Prompt replies to queries

Website easy to navigate, ordering simple. Have contacted them a couple of times and have always received a prompt reply, considering the situation in Israel at the moment their service has been exceptional. However, I am still waiting for my order to be delivered, no refection on them, but more on Royal Mail, my parcel has taken longer to get from Belgium than it did to get from Israel to Belgium. Beginning to think that the UK dose not want any dealings with Israel, but will not be honest and say so. Wanted to place another order with them, but due to the delivery problem not so sure. Such a shame that a good company is being let down so badly by a bad international delivery service.

I ordered a Bring Them Home dog tag on…

I ordered a Bring Them Home dog tag on 10th January and it is now 28th February and it still hasn't arrived. The tracking (if it is genuine) shows no movement at all but they keep referring to it. Even allowing for the current situation, this is unacceptable. And why coming from Belgium not Israel?

Hidden Costs and Shameless Customer Service.

shameless customer service.

shamelessly inflate your bill with hidden costs like courier taxes after being billed for courier etc. the delivery ended up being 2 times the price of the actual f'ing items. pathetic at best. reality: they used a courier they are not accustomed to using got charged premium rates and just shamelessly passed it on. making me pay for their incompetence.

Beautiful Hebrew name necklace order! Thank you!

I have recently purchased a Hebrew name necklace from World of Judaica and I am incredibly happy with my order. Originally, after my purchase I read some of the reviews on this forum and became concerned that I would not receive my order at all. However, I received fantastic service and was informed that the new owner is making an effort to ensure reliable service. Highly recommend.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!

NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!! Be careful. Did not receive any goods! Wrong Paypal account. Be careful! I wanted to order silver candlesticks last week and pay with Paypal. After the Paypal transaction was completed, I did not receive any order receipt or email. I tried to contact the customer service and was forwarded to the customer service of Judaica Webstore, which is another popular online shop for Judaica. So the owner seems to have changed here! They told me they did not receive any money from me and that the money was not with them??? Then where is my money now? Have not received any refund by now nor any candlesticks. Customer service did not reply to my emails anymore. NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!!

We got this response from world of Judaica when we advised them that an Emmanuel kiddish cup had corroded since being purchased in June 2017.

Are you serious?
Your order is from May 2017, MORE THAN A YEAR AGO!!!!!

Stealing from customers in recent months

Charged my credit card for a duplicate order (due to their glitchy website). I returned the duplicate per their instructions, but they never refunded my money! Initially apologetic, they have since refused to respond to my messages and no answer at phone number. Seem to be stealing money regularly from customers.

A real shame, because I liked their products.

Worst customer service experience I…

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Radio silence.

I placed order 29438497 on Jan. 25th, 2018.

On February 8th, I logged into my account on their website and found that my order was listed as "pending," and that their site told me "We have tried contacting you regarding a stock, delay or design change with your order. Please contact customer service via phone or live chat so that we may resolve it for you." They had not contacted me at all.

On Feb. 20th, I received the following email: "We apologize for the delayed response and inconvenience caused with your order.
We have not forgotten your order and will do our best to resolve this matter to your satisfaction, as soon as possible.
We are currently moving to new facilities and once we complete this process we will attend to your request.
We will appreciate you to bear patience for a few days more."

I contacted them again on March 26th, and they never responded.

On May 14th I sent them two more emails. One email asked for a status update on my order. That email went unanswered. I sent a second email that same day asking generically for help with an order. That email they responded to the following day. As soon as I responded with my order number, they stopped answering.

Now here we are, over four months later, and I can't get an answer for them at all.

BEWARE!!! Horrible customer service!

I made an order on 11th may, only to be notified (13 days later!) that the item i ordered was out of stock. I've asked to the customer service on that same day to issue a refund. I'm without any response until today, 28/5. This is an HORRIBLE customer service. Please, i want my money back as i havent received any product and i've already pay for it!

My order has a bad karma

I have bought a item with express service at 04/23. today, the order status is in fulfillment, but on the site was written AVAILABLE. now, the shofar has disappeared from the site!

UPDATE: after that publication, they sent me an email with the tracking number BUT since 2 days the DHL status is: Some of your queries resulted in an error
EE1735xxxxL (Not found): No result found for your DHL query.

UPDATE 2: The tracking number was correct on another site, so don't use DHL.com. DHL has delivered my order BUT to another person in another city?! Now DHL is looking WHERE my order is. I am very sad...

Thank God for the Norton Guarantee

Where to start with this company? The misinformation on the website or the complete lack of customer service?

About 3 weeks ago, I placed an order for four items which were listed at despatchable within 2-3 days. One infers from this that they are in stock and ready to be shipped - or at worst it only takes them a day or two to get the items and then ship immediately. They've been in status of 'In Fulfillment' for the past three weeks, with an explanation that this means they're waiting on their suppliers. So, when they said they're in stock, what they really meant was no, there's no stock at all.

All this without a single point of communication to advise me of any delay.

I've tried countless times to contact them to follow this up, all to no avail. * Their live chat is always 'offline' - I'ved tried both in US time zones and in Israeli, just in case, but it's never online.
* Instead, it offers an enquiry form, but my forms have gone unanswered.
* Direct emails to them have also gone unanswered.
* I've called their number that their site says is a voicemail service, but it just rings out every time without a voicemail (again, I've put US and Israeli country codes in front of the number - just in case) and lastly,
* Facebook messages go unread.

That's multiple attempts at FIVE separate communication channels that have all failed/been ignored.

Thankfully, they still offer the Norton Guarantee on all purchases, so I've been able to open a dispute with Norton. I don't know if I'll get the refund or if it'll light a fire under them and get them to send my order, but either way, I'll not be spending money with them again and I recommend people steer clear of them completely! It's far easier - and A LOT quicker - just to travel to Tel Aviv and buy things in person from HaCarmel market.

Wish I had read the reviews before…

Wish I had read the reviews before ordered. I have ordered before from World of Judaica, but something has gone wrong recently with the company. They're not responding to emails, their "Live Chat" is broken (on purpose?), don't respond on Facebook and there's no phone number. I ordered some kippot meant as afikomen presents for Pesach in plenty of time. They still have not arrived and the delivery address is in Israel, so no overseas shipping required. I am going to try and get my money back. I don't think I have time to purchase elsewhere. :(

Sadly

Sadly, I must give this rating. I made an order in late August, and despite several contacts initiated by me, the order ( presents) did not arrive in time for a Bat Mitzvah in mid-November. When they did arrive, one of the two items was not correct. The correct order finally arrived about a week after the Bat Mitzvah. Long story short, I did the honest thing and sent the incorrect order back, knowing full well that I will probably never see the postage money back. I may be a sucker, but, I did the right thing.
By the way, they do not answer their 800 number ( in fact, it is often impossible to even make the connection)and despite the hours listed for live chat, you have to be lucky to get them, despite calling at the correct times. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!

waiting since february 7th

On February 7th I bought some kippahs, the same day I got a mail to be informed that 1 of them was out of stock and they asked me to choose another model to replace it. Since that day I have not heard anything from them and I don't even know if they actually shipped my items. Almost 2 months and I'm not sure what to think.

I also ordered something from this site and received my items over 20 days late. Tried to return the products and have not been able to reach the company. Never got a refund. Terrible experience! Terrible company. WIsh I had read these reviews first!
