go into my account on 15th or 30th of the month, or on Wednesdays and told it's been credited.
All of this clearly designed to stall the client.
I've become exasperated and have now written in the livro de reclamacao online and reported to ANACOM in Portugal.
Bad experience
Bad experience. Contracts only for 24 months with a significant fine at termination. No family plans. No discounts for multiple accounts. Have to pay hundreds of eur for the same internet for me and my partner, for home and work internet.
Bonus sistem is bullshit. You can spend your bonuses only for products with exessive price.
Would give 0 if I could
Would give 0 if I could. They are impossible to contact. When I did finally get a call back their own line was so bad that I could hardly understand a word the person was saying. I need to move address and they are charging me €3 a month more now just because of this change and starting my 24 month contract again.
And I cannot pay my bill with a card or direct debit as neither work. Their website breaks everytime. Do not use them.
I would give a zero
I would give a zero, but thats not an option.
I had/have a business account for internet. I asked my Business Manager at ZeroUm to cancel the account back on 4th June 2024 as the service was no longer sufficient for my needs. Despite 2 follow up emails to him I have not received any paperwork to complete the task. Now I am being chased by a debt collection agency for the unpaid amount. I have twice contacted Vodafone directly to informed that someone would call me to discuss and resolve the situation. No calls have been forthcoming and I still receive more emails advsing me that I owe them money.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service - in presence at official shops, by telephone, by email. I simply tried to end my mobile plan after the 2-year mandatory period and it was impossible to get it done. I went to 3 shops where different Vodafone staff told me everytime that it would be done by the next day (which obviously never happened). I sent emails that are still waiting for an answer until today. I called 3 times to try to solve it; everytime I was put on hold for about 20 minutes and the call ended without any explanation. When I called the support number again and ask them to call me instead (because I was calling from outside EU and being charged 2,5€ per minute waiting on roaming) I was warned (yes, that is the exact word) that calling the company's clients (on a Vodafone portuguese number) was an exceptional measure and it was the last time they would do it for me. Dear Vodafone, I'm so sorry that your customer services are useless, that I needed to call you several times and that every time your connection abruptly ended and made me call you again; I thought maybe you would like to actively call your clients back when the call is interrupted and the subject is not yet solved - apparently not. Heartly, Vodafone, I'm so sorry to disturbe you.

It is impossible to contact Vodaphone Portugal
I cannot contact them by email - the form will not accept my data. The telephone number given will not connect.
The rude guy in Lagos office just told me to find another supplier!
I landed in Porto airport 6 days ago
I landed in Porto airport 6 days ago. I bought a Vodafone Sim card and i have had nothing but connection problems. There has been absolutely no internet connection along the coast from Praia de Mira to Vagueira. Everyone I've spoken to have had similar issues. No connection happens as early as 10am through to 8pm. I emailed vodafone to complain because my Sim card has no calling feature and they could not provide a reason. They will only help a customer. I am a customer. I can't even use google maps due to internet 'no' connection issues.
Its disgusting and a waste of money.
If they are aware of this issue then it should be fixed as this causes alot of stress for travellers.
No to Potential Fraud Prevention
I am a NOS client, and yesterday I received a POTENTIALLY suspicious call from a private Vodaphone number. There was no satisfactory explanation or identification from the caller and so, to report and/or prevent attempted fraud, I asked Vodaphone, Portugal for support. However, following several futile, very time-consuming, attempts to contact Vodaphone by email and online, I was forced to travel to the Vodaphone shop in my area.
In the V/phone shop, I provided them with their client’s number, and described the suspicious calls. I also stressed that while these might have been attempts to defraud, I acknowledged that it might have been perfectly innocent. Nevertheless, as I felt it was important to be sure, I was therefore alerting Vodaphone, and requesting their assistance.
In the V/phone shop I was, unbelievably, told that they could do nothing; but, that I could call V/phone HQ at my own expense, and which I did while still in the shop. Again, I explained everything, and yet again was informed that - because I was not a V/phone customer - absolutely nothing could be done! As a result, the potential for fraud from a Vodaphone number still exists, despite my serious concerns, and very best efforts to do the right thing.
Such inability, and/or unwillingness, to potentially prevent fraud by a global, personal communications brand like Vodaphone is deeply disappointing, and extremely worrying. Indeed, such cavalier, so-called ‘Customer Service’ is totally unacceptable in the 21st century.

Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. It's sad when companies like this treat their customers so badly, I guess they don't care because the money keeps flowing into them. If they got treated the way they treated us, they would stop treating people the way they treat us.

Was with MEO......another useless…
Was with MEO......another useless company only interested in flogging phones, fibre.......but service forget it.
So tried a mobile 4G sim for my home on Vodafone,,,, 24 hours for 1 euro, to my surprise my sppeds were much better than with MEO, so tried a longer 5 day test and all the time speeds were in the 50mb (which was very fast for me, as MEO was running at about 5mb)....So I stopped the MEO contract (over 10 years) and took out a rolling one month unlimited contract for e33/month with Vodafone PT (unlimited has a catch tho....while you get unlimited data you onlhy get full speed for 200GB, then it will drop to they say 10mb/sec.......For some odd reason, after fitting the new sim for the contract I have never managed to get 50MBPS again, now the best I ever see is in fact about 15mbps.....so going in tomorrow to my local shop to stop this contract and go to a 30day unlimited deal which costs the same as my current contract

Greedy Monopoly
Greedy, idiotic company, permanently moved away from Portugal. Took necessary steps to go in person and cancel account. Rep confirmed that account would be canceled so I left the country after returning equipment. Still getting billed months later, talked to customer service guy and he said I have to get a bunch of stuff notarized in order to break the contract even though I already gave the rep the information I was asked for in order to verify breaking the contract and leaving the country. WHAT A SCAM. Should be sued out of existence.
