The phone works but its voicemail system sucks. You can never talk to a person to work it out. The AI created three tickets and promised someone will get back to me every time, but no one did, it is... See more

Signed on Voiply in July
Signed on Voiply in July. For residential phone. During the porting process, my internet mysteriously was canceled.
Signed on for Voiply internet. It's now September 1st, and so far no phone, 1 hour of internet. This company sucks. Do NOT waste your time or money dealing with these incompetent fools
Customer service is a runaround tactic. Excuses and delays, and playing hell to get this service cancelled.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !

Voiply has charged me 89% tax on my subscription. That is insane and when I asked for explanations, they simply said it's collected by government and they have no control. I am yet to find out which state or country charge this much tax? Worst customer service and they never got back to me to clarify this massive tax that collected which is illegal.
No one works there
No one works there! Can't get in touch with sales or support. There's only AI receptionists. STAY FAR AWAY from this company!!!!
Do you trust paid reviews
Do you trust paid reviews? I do not. "I'd love to offer you a $5 Amazon gift card to write a review and share your experience with others." (Email from Voiply)
I tried at least six times to get a hold of an agent to address my issue. Unsuccessful every time because AI intervenes. I was finally able to get through at 12:00 a.m. Eastern time.
VoIPly is a true game-changer for solopreneurs and freelancers.
VoIPly is a true game-changer for solopreneurs and freelancers. With crystal-clear HD calling, built-in CNAM in the starter plan, and a 50% discount currently available, it's built with professionals in mind. What really stands out is their 24/7 customer support—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Plus, their KYC (Know Your Customer) process reinforces that this platform is tailored for serious, professional users who value trust and compliance. Highly recommended!
Have had problems for over a week and…
Have had problems for over a week and all I get to talk to is AI. Nothing has been done to fix the problem of not being able to send or receive phone calls. Many hours of wasted time with your 'technicians' -aka- AI without the issue being rectified. Was told to wait, wait, wait, do this do that repetitive times, and no call backs when I was told they would have someone contact me. This has been going on and on. I need a company that cares about customer service and quality. I am copying this message to post on reviews. I am sorely disappointed with Voiply. I really liked the service until I did not.
They don't serve you with a live person
They dont serve you with a live person, and the system doesn't understand my problems.
Terrible service; worse support
Their service never works but at least they offered 24/7 support - but now they continue to offer that while giving you an AI to talk to that only offers to break your account and asks, "Are you still there?" and says "You're welcome."
They promise a callback but you get none.
This is an outright scam.
Terrible customer service and management…
I have had VOIPLY service fo for 7 years and cancelled this year due to increasing costs and terrible serive. Even after cancelling they tried to bill my cc for another year. fortunately i had this blocked whne I cancelled?
These are unscrupulous people running this company > Steer clear
Basic functions do not work
Text messaging doesn't work. Voicemail doesn't work, calls drop. Can't seem to do basic functions. Mac desktop app is clunky and un reliable. Can't call out to other numbers. signal strength is poor on app but strong on both phone and desktop.
Very poor customer service
I had cancelled service there because it got to be too expensive, especially with the exchange rate from Canadian dollars to American dollars. I was charged to return the equipment, and received a shipping label. The address on the label turned out to be the wrong address. I was asked where I got that address. I told them that I got from Voiply, and forwarded the email with the information. a day or two later, someone else from Voiply asked where I got the address. It seems that they don't talk to each other there.
Then I was told to wait for the package to be returned, and that I could keep the equipment.
Looking at the tracking information, it seems they "magically" found the correct address for the return and it was "redirected" to the new address, and that the item was "processed". It looks like they lied about me keeping the equipment.
I cancelled my account on March 20
I cancelled my account on March 20, 2025 because quality declined with the new platform they switched over to and the prices went way up. When I inquired about the price increase they lied about hiding the increases inside of the taxes and surcharges section of the bill. It turned out that VOIPLY was adding an additional $10 in surcharges for themselves, and they told me it was government fees.
When I cancelled and switched to Ooma, VOIPLY sent me a confirmation of the account cancellation and then proceeded to bill me and charge my credit card for another three months. Each time I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them to get a credit and each time they said the account was cancelled and I would not be charged again.
VOIPLY is incompetent and they are dishonest. Stay away.

just after one of purchasing the service i'm unable to use it and unable to login on both mobile and computer.

The app works OK when it works
The app works OK when it works. But I had problems with the service. Sometimes the phone didn't work and I missed phone calls. The text message service stopped working and I had to recieve texts via email. I tried to work with customer service, but you had to do so via a chat and it was very slow to get help.
I give it 3 stars when it works
I give it 3 stars when it works, which is about 50% of the time. My base is Bali, Indonesia, so I never tested it from the USA. The service has had numerous issues. When making overseas calls to the UK and everywhere else, I was getting cut off after 15 or 30 minutes, no connections, and there were fade in and outs. I've had to reinstall the app twice to fix the apparent issue, and it didn't help. The support staff does answer, but what they know varies from person to person. They gave me an Int'l number to test, and it asked for a pin (beforehand, my Int'l calls did not ask for a pin). The number gave a message that it cost 41 cents per minute and I have the free Int'l service. The issue was upgraded, and I never heard back. SKYPE had a drop call problem, too, but not this bad. Sometimes, I have to call multiple times to get a connection. I paid the annual fee, and I feel stuck and too busy to port the number to another company. VoiPly offered me a $5 Amazon gift certificate to make a positive review, but there's no Amazon in Bali. The service is, bottom line, "buggy." My WIFI speed is 40 Mbps download and 14.3 Mbps upload. That's fast enough to stream HD on multiple devices; however, the Voiply cuts out with a WIFI error message: "workflows could not run because too many events triggerd at the same time." I was told to reprovision the app. It didn't help. Never had an issue like this with SKYPE. If I had to do business using this service regularly, forget it.
Worst phone system I have ever used and…
Worst phone system I have ever used and customer service is even worse.
Service is going down the toilet
I have had Voiply for 18 months. In the past few months, the service has had numerous issues, When making overseas calls to the UK, I was getting cut off after 15 or 30 minutes.
Then, my ability to call certain overseas numbers just stopped, and it has taken almost 4 weeks to rectify this.
Finally, I have lost the caller ID name information on incoming calls, all I get is the number. No matter how many times I call Voiply, there is a new excuse for the problem.
So-so quality service & rate keeps going up
I've had Voiply for 2-3 years now and have not been overall happy with the quality of their service. The device has gone out many times, for both outbound and incoming calls. The voice quality is inconsistent, sometimes sounds far away, digitizes the sound, and will accentuate the back ground noise. Customer service has been ok, most of the time but not today. It would be easier to overlook these issues except that they keep raising the price every few months.
Seems Like AI Ruined a Fantastic Company
Been with Voiply abt 3 yrs. Used to be the BEST. Their Chat Tech Support was Stellar! But, AI seems to have taken over: no more Chat Tech and Voiply's Robocall Defender App is the WORST> It marks EVERYTHING "Scam Likely". Sad example of what we have to look forward to with the take over from AI
worse company ever......all they do is lie
worse company ever......all they do is lie.....they also can not read english......they stole my number and there so call hd is so not hd as I got 1 call and it was scratchy as hell....there phone app also sucked and that was where I got the 1 call......they claim my number was ported but never got a dial tone & stole my number as I went back to my previous carrier and got screwed by them as well......voiply loves to explode people's head & lie so much.....tell them no need to reply and they send pointless emails that has nothing to do with issues I had
