No help at all if troubleshooting

Called Whirlpool for advice on how to open the filter with a dishwasher. They answered they couldn’t help, and to call Home Depot. Refused to help in any other way. Talked with Charneca.

Bought parts on-line for fridge Order #0672242121

Bought parts on-line for fridge. Part was not the one needed. The part was discontinued being made. I returned the purchase with their prepaid postage but have been waiting for over 2 months for my REFUND-CREDIT to my credit card. Phone calls are automated and you wait 1/2 hour or more and then they disconnect you with never answering. WORST SERVICE EVER FROM ANY COMPANY. BUY SOME OTHER BRAND. They are all probably made in China anyway regardless of company brand.

Disappointed with Whirlpool Canada.

This has been the worse experience so far with a billion$ appliance company.
Seriously...I keep getting thrown random questions and nothing done to help me have my less-than-a-year washer get checked by a tech. A huge grinding noise & burnt plastic or metal? It's taken so lightly (And we aren't newbies). Us ...the little people...we spend a lot of money on these "Trustworthy" companies, only to be let down.
I'm truly disappointed with Whirlpool Canada.

I purchased 3 Whirlpool appliances just…

I purchased 3 Whirlpool appliances just under 3 years ago; along with an extended warranty. First the dishwasher went and I had to get it fixed, and the refrigerator ice machine keeps acting up. The worst is the range. There is a crack that is about 1 inch thick in the enamel of the oven that goes from one side to another (keep getting shocks). Applied to the warranty but apparently that is not covered. Was cooking and went to turn the knob, the knob broke off - can not find a replacement. Now the oven does not come off of the preheating setting plus it takes over 3 hours to get to 340. Even though it says 340, when you check the temp, it is around the 280 degrees. What can this company do, send out a technician, fix it or replace the range.

Promise us a refund but have yet to deliver

Recently, I posted a complaint about a Whirlpool - 2.8 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Smart Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo. When we first received it, it washed and dried in less than 2 hours. However, after 200 washes, the performance of the dryer portion deteriorated. It took over 5 hours to wash and dry clothes for a small size load. We had purchased a 5-year warranty. When we contacted the service department, they told us an 8 hour cycle was acceptable and refused to give us a refund. Since, I posted this review on Trust Pilot, Whirlpool did send out a technician. The technician couldn't find anythng wrong. Finally, Whirlpool did promise us a refund and that they would pick up the appliances. We have been waiting several weeks and they have yet to do that.

Over the Microwave stopped working less…

Over the range Microwave stopped working less than a year after purchasing. The under warranty repair has been ongoing for 2 years with 5 service calls , a variety of part replacements and not resolved .
Calls and Chats used to placate only .

Appalling lack of service

13 month old dryer not heating. Called Whirlpool engineer (they brand as Appliance Pros+). Engineer (rude and unpleasant) says he has no idea what the problem is so he's going to order lots of parts to see if replacing one of them will fix the problem. He says it will take 2 days. After 2 weeks of inaction, Whirlpool confirm they have no way of tracking or following up on service calls, they don't keep supplies of their own parts (even simple things like thermal fuses) and can't provide me with any indication of what is happening or how long this may take. They made me pay $180 up front, which I wouldn't have paid if I'd known all this.

I will not recommend Whirlpool and it…

I will not recommend Whirlpool and it is worst appliance service. I have problem with my freeze and whirlpool technician came and he just opened the freeze door for 2 sec and closed and told that thermostat issue and need to replace and he left and told that he will comeback again. After 2 hours he called again told this is not thermostat issue and it related jazz control board replacement and advised to call customer center to pay the bill and get the more details of the new part. I have called customer service center and they are not able to answer my questions about repair and new part warranty and they can be able to answer only about new part charges and labour charges and customer service told that technician will give a call back to answer my questions where I have not received a call till today. My concern is how technician is identified issue with Open the freeze door for 5 seconds. With out doing diagnostic tests he advised sometime things and after 2 hours he called and advised something. But one thing is good with whirlpool is they will send invoice for the wrong diagnosis with out giving proper solution and they will threat us that they will send this to collection agency. But any how I had paid 140$ for no service.

Refrigerators Whirlpool WRB533CZJZ

Brand new refrigerator... 7 months old!!!

Been waiting for about 3 weeks for the repairs (from Whirlpool Pros+ maintenance cie) despite being told all the parts are available locally. I got all sorts of excuses but not much of anything else. No offer for any sort of compensation except for a 3months ext on the warranty. When I placed my fourth call, I was told that one part was still missing and they were going to put a rush on it. Three days later, I had to call for the fifth time to find out why the "rushed" part was not in yet.

Horrible product, horrible to subpar customer service. I will personally NEVER buy a whirlpool product ever again.

It is impossible to clean the drain…

It is impossible to clean the drain filter which is underneath the washer in the front with no kick plate or access in the Model WFW5605MW Serial CB2200589. I will never own a whirlpool washer again. It is a two months old and filter is plugged. I’m going back to LG. So disappointed. Manual is useless as well.

First the microwave now the range. I wonder what will breakdown next ? 3 appliances to go. Bet they won't make 1 year...

Amazing how they continue to sell appliances with know defects. Then tell you the cause over the phone.

I agree with the previous comments, this company has gone from the top of the pile to the bottom, I have a 1 yr old new home all whirlpool appliance, 5 service calls. the latest near the end of warranty, the self-cleaning feature was used and the whole stove was shot after, they replaced the whole master panel, now the temp is 50deg lower than oven shows. They want me to pay for a service call because it is a different issue. Also fridge gets rust spots, washer misses spin cycle on quick wash, the drying sensor is useless, need to do a timed dry after a load yet they say there is nothing wrong with-it. Never again. I will stick with LG.(not samsung, they are just as bad)

They do not stand behind their parts

They do not stand behind their parts! If you replace a part yourself they will not honor the warranty. So for a $200 icemaker, I'd have to pay a service tech min $200 to turn 4 screws, then if it breaks the service guy has to honour the warranty and I'm still out $200.

DO NOT BUY ANY WHIRLPOOL, KITCHENAID, MAYTAG, AMANA, HOTPOINT, JENNAIR, ETC or this will be your fate as well

Our Kitchenaid fridge is going to the curb, looking for a suitable competitor. If you don't need ice, come get it.

Please help spread the word. buy quality, not this junk

Purchased a Whirlpool Fridge Aug 2020, when the fridge arrived the freezer did not work, after months of back and forth with technicians, replacment parts, the fridge still did not work and had to be replace, when the 2nd fridge arrived the freezer worked but the fridge did not, again months of back and forth with Whirlpool customer service and many visits from the technician, the fridge was replaced in Feb 2021, all seemed to be well until 3 weeks ago when the fridge started to get warm inside and my food was going off, called Whirlpool again and had a technician come out, which he did, and said a part had to be replaced... So here we are once again, I am without a working fridge for the third time in less than a year!!! I will never ever purchase another Whirlpool Appliance, and I would never ever reccomend that anyone purchase any Whirpool products, they are substandard, and all the CEOs care about is the mighty dollar, not their customers... If there was the option I would rate this review as 0
