AVOID!

AVOID!

After an no fault accident, Admiral insurance had 4th dimension collect the bike for repairs.

10 weeks later, all I get is a weekly update saying to wait another week & it is not possible to give me a timeframe for return of the bike.

Hopeless & frustrating communication from the team that provide updates.

If I could get the bike back & have it sorted elsewhere I would - this has been a nightmare with no end in sight.

How they stay in business is beyond me.

Don't know how good their service is as I spend hours at a time listening to their hold music before giving up.
This is the second time in dealing with an insurance claim that the brokers have relinquished all responsibility and handed me over to a 'claims management' company. That time (not 4th Dimension but Mc-AMS) I ended up firing their solicitors and using White Dalton.
This time, who knows? I'm still on hold.

HORRIFIC

HORRIFIC, AWFUL, RUDE.
I’m with Devitt for my motorcycle insurance and my bike was sent to 4th dimension for repairs in a non fault claim in June 2021.

They still haven’t started repairs on my motorcycle.

Each week they blame delays on the repairs to pending parts. Each week they are rude on the phone. Each week they fail to provide any form of understanding or decent customer service, being condescending and rude, when asking the simplest of questions.

I was told on Monday 13th they would look to source an alternative tyre for my Harley Davidson as it’s the one remaining part, and as of this afternoon (Friday 17th) I’m told it’s more complex and difficult to source a replacement. How? It’s a tyre.

When I requested to see the correspondences between them and their parts supplier they refused “we can’t do that” the reason is so that I wouldn’t call them directly. Not that I’d bother, but I was keen to see if the parts were ordered when they said they were. At the moment, 4 months on, I’m not convinced. Plus the customer service rep Faith, who was particularly rude and condescending on the phone said some individuals have take a year to get their motorcycle back.

Stay clear, run a mile. If you have a Harley, use their insurance. I’ll never go with Devitt again after this for this alone.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

DO NOT under any circumstances allow your bike to go to this company. They scam insurance companies and policy holders (you) with their courtesy bike and storage schemes. They'll send you a form and simply state that you have to sign it within 3 days or nothing gets done. They explain it's just a way to recover storage costs. What they DON'T tell you is that they keep the vehicle as long as possible to claim storage and if it's disputed by the third party's insurance then you, having signed the form, are liable. My advice, if you're not at fault, is to go straight to the third parties insurance company. Avoid Bennett's bike insurers too, who route you directly to this lot after an accident. Useless.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid...

My HD Sportster was damaged back in April and it was sent via my insurance company to 4th Dimension...due to the parts having to be sourced it took till July to get the bike back....not a problem, I received weekly updates as to they were still waiting on the parts. i thought they bad reviews were possibly unjust, but no. When the bike was returned the heated grips weren't working, so I called them...Speaking to 4th Dimension, he said "there was a bit of confusion, as they were working and then they weren't". Now 4th Dimension told me to take it to a dealer and then if they gave a quote for the repair; then 4th Dimension would cover it, this was due to the distance I am from them. So I did, and the Harley Davidson Techs told me it was the actual Ceramics in the grips probably when they were moved to the new set of handle bars, which the 4th Dimension team had replaced. So I emailed 4th Dimension, no reply, I called, no answer....as yet my emails and calls remain unanswered. In my opinion and as I told 4th Dimension on the phone when i first noticed, it wreaks of "Lets hope he doesn't notice as it's the summer and we'll send it back to him". I've sent the bike in to be checked by HD due to my concerns over 4th Dimensions repairs and it's still there after a week....what does that tell you. Avoid them, get your bike to an approved dealer for repairs.

DO NOT USE.

DO NOT USE.

My bike Suzuki Intruder M109R went in with light plastic and tank damage from 29/04/21 not returned 20/07/21 said delays in getting parts which is out of their hands but nearly 3 months ? Sadly not the worst of it, my bike had 1600 miles on and was like new, on return bolts from plastics missing or incorrect ones fitted not even 10mm bolts but cap heads....multi plug jammed in headlight cowl, whole headlight mounting bracket loose....best and worst main metal bracket holding main loom up and front brake hydraulic pipes no bolts fitted....swinging in between forks rubbing on loom and fork headstock. Scary if they had rubbed through could have been very bad. Up to you but would refuse my bike to anywhere near these...bike was returned dangerous ....lucky I found it. Wouldn't trust them with wheely bin let alone a bike. If any one requires proof please feel free to contact me for photos.

Blood sucking vampires

Blood sucking vampires. These guys are professionals at scamming the maximum money from insurers. After very minor damage to my Daytona 4th dimension collected my bike, immediately dropped off the hire bike.... Please bare in mind this bike was a rather ratty CBF1000... They had my bike for 2 and a half months to replace fairings and purely superficial damage. Despite this very minor damage they rang me saying they couldn't carry out all the repairs as it was close to a write off!!!! when I got the bike back, the pazzo levers I had on were replaced with a cheap looking alternative, when confronted they said they didn't have any in stock.... after pestering they sent back one of my old levers and a single replacement. Fast forward two years later as my insurance try to claim the outstanding funds... It's the hire bike!! £12,300 for that bike!!
You could say that 4th dimension purposely ply their victims with a hire bike, then hold the victims personal bike for an infeasible amount of time, then reap the 10s of thousands they have gained through their hire bike scheme..... Or am I missing something?

Superb work - thank you

Just received my bike back and must say it is a first class repair. The bike is immaculate, 4th Dimension were very communicative and went beyond the bare minimum in all areas. Couldn't be more pleased.

Abysmal service

Abysmal service. This is an insurance repair. 2 weeks to collect bike, another 2 weeks for estimate. It eventually took over 10 weeks to return the bike. I wrote to MD with detailed complaint but no reply. I have zero confidence in this company and will avoid insurers who use them as approved repairer. Current insurer is Bewiser.

Appalling service from this company

Appalling service from this company.
My bike was involved in a very minor accident in August. I was told it would take 3 weeks to repair it. It is now the end of November. I've phoned up and have been told that the bike will "hopefully" be able to be looked at in a "couple of weeks time" because of a "big backlog". I doubt I will have my bike --my only form of transport-- back before Xmas. Very angry with this company.

4th Dimension uh! More like the twilight zone

Initially was quite happy with 4th Dimension however this all changed once I got bike back after repair works which was very light damage headlight cluster and front fender replacement. Mechanically the bike was all fine I waited a month when bike arrived it looked fine but after close inspection and ride I discovered the quick shifter didn’t work as it did and my front headlight adjusters also didn’t function I formed 4th Dimension they came to pick it back up fitting a second headlight cluster as first one they said that the adjuster had been over tightened but quick shifter will have to back to dealer to fix it?!!!! What was the point of this if they aren't going to fix something they clearly caused very disappointing 4th Dimension uh more like the twilight zone avoid if at all possible it's put doubt in me now about the safety of my bike for future

Fell off my brand new Piaggio Beverly…

Fell off my brand new Piaggio Beverly motor scooter on Thursday 5/3/20.
They picked it up on Saturday 7/3/2020. Paid my excess £650. They kept me informed weekly (by phone or text) on repair and progress. Scooter returned Tuesday 21/4/2020. Took a while to fix because of pandemic, lockdown and parts coming from Italy. Came back as good as new.
All phone contact was polite, informative and knowledgeable.
For me, they were a good company to deal with.
The bloke that picked up my scooter was polite and friendly.
The gent that delivered my Piaggio was also polite and friendly.
I was not in a rush to get the scooter back, as my injuries took 6 weeks to heal.
