amazing platform
All in all is it an amazing platform for people who want to make connections! I think it’s a special community who all share a pretty social mindset. The only thing is that the website good be designed a little bit smoother. It often just stops working and freezes or is just not running really smoothly. Besides that I think it’s working goood

This person was well informed by reading all the guidelines from workaway. Many people applying for positions do not realize there are hours and days you need to work to expect to get a bed,food internet ,
House rules are important and being respectful of other members in a household. We do not want to have noisey phone calls ,loud Tv.Hosts also help workaways by introducing them to the surrounding tourist spots and negotiate working hours to include time for this to happen
.. Between us her experience was well planned with no surprises for either of us.

It's definitely true that how well an exchange goes can vary if the person is uninformed or not a match lifestyle wise - we'd recommend making sure that important details (eg. house rules, lifestyle choices such as smoking, dietary choices, bed time etc.) are always discussed beforehand whether it be through messaging or by doing a video call before confirming an exchange so everyone's on the same page :) We hope the rest of your exchanges go smoothly as this one- happy hosting! 🤩

I have had some very nice experiences from workaway as a host. Thank you.
As an advice I could say that sometimes when somebody wants to come to help us, I see that this person have only one picture and very bad quality one and no reviews, and it makes it a little hard to take decision to invite the person or not.

We have been using Workaway platform since 2018 and have had over 20 volunteering experiences all around the world.
Our favourite thing is that there are so many different hosts and experiences to choose from - everyone will find their suitable experience.
Using WA is quite simple and communication with potential hosts is easy.
