I was given a clear and fair valuation of the item I intended to sell, without obligation Alex was really helpful and friendly and didn't pressurise, I was nervous about sending the item via the post however all went smoothly, they arranged everything, I had a seamless service from start to finish, If I ever had to sell anything like this again, Alex would be my first port of call

Starting at the end. Essentially when you win they give you the sellers details and you sort everything out despite the offer of assistance which is ignored. Not a bad gig for £600 minimum fee. I asked what they do for their £600 and was ignored. They do offer for you to use their facilities but that adds further cost.

At time of bidding, very often the time left changes. Counting down the seconds and another two minutes are added. Hmmm

Mark was very helpful and super professional from start to finish. He arranged photography of my watch at their offices in London, and made sure I was kept informed throughout the process of when the watch would be listed and when the auction would start. I didn't quite achieve the price I was hoping for, but Mark's attention to the sale during the last couple of days of the auction meant I was able to lower the reserve in order to be sure it sold, rather than miss out because I'd set the reserve too high. I'd certainly use them again if I wanted to sell another watch.

I had a very bad experience with this platform. The watch I bought arrived with a bent case, and the repair evaluation came back at over £15,000 — more than I originally paid. I sent them the official report from Switzerland, but received no help or support from the WatchCollecting team. In my experience, the watches do not seem to be properly examined before listing, so I would advise buyers to be very careful.

Hugo was extremely helpful in giving me guidance on the procedure, having not purchased through a watch auction before.
The photos were very clear and presented the watch in its true condition.
I will certainly be confident in buying further watches in the future via Watch Collecting Auctions.

Watch collecting offers great service and communication with successful buyers.
My only recommendation would be for them to be able to arrange freight from the UK to Australia, but now that I've opened my own Fedex account it should be simple in ther future. It would also be great to be able to pay by credit card as international transactions are not always easy and credit card Exchange rates are usually better than banks .
Overall, a great experience for my first purchase on this site.
