My Felco 2 secateurs are generally excellent, and my shopping experience on line today was also very good.

The secateurs have one great failing, however: the spring that opens them after each 'snip' keeps falling off while in use, and having to be hunted for and then replaced. Last week it came of yet again (for the third time that morning) and simply could not be found, hence my visit today to buy a replacement.

And hence also the lukewarm review- I did email Felco to suggest that quality tools should not fall apart during ordinary use, and that they should provide a replacement spring under guarantee, but got no reply.

Goods arrived within time stated and as described, in original packaging. Excellent service

Needed a replacement spring for secateurs; why drive to garden supplies when, with free postage, they arrive within 48 hrs? Justification for buying professional tools when you get professional service.

I checked prices on Amazon then came to the World of Felco website, which I have used before. Cheaper AND free carriage. Plus they remembered my details from last time I used them, a couple of years ago. Very easy, quick, and economic experience.

If the product was reliable in the first place and lived up to its price tag I would not be wasting my time getting spares. Abysmal and no credit to Felco or their appointed agents. If this is professional equipment I am glad to have taken early retirement

Over the years I have used a Felco 9 pair of left-handed secateurs, but yesterday I decided to upgrade to a 10, also meant for left-handers. A really robust and well-designed product. Excellent service from ordering onwards and the delivery came today, well packed too. Thank you!
