Where to begin.
They chased me to set up the policy, even as I was waiting to collect my new (second hand) car. Very polite and persistent, trying to get me to take out the policy. I decided to go for it and get my first ever car warranty policy, which would cover me from day 1! Unfortunately I was in that unlucky club that had an issue a week after I took ownership of my new (8 year old) car.
Processing a claim is basic, I called up, was told to email the quote in, I did that and never heard anything back. I called up to find out what was going on, after getting hung up on multiple times, and then also transferred to their sister company 'car loans uk', they couldn't transfer me back so had to call back again. The hold music/speech repeatedly tells you of a 'dedicated team, that will do their very best to assist you in getting exactly the right policy for you'. This dedicated team seems to consist of about 3 people; Megan, Ryan and another guy who's name escapes me, who always seem to be 'on their lunch' and 'ill get them to call you back'.... Spoiler they don't.
So fast forward 3 weeks, still no news on my claim and the car has been in for repair, everything sorted, call them again many... Many times, but no joy getting hold of anyone, so I call the finance company who do the payments 'bumper' I get through really quickly and I tell them I want to cancel my policy, they say that unfortunately as it's through 'warranties UK' I have to go through them, I explain the situation and the lack of communication from them, he gets on the phone to them... 2 minutes later they call me, but quickly brush me off with excuses and that they'll cancel and refund me, but I doubt I'll ever see that based on other people's reviews.
Tldr - cover from day 1 doesn't exist, very difficult to speak to anyone, claim process might as well be by carrier pigeon.

The reason for taking out warranty cover is to protect against "unforeseen" issues, unless a car is brand new then an issue can arrise at any point, your 30 day clause is just an excuse not to pay out, and you do not stipulate this when the policy is being taken out.
If you had read the quote for repair properly (which you didn't) you would see that the only software issue wasn't actually an issue, it was a 'free request' with Tesla to check the battery health, this was indicated by the £0.00 cost on the quote. The mechanical issues were to do with the air suspension and the electrical charging point being defective.
Should I wish to contact you? You mean like I haven't been trying for then past few weeks, but continuously getting hung up and fobbed off with bs excuses... Do you even work in the same office as the sales reps?
But I shouldn't worry, keep up the terrible service and you'll soon be another failed business in no time at all.

Took out a warranty on my car on the 26th of June 2024,then i had to cancel after 2hrs on the same day as a result of unforseen financial problems. They promised to cancel with Bumper,but i have been calling both with no help at all. I received a cancellation fee yesterday which im willing to pay so i can get out of it all,but no one can send me any bank details. Or even explain why i have to pay a fee when i canceled within 24hrs. They keep promising to call me back or respond to my email, but nothing. Poor communication from everyone who answers the phone. No response at all when you email.Not deserving of any star at all,i am very disappointed.
