Great service again from Wood Fuel (and Les Smith)
Ordered over the phone to delay the order a week, smooth process. Pallet arrived and Les Smith put it in my garage, so I could unload it at my leisure over the weekend.
Well stacked pallet and the briquettes having bought them before form Wood Fuel will I'm sure keep our house toasty warm this winter.
Great Service as usual from Wood Fuel, and keen prices too!

Just got some beech nestro briquettes
Just got some beech nestro briquettes. I have tried all kinds of briquettes over the last 2 yrs. These are the best so far. Nearly 2 hrs for a single briquette broken in half. My stove is a 4kw contura multufuel. What I like is no smoke at first like some briquettes. Good flame. Perfect. Recommended

Sue & Ashley were both so helpful …. Ashley kindly put together a package of products that she thought would be most beneficial for my stove set up and they arrived the next day! She took the time to ask about my house and heating as well as how I would be using the stove so she could tailor suggestions to my particular situation. I’m very glad she did. Sue answers any queries so quickly and is great at keeping customers up to date with availability, delivery & shipment info.
I have ordered my winter fuel already and I know, having had the samples, I chose wisely. Thank you WFC - I will be a returning customer.

Reliably excellent service
Reliably excellent service from this supplier and very pleased with the delivery too.
I asked on Friday for a Monday delivery, as the forecast was for sunshine all day and it requires a couple of hours to unload and store a pallet.
Out of nowhere we had half an hour or so of heavy rain - and of course that's when it arrived!
I was relieved to see how well wrapped the pallet was. Barring a couple of small tears, which were easily covered, it was all intact. When the sun returned and I unloaded, all the briquettes were bone dry.
Good to get the bird seed too - I'd forgotten I'd ordered it!

These folks are brilliant
These folks are brilliant, we installed a new stove but it just didn't like our hardwood logs, we drove down to Dumfries from Lesmahagow and were given advice on the best briquettes for us to use. We bought a variety of various types and were given a great price. Needless to say they have solved our issue and we will be returning again .Thankyou.

Regularly use Woodfuel Co-op for wood briquettes.
Much better briquettes than most suppliers, at much better prices. Good variety.
Also a lot more flexible about quantities/mixes of different product.
Very happy with the products & the service :D

An excellent experience
I decided to try wood fuel cooperative as I like their ethos and their website is clear and informative. There are options for buying in various amounts from full to quarter pallets, or even making up one’s own pallet. I found this a bit confusing, it’s another skill to work out the quantities. As it happens, the amount I ordered did not amount to cover the £64 added charge for this. I was given a refund and alternative delivery . Having bought the selection of briquettes to try, I was having issues with one of my log burners. A call to the company was so helpful and advised on the better ones to try. Something I probably should have done in the first place.
I intend to order a larger quantity in time for next winter. I’ve been amazed how efficient and heat producing briquettes are.
