Used them on two occasions for separate holiday accommodation - never again and would respectfully suggest you use another booking agency. Problems both times with the two destinations and they use the usual jargonese to wriggle out of having any responsibility as the rental agreement is between the hirer and the property owner. On the second occasion their office employee stated that they didn't do property inspections before listing properties to rent...they rely on the property owners being honest and truthful. Save yourself the hassle and use someone else unless you want to contribute towards their income via the booking fee you'll get charged.

An amazing location, beautiful views, walks from the door step and close to the beach. The property was immaculately clean, very spacious, kitchen reasonably equipped, could very easily be a 5 star. The reason for the 3 star is the inability to get a decent sleep. Beautiful big bay windows but no blinds so room is lit up by 4am. One of the twin rooms had awful cheap metal beds that creaked loudly with the smallest movement. We were a family of 9 (3 generations) who love to be on the go. The lack of sleep significantly impacted on our holiday. Small change would make this cottage the best place to be.

Pros- great location, lots of good hikes nearby helpfully explained by Andrew and on a map in the property, pretty much all essentials are in the property (including towels for both showering and the hot tub), little touches like washing basket, really dog friendly including secure front garden, parking, dishwasher, big screen TV (advertised as having Sky TV but is the basic package with only the freeview channels and no ability to pause etc)
Cons- one of the main reasons we booked the holiday was for the hot tub but we did not realise it’s location was on decking visible to the whole campsite so felt a bit uncomfortable e.g. when getting in/out the tub in swimwear, and also the rule was to be out the hot tub for 11pm, and we set timers for this, but on one night it was 10:59 and the owner came to us with a flashlight to get us out which was uncomfortable.
Also the mattress was quite uncomfortable and loud when rolling over.
Suggestions- to consider hand wash to be provided, to consider some sort of privacy shield around the hot tub, to consider providing a fan as the bedroom got really warm despite none of the radiators being on

The most relaxing holiday we have had with our dog- lovely studio, warm and cosy, enclosed front garden- super friendly hosts- no noise apart from the sheep and the birds- a real getaway if you fancy escaping all the stress i.e. no tv , internet and intermittent phone signal
Track to the house a little bumpy, so take care if your car is low slung- and would advise to bring a food shop with you, as once you are there, you won't want to leave- only downside , no clothes washing facilities but for the price and the tranquility a price worth paying

Good experience booking online and clear communication from company at all stages. Clean, extremely well -equipped cottage in beautiful quiet location with use of lovely garden and walks from door. Helpful and friendly owner on site. Had a fantastic week enjoying outdoor pursuits.

Easy to navigate website & simple booking procedure. Lots of updates & info leading up to holiday & follow up after. Our holiday let was exactly as described and photos were accurate. Highly recommend.

Treasure of a cottage. Light, bright and warm day and night. Fantastic views and lots of birds on the feeders and river. Numerous seating areas in and outside the cottage to get the best views. Location ideal for lots of places to visit RSPB, Osprey Centre, CAT, fugitives bike park, King Arthur’s labyrinth. Wonderful.

We stayed here for a special 3 generational family weekend. It was perfect! The location is wonderful, so close to the beach and town and accessible for the coastal path. The accommodation itself is ample for a large group with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge downstairs, enough bedrooms, bathrooms, showers, toilets to ensure no one had to queue even in such a large group as ours! The playrooms downstairs were an added bonus for the children who loved having their own “den”. A welcome pack was included and I liked the fact that a local telephone number was provided in case of problems, which in our case there weren’t. I would thoroughly recommend this property .

Have booked several times with Wales Cottage Holidays and always found the team to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Stayed at Hafod y mor in Tenby and this was probably th ebest location of any property I have every booked.

Lovely clean property with bright decor. Superb location only a few mins walk into the town centre and main beach. Enclosed garden was great for our dog. Would definitely return.

Booked a lovely cottage through this website. Needed to amend my booking a little and the customer service team was very helpful. Good communication throughout, plenty of reminders sent about the process for check in and check out.

Brecon view Lodge. Gorgeous Lodge, spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you need. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. A lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic property and fabulous hosts; a place of tranquility and superb standard of furnishings; a perfect bolt hole in every aspect. A wonderful place to switch off,relax and unwind.

A beautifully restored cottage, great location, stunning views and blissfully quiet. Rob and Auverne are welcoming and helpful. The open plan layout really worked for us, great to be able to cook and be sociable. Definitely happy to recommend a stay here.
