Ordered a pond lily and some irises. They came in custom-made protective boxes which just amazed me. Hadn't had that from other online stores. And for that reason the plants arrived looking amazing and are now thriving. Great online experience.

I ordered 5 trapdoor snails which arrived in a container in which there was some wet newspaper. I followed the instructions and placed them on a top step in our outdoor pond. Unfortunately, 2 snails were dead.
Update: We contacted the sales team as requested and we will soon be receiving 2 snails from them. Thank you for the great service and for responding to my review.

Communication was spot I ordered a blagdon pond and chose my delivery date and received a call to say its held up and will be a day late which was very professional as some company's wouldn't do that the gentleman left me a voice mail to ring him back and kept me updated

I bought a blagdon infinity all in one pond almost 3 years ago. In this time it has broken down twice. Both times World of Water have been super helpful and quick in sending out spare parts to get it operational again. Would highly recommend.

My son and I went into World Of Water Swindon, in Studley Grange. My child was gently investigating a wheel on a water wheel pond decoration, and I was right behind him monitoring it very closely to ensure nothing broke. However an employee came up to us and rudely told my son to stop touching the item.
I am absolutely furious with how we were spoken to. My son felt embarrassed and was told off when he wasn’t doing anything wrong. Not to mention that I am his parent and no other person should be reprimanding my child when I’m standing right behind him. I was standing within a foot of him and actively talking to him about the decoration, so he was not in ANY danger of breaking the item.
I emailed the store my complaint and the owner responded to me basically dismissing my concerns, gaslighting me, and saying that children shouldn’t be in the shop touching items anyway. According to the owner the staff are encouraged to tell off children.
It’s a Garden Center with a soft play inside and lots of children’s shops. So to say that children cannot touch anything is beyond ridiculous, ageist and discriminatory. I have written another review online locally and lots of parents have come back confirming that a similar situation has occurred with their children too in this store. This isn’t acceptable, World of Water!

This is the review for Hailsham/Eastbourne today that I left on Google
Went here today as looking for a new fish tank. We purchased our current one here about 8 years ago so thought we’d return for the new one. 4 staff members just chatting amongst themselves and in their phones. Not one word, not a ‘hello’ or anything, no offer of assistance. I don’t like nor do pushy sales people however an acknowledgment or a quick ‘hi, if you need anything I’m here’ is good. After spending about 45 mins or so looking at aquariums we went to ask the staff if they had the tank we wanted, staff member didn’t really know and had to ask a colleague, they’re not new as been there for months and didn’t know basic information. We were told no stock held and it’s about 2 weeks wait for it! If my staff behaved the way this lot do they wouldn’t be with me long, lazy, disinterested is best way to describe them. We then went to Stone Cross, staff really helpful, left with the tank we wanted, perfect. Never will I go to World of Water again, it was great when Stevie worked there, it’s not now.
UPDATE: As there is no way to reply to a response I need to add it here. Thank you for responding, if you look at the reviews on Google you will see several others saying the same as I have. I like to check what others say in case it’s just me having high expectations. Thank you for looking into this and responding. I own a business with 2 retail units so I have a good understanding of how retail works. One of my staff started recently and thought it was ok to be in a mobile during quiet times, it’s not. Plenty of cleaning etc to be done when quiet.
