Ordered my new lens from 42nd Street Photo and they were super helpful. Lens came quickly in the mail with no problems. Appreciated the follow up call to make sure all was well with the lens. Will surly buy from them again!

I ordered a Nikon lens for my camera and they not only gave me a better price than anyone else but an extended warranty also. The lens came as expected and works great. This was my second purchase from them without any issues.

I recently purchased a camera lens on line through 42nd st photo and out of the blue one of the reps called me to make sure I ordered the correct lens and he was right I ordered the wrong one , which they corrected and all was great.

Customer service is fantastic, being new to photography I was ordering a lens for a film 35mm and not a DSLR , Thank-fully the representative called, inquired a bit about my photography and suggested some working lens options. This personal service is difficult to find today and I really appreciated this. Lens arrived promptly and has been great! Thank-you!.

I initially had a problem with my order, however after speaking to the Customer service manager they made everything satisfactory. I love the lens I ordered from them, and haven't had any issues with it. Looking forward to receiving my new Canon 6D Mark II

Got exactly what I ordered with one issue which Costomer Service corrected right away. Received package sooner than expected.

Just getting back into the DSLR world after retirement. Placed an order for a Nikon D810 and 28-300 zoom and accessories. Received a call from Micheal prior to shipment confirming my order and advise on better choices on the accessories to match my camera for optimum performance.
Later purchased a 200-500 zoom. Again prior to shipment I received a call confirming order and shipping info. In both cases product arrived in a few days. Great camera & service!

I purchased Nikon P900 camera from these people. A representative contacted me prior to shipping the package to confirm that my order was correct. The package arrived on time and the camera is functioning as it should. Over all I am happy with my purchase.

Excellent service. I needed some good advice as to what camera to choose after my trusty older Canon DSLR quit on me. The customer service rep was very helpful, provided detailed advice as to the differences between the few cameras I had chosen to consider and was thorough in answering my questions as things have changed since the purchase of my previous camera. The camera arrived in one day. Excellent service, will be my go to for camera needs from now on and will recommend them to anyone looking for camera advice and equipment.

I ordered new Sony Camcorder for $3699.00 on their web side says NEW after I paid for it I get email from Jack that he needs to talk to me I call him he first asked my address while he had my shipping address then he told me do you want to buy the package's I told him no Then This is what he said

YOUR USED CAMERA IS ON YOUR WAY YOU SHOUD HAVE IT IN 48 HOURS
I TOLD HIM I PURCHASED NEW CAMERA NOT USED .
I don't think I can trust this place at all

42nd street photo had the item I wanted at the best price - My salesperson was knowledgeable and professional - I was offered an extended warranty and purchased it - along with purchasing a UV clear filter I was given a rubber lens hood and a cleaning kit - the lens itself came with a plastic tulip hood, so no real need for the additional hood - I would have rather received a discount toward a polarizing filter, but, I didn't ask, so that's really on me - Overall a great experience -

these guys pulled a classic bait and switch on me. I ordered a $999 lens from their website on July 2nd 2018 the next day it said it was scheduled to ship. On July 9th I get a call from some salesman confirming I knew I was ordering the non-USA model. I wasn't aware of that since it does not say that on their website, but the "nice" man was willing to charge me just another $100.99 to upgrade to the USA model. Nope, just cancel my order. He kept pressuring me to spend the extra $100.99 and wouldn't let me cancel my freaking order. Now I need to contact my credit card company to dispute the purchase. Don't waste your time with these guys, just go to one of the reputable businesses and pay a few dollars more.

TL;DR - 42nd street photo uses a classic bait and switch tactic to lure business in and then charge their customers more.

I ordered a Sigma 50-100 through here 2 years ago and it has been a perfect addition to my lens collections! I highly recommend buying through 42nd Street Photo!
