The worst bank
My experience with this bank has been nothing short of a nightmare. First and foremost, the fees associated with this account are exorbitant, especially when compared to other banks I use. Despite maintaining a substantial balance and hardly using the account, I'm still being charged outrageous fees.
The customer service policies are just as disappointing. When I needed to order a new debit card, I was shocked at how outdated and cumbersome the process was. Their online portal is equally frustrating—it's old, inefficient, and doesn’t allow you to log into multiple accounts on the app. As a business owner, I’m forced to juggle between logging into one account on my computer and another on my phone, which is incredibly inconvenient.
The final straw has been my attempt to close the account. I initiated the process three months ago, but it has been an ongoing struggle. Despite submitting the closure form 15 times with various corrections, the bank continually finds new reasons to reject it. It’s clear that they’re doing everything in their power to prevent me from closing the account and to continue charging me fees. This feels like a deliberate scam.
I strongly advise against using this bank. There are far better, more user-friendly options available. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this bank at all costs.

This has been my worst experience with any bank in the world! I can't be more disappointed in the services provided by ADCB. I have been trying to close my account for months and have been given the run around everytime I submit the form. They have continued to charge me fees on a account that I have never used. They are delaying the closure and have held my funds inside the account for months. They are not user friendly, their website is extremely outdated. You can't login in with multiple accounts on the app? Come on get with the times and update your system and stop holding my money! Close my account already

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by ADCB Bank. I recently made an online purchase for 30 AED, but 4,000 AED was fraudulently deducted from my credit card. When I contacted ADCB for assistance, they were completely unhelpful and refused to refund the money that was clearly taken through fraudulent activity. Their lack of support and unwillingness to resolve this serious issue is unacceptable. I expected better from a bank of this caliber and will be taking my banking needs elsewhere. I do not recommend ADCB Bank to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive financial institution.

This is not a real bank but rather a charade like most things in the UAE. Their incompetence is shocking. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service of this bank. Despite being contacted numerous times to apply for a credit card in a very nice manner, the situation changed drastically once I lost my job. Even after explaining my situation, I have been harassed and threatened by multiple bank representatives. They call and text me on WhatsApp at all hours, showing no respect for my time or situation, regardless of whether I am trying to find a job, in an interview, or even out of the country.
Each representative repeats the same information, despite me informing them that I have already visited the bank to settle the issue and do not wish to receive calls from mobile numbers due to a previous scam. They ignore this and continue to contact me in a very bad manner, even though their manager has stated they are not allowed to send messages from mobiles. They even have the audacity to email me, asking me to resolve the issue in a "good manner" while demonstrating no understanding of what good manners entail.
All of this over a delay of just two months, despite my previously perfect payment history. As a director, I find this treatment completely unacceptable and disrespectful. The first thing I did when I lost my job was inform the bank, yet they continue to treat me like a criminal. This is not the right way to treat your clients, especially in difficult situations.
