I spent weeks researching the purchase of new lens for my son. He had requested a Canon 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens for an upcoming film festival, and I wanted to find the best deal. I searched all of my regular sites, but then ran across 42nd Street Photo's website. I had never made a purchase here before, and in fact, I had never seen their site. But what I found was a NEW lens for a price that was CHEAPER than advertised used lens from competitors. When trying to finalize my order, the staff was also very helpful as I selected an UF filter to protect the lens, and cooperated in helping me get expedited shipping to ensure it arrived in time for his film festival. In the end, I saved over $350...and I got a NEW lens, delivered on time, with exceptional service...and my son was excited! A win-win purchase and encounter. A+++++

I am looking to purchase a canon 16-35 mm f/4 lens and 42nd Street Photo has the lowest price as usual. I called them
this morning and Michael recognized my voice immediately and it felt good speaking to a friend instead of a stranger. I have been
shopping at 42nd street photo for over 10 yrs. I bought a canon T4i, Canon 6D, 24-70 mm f/2.8 Lens, 70-200 mm f/2.8 Lens and
Macro 100 mm f/2.8 Lens from 42nd Street Photo. I trust them with my camera’s gears. 42nd Street Photo is my 1st choice.

Not only are the prices significantly lower than any other place I could find on the web their customer service is really what stood out. They contacted me two three times after my purchase letting me know the details and asking how my experience was, very professional and will do business with them again.

Always great prices, great packing & shipping. Never a problem with these guys. We have two companies and have been buying equipment from them for over a decade.

Customer service second to none, they even call to see how you like the product you bought,etc..Shipping was lightening fast. Would recommend these guys anytime!

I've purchased several items from 42nd Street Photo and keep coming back because their prices are better than any where else. I always buy name brand items that are new. They have always been shipped promptly and are received in good condition. In January 2018 I purchased a Canon EF 1.4X III Extender TeleConverter for Canon Lenses and it is identical to what I would have purchase anywhere else and exactly what I wanted. Other purchases in the past year include a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera body, a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6II Image Stabilized Lens and a Canon EF 24-70 II USM Autofocus lens. I've saved hundreds of dollars by shopping here and I wouldn't keep coming back if I wasn't completely satisfied.

Purchased a SIgma F4.0 24-105 DG Zoom. Lens was a great price and was delivered as described on time. I also called them about some warranty questions. Answered questions with no pressure to upgrade warranty. Lens is great too.

Great deal on a brand new lens, well below amazon, fast and safe shipping. I simply could not be more pleased. I called in to order and found the clerk very helpful and polite.

I purchased the Nikon 28-300 zoom lens. I love it. It is nice not having to stop and change lenses. The staff at 42nd street photo are very friendly and helpful. Will definately shop there again.

I purchased a Canon EOS 80D Canera Body and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens. The description of each online was very accurate, and they have worked great (12 months now). The staff at 42nd Street Photo is very knowledgeable and take the time to answer any questions you may have. Shipment of both items was very fast. I will definitely be making more purchases from 42nd Street Photo in the future.

I had never done business with 42St Photo and thought that I found a really good deal on a Nikon D7200. The next day I get a call describing that they just wanted to make sure that I knew I had purchased a European version of the camera and that I needed to pay $200 more for the US version. Oh, and that for the trouble they would throw in a $200 16GB SD card for free. What a joke! Where in the hell does a 16GB SD card (I don't care what speed it is) cost that much. The guy was very pushy and a complete idiot. I knew some thing was wrong immediately and canceled my order. He tried very hard not to let me cancel saying that I was paying the same amount as other places. These guys don't deserve to be in business.

I purchased Canon 135mm F/2 from 42nd street. I was kind of nervous when placing order since that was my first purchase from it but the price was much lower than Amazon that I could not miss. It ended up to be a happy experience. The item arrived timely in perfect condition. I'm now confident with the company will come back again.

I bought a Canon 5D4 SLR camera body last January. I still love this camera and have used it shoot many fatanstic shots that earned me high reputation in my photographic circle. The price I paid was well below then market price.

I have purchased 3 cameras from 42 Street Photo and have always received prompt and friendly service. They also have the lowest prices around and shopping there is always easy, whether it be on-line or with a quick phone call. Will definitely shop there again for any of my photography needs.

I've now purchased three lenses from 42nd Street Photo and they are outstanding. Not only do they almost always have the lowest price for high-end gear, but they are meticulous about their shipping and customer service providing follow-up phone calls and ensuring things went well. Highly recommended!

A person from 42nd st contacted me prior to sending out my shippment. This was a great help to me since I was going out of town the week I ordered it and was afraid I would not receive the item before I left and that it would be sitting outside in the cold weather until I returned. I was assured that I would receive the package the next day (I did order priority shipping) before I left on my trip.
