Scam attempt.
I get an email if I would like to get a new appraisal of my watch. Rolex Explorer II
They offer me in this email the following options:
-Sale on commission
-Direct sale
-Trade in.
After making the offer they suddenly refuse a direct sale. In my book this is a scam. They make an offer to have your watch appreciated but refuse to live up to their own email.
Please beware of this company, dishonesty turns out to be a trademark.

Bought Rolex Datejust 31mm from Watchmaster, just received today and it’s exactly as described.

Purchased a rolex from them. On the first outing it suffered water ingress (despite being "waterprpoof" i retuned to watch only to be accused of wearing the watch with the crown out! expecting me to foot the bill to being the watch back to the standard it should have been. Absolutely bizarre and shocking customer service from the manager. I would recommend looking for a reputable retailer rather then these cowboys.

WM were most professional throughout, keeping me fully informed of progress and (sensibly as it turned out) dissuading me from prematurely reducing the asking price: in less than 4 months, in hardly a booming market, they achieved a very fair price and charged reasonably for the work of refurbishment. Thanks a lot!

ten out of ten,good rapour with my contact,always there when you needed him,kept updated with the progress and proceedure,at the end an easy transfer of the moneys into my bank 4 months later,from collection/repair/testing and recalibration and polish and sold, well impressed i will definitely use this company again,faultless and entrusting,thank you

This is the third time I have used Watchmaster to sell my watches. Each time the process has been very professional, all watches were sold at current market value.

You may need to be a little patient on the length of time your watch will take to sell. Obviously some watches may sell quicker than others. But all three watches were sold within a year.

Watchmaster are always available on the phone if you require assistance or updated information.

All contracts and payments are electronic and very efficient.

I have no issue at all in either selling or buying a watch with Watchmaster.

I have sold a few watches through Watchmaster, one of them in days. The customer support was great, clear contract terms and seamless execution from inception to payment. Recommended

This is the second time that I've used Watchmaster and their service is exceptional.

The pick up is easy and secure, the updates during the sale process are regular and informative.

I can only say great things and recommend them highly.

I gave my watch to sell 8 months ago. I understand that it's a one year contract but it would be nice to have a bit more communication. I had my watch fully serviced and polished before I handed them my watch. The guy who took the watch agreed that it doesn't need any refurbishment.

Even though I live in London, I was assigned a French salesperson. Not sure why. Anyway, there was no interest in the watch for months. I kept asking what's happening. They don't reply. Finally, they sent an email that we should reduce the price. I did. Although since people can give a lower offer if they are interested in a watch, how does reducing the price help.

Two weeks ago, I got an email saying that someone is interested in the watch. Their offer was at 90% of the sale price. I went back to them saying I will sell at 95%. No reply for a few days. I sent an email for status. NO REPLY again. I called them today and I got a reply saying the buyer didn't show interest. I said what about communicating that to me? They said not sure why I wasn't told anything about it.

Today I got an email that the watch needs refurbishing. The email came from someone (no name). Not from my original sales person.

Why does my watch needs refurbishment when it was agreed 8 months ago that it didn't need any and they haven't had an interest in the watch? Is this company a scam or real?

I have 4 other watches to sell and I was hoping that if I had a good experience, I would sell them on this platform.

Rubbish experience so far.

Professional, kind, and very good experience is what defines Watchmaster. It didn't take long to sell my watch, it was really fast, once the sale was completed it took less than 24 hours for the fund to be transferred into my Bank account. People at watchmaster are honest, always helpfull, Akaash with the whole team were very kind, honest and always helpful, I am happy to deal with Watchmaster. I will highly recommend it.
