They took $14,000 out of my account, won't return it

Really simple: They can't be trusted. They ripped me off for $14,000: I EFT'd that amount on October 3. Not only did the amount never reach my account, they later reversed $14,000 out of my account... but they were taking money that never made it to my account in the first place. Oh, and get this: In my account history (now) it shows in error part of the transaction on the 2nd, but I didn't transact until the third. They were trying to cover their butts, but they're thieves, plain and simple. I've been dealing with this issue for over a month, but let them rot now. Let them lose business because of their dishonesty. If you're a client, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Dump Webull now or be sorry later.

I have been around this game for over…

I have been around this game for over twenty years, seen the good and bad. This one started out fine, I will give them that. But when it comes to their support, finance, doing what they say, they fall apart. Every time I reached out, all I got was sorry, like that fixes everything. It doesn't. Not when it's my hard earned money on the line. I wish I had gone somewhere else. Some lessons come too late. I got in early on Góld Rulé ınc and that was the smartest move I made, Their system runs itself and every withdrawals are processed without issue.

I’m only in the beginning stages of…

I’m only in the beginning stages of starting an account. Should be easy right ? Not so much! The micro deposits were confusing and excuse me if I entered the exact right amount in the wrong order as they appeared on my statement ! Froze my account ! Right then and there I should have just gone with a Mac friendly platform like tradovate. Long story short against my better judgement I used a debit card to fund my account. Easy, way less hassle. When I put it in it went into my margin account not my futures account. No problem I’ll just transfer it into my futures account same platform same everything nope you can’t do that for 5-6 days when it settles 😂 customer service took over 24 hours just to respond. Seriously thinking when it settles pull it out find a realistic broker !!!terrible experience so far !

Irresponsible and unaccountable broker customer service

When it comes to transferring funds be rollover IRA’s or Roth accounts they are extremely fast and proactive. When their systems have glitches and major issues they ignore, deflect or avoid any form of accountability or attempt to cover the losses. Smaller brokers are more customer service focused and will refund accounts if the issue on on their end but webull doesn’t do that which forces people to have to go the legal route and sue/escalate to FINRA/SEC. Their practices are extremely irresponsible and unfair. Their app software doesn’t show data on the main screen and when attempt to manage the trade it requires going into the 2nd screen to attempt to manage the position. Also when AWS was down they should have been proactive and blocked trading. Instead traders got into positions and couldn’t manage them effectively due to the charts losing connection. None of their replies had any accountability or attempt to support the customers who incurred losses. I was one. They seem to constantly minimize issues and do nothing to refund customers. There’s no such thing as free. This is the cost of using brokers like this and a realization that I would rather pay and have great customer service than deal with extortion. They need to be escalated. Also brokers need to have a backup and stop relying on just one provider

I wish I could give them zero stars

I wish I could give them zero stars. Friday the whole system went down and wiped out my Futures account. It is their fault and no one responds. The Worst Customer Service! If this doesn't get resolved I am going to file an SEC Complaint. Do not use this company!

Webull’s lack of redundancy creates a material risk to customers — platform failure tied to AWS outage caused real financial harm

During today’s AWS infrastructure outage, Webull lost live charting, accurate P/L display, and stable visibility of account balances and open positions. This is not a UI glitch — it is a systemic failure of service continuity. The platform became unusable for real-time risk management while trades were still open.

Because Webull relies exclusively on AWS with no redundant failover data provider, the moment AWS degraded, Webull effectively disabled traders’ ability to monitor or exit positions responsibly. I personally incurred approximately $300 in losses solely due to this service impairment.

This is a material impairment to a trader’s ability to manage risk, and raises serious questions regarding operational integrity, business continuity planning, and compliance with FINRA Rule 4370 and general best-execution obligations. A real brokerage cannot have a single cloud dependency with no backup.

Given the scale of affected users and the fact that this incident occurred during live trading hours, this is the type of infrastructure failure that leads to class-action litigation. Hundreds or thousands of traders may have experienced preventable losses today due to Webull’s failure to maintain a redundant trading environment. For an active trading platform, this is simply unacceptable.

Absolute change of the look of the iPad…

Absolute change of the look of the iPad app. After months of using it now it does not behave like it used to. WeBull claim there are no issues and it is the “mobile version”, so how come it all changed in 24 hours ? Not what I am used to seeing and some screens only work in portrait mode. Abysmal to say the least so I am looking for another broker app

Money missing/removed from my account 1…

Money missing/removed from my account 1 day after my first deposit.
No response from support email and currently sitting on hold for 2 hours.

Update after allowing me to deposit money - one week later they have now 'restricted' my account and are making me pay exorbitant fees to get my money back.

This is a complete scam company.

DRIP with Webull is like

DRIP with Webull is essentially “well hold your money for up to 5 days past the dividend payout date and we may reinvest it for you.”

I haven’t had any “rude” responses from the support staff, but definitely cold. I get answers to questions that….aren’t exactly answers. At this point, I’ve decided not to ask for any clarity on anything. Because I’m often more confused from the responses than I was about the issue, originally. Apart from never asking any of them any questions ever again, I think I’ll look into transferring my holdings to Fidelity.

Scam Alert!

I connected my bank account and made a deposit for $20500.00 because I had a plan for the stocks I wanted. I talked with some friends and they told me Webull was not a great site. I decided to change to another platform. When I tried transferring my money back out of Webull it would only allow me to transfer $10K per day, OK I can live with that. After transferring the first $10K my account was frozen and I had to verify my bank account. I followed the instructions and sent a copy of my check from my bank account, then I was told it could take up to 48 hours. I received a notice that I could not use my DBA account and it had to be a personal account? This is the account it came from!! I still do not have my money and still do not have it straightened out! Do not fall into the scam trap that is Webull! I sat on hold for an hour and finally selected the "will call you back, will not loose your place in line", no call back yet.

My account was closed without reason…

My account was closed without reason after 1 year with webull. This was when i was supposed to receive my transfer bonus. they closed my account without my consent with 0 reason given. Then they told me i need to transfer out within 10 days, but they restricted my ability to transfer out. support lied to me multiple times and told me the transfer restriction was lifted, but it wasnt. They also blocked my number from the phone support system, and i can only contact them via email. they are holding my portfolio hostage.

WEBULL SUCKS!!!

Webull will not allow you to transfer your crypto. You must sell your stock to gain access to it. Very bad. Also, they will block every effort if you try to transfer your money back to your bank or try to liquidate your stock. Constant messages saying you are in jeopardy of losing your entire investment. Wish I had gone with another exchange. WeBull does not take care of its customers. If I were you, go to another exchange. This one SUCKS!!!

Webull is brilliant!!

I would like to add that I am 1 year into my trading journey and Webull is one of the first brokers i signed up to, I have ditched all other brokers as Webull is superior for trading US equities Small Caps or Large Caps or anything in between from the UK, The fills are amazing and the fees are amazing even if they upped their fees from the nominal amounts they currently charge roughly $0.11 to enter then $0.11 to exit a trade, I would still stay with Webull. I have used other brokers from the UK and they charge much higher fees and the slippage is disgusting, imagine paying higher fees and getting terrible slippage on highly liquid stocks. Not with Webull I estimate out of all trades I have executed with Webull less than 1% have slippage (on stop buy orders and stop losses) and the slippage is always acceptable!! I genuinely couldn't recommend Webull more to anyone trading US stocks outside of the US

I now solely use Webull for all my trading styles whether intraday, swings and long term holds. Webull has been great, quick deposits, quick withdrawals, great execution times on trades, a good integration with tradingview, Level 2 data is comprehensive and very fairly priced, they provide free live market data for major markets which you have to pay for on most platforms. I have traded on 8 platforms and I would put this as the best trading platform I have used. I genuinly dont believe the reviews on trustpilot give justice to webulls platform and ease of use.

People please ignore any reviews that recommend random brokers.

WeBull platform still suffers significant problems.

I'm amazed at how popular the name "WeBull" is, and how dysfunctional the app and overall company functionality are. Just getting money deposited into your account initially can take days (yes, that's using the "instant" debit card process). Instead of using a legitimate debit card processing company like Plaid, WeBull uses some random generic company (Astra? Something like that) which is apparently run by high-school kids in their off time. The number of complaints from potential customers who couldn't link their card is in the THOUSANDS, yet WeBull does NOTHING to address the issue. Even more, before being brave enough to trust your account and financial information to this nobody-company, you have to sign disclaimers stating that, if the debit card company "loses" your money in the transfer process, they are not responsible, regardless of the amount of money (no, that's not shady at all!). I was willing to deal with WeBulls ridiculous charts which are overly complicated and not user friendly at all, and I was OK with their slow-to-no customer service, but once I realized they do business with a no-name debit card processor who demands immunity for their incompetence, I deleted my account. No thanks!!

Update: I downloaded the "Public" app on a recommendation...debit card and checking account were verified and money was deposited and available in under 5 minutes. So much better!

I've been trading for 20 years- they don't rate well.

I've been trading for 20 years. This is Not a bad analytical platform but their customer support and financial functions are way below average. Yeah, they always say 'sorry' but it means NOTHING. I regret ever using them to trade. I would recommend you to use someone else!
