is this company Alice Bow a fraud

is this company Alice and Bow a fraud? Just like others i ordered two pairs with a third as free in june. i got a confirmation mail, then silence. when i wrote to ask what is going on, that same Amelia replied saying they had difficulties and my order will soon be on the way. that was the last mail i got. I have written more than three emails, called their number which goes straight to answering machine. this is two months exactly. How can such a company that claims to have the duchess kate as their client behave in such a suspicious manner. are they even real or they are defrauding customers online. Right now i do not know how to get my refund. Please i will like to know if anybody got their order

BEWARE of this company, don't purchase from them

If you consider buying from this company - DONT . I ordered three pairs, one of which was free, in June 2019, imagining they would arrive before a holiday on the 5th July, big mistake. Message that they were having difficulties, emailed to say would really appreciate delivery before my holidays, but no response. Tried the phone, but could not get to talk to anyone. While away I got an email to say they had been despatched. On return on the 19th July, no delivery. Have emailed three times, with no response.
So can't give less than one star, but would if I could. Boycott them for goodness sake. Take a look at all the other negative reviews. I even wonder if they are a bona fide company.

Do not under any circumstances buy from this company. They do not reply to your emails, provide very few notifications and despite ordering in early May I still haven't received my order (24 July). Thank goodness I paid through PayPal so I can get a refund from there.

I wish you could rate Alice Bow 0 stars- they don't even deserve 1 star!

I will never order from this company…

I will never order from this company again. It has been a very frustrating experience. They definitely do not deserve even one star. They ignore your e-mails. They don’t tell you when the product is coming. If they have a hard time to deliver on time why do they take the money first? My order finally arrived after 9 weeks. The qualifying of the insoles are not even close to what I received from this company two years ago. In order to save myself from more disappointment I will keep them, however, never ever again. Today is a sad day for Alice Bow with all of the one star review. That’s what they deserve. Can’t deliver, get out.

Ordered May, now July and still waiting

I can only echo everyone else that has already left a review and I wish I'd looked here before ordering.

I placed an order on the 12th May and I'm still waiting to receive anything (10th July).

I should have seen the warning signs when, despite receiving a confirmation email, I received 4 separate (different content so not just accidental duplicates) "you left something in your basket - come back and buy it" emails - 3 of which came on the same day of purchase.
For one, that's incredibly harrassy, even if I hadn't already placed the order so I was mildly concerned but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt as frankly, I'm a nice person and they seem like a small company so maybe they have a few glitches that need ironing out.

10 days later I receive a generic sorry we have had delays with dispatch you should expect your order shortly, but no explanation or indication of an expected time frame.

Another 10 days later and no communication, so I send a follow email to ask if they can provide an expected timeframe.

Another week passes with no response, so I send another follow up email. (Pretty patient if you ask me, I see another review where someone is sending an email every hour)

Then a further TWENTY TWO days later out of the blue I receive an automated shipping confirmation, followed a day later by this email.

"It's Amelia here at Alice Bow.
I am just looking into this for you and I can see your order was sent out yesterday so will be with you soon."

As though they just happened to receive my email the day after the order shipped.

To be fair, this was followed by an apology for the delay in sending the order, but no mention of their terrible customer service response time.

Anyway, that was two weeks ago and I still haven't received anything.
The dispatch email claims that all orders are shipped from their London Studio and I live in London, so I can't imagine what service they could have used that would take this long.

I have sent another follow up email, but I won't hold my breath for a timely response.

Obviously it sucks to be waiting this long, but the real issue I have with this company is their lack of communication and transparency.
I also see on Instagram there have been a few complaints about deleted comments, so I guess that's another warning sign that is hard to ignore.

I REALLY wanted to like these...but NO.

I REALLY wanted to like these. I ordered near the end of March, 2 pairs. I ordered 1 pair for flat shoes and 1 pair for heels. After an e-mail in June saying that they had (finally) shipped, I received them July 5. (I order things internationally all of the time and there is no excuse for such an extensive wait. Also there was no communication about this. They should have been regularly communicating about this and if they had good customer service, offered a discount for the excessive wait.) The product and packaging was as shown. The real problem is that the product isn't effective. The soles for flats have the cushioning placed on the edge of the heel so that my heel is riding too high for my flats (I tried these with both a pair of Repetto ballet flats and a pair of Tieks). In both cases, I can't wear them with the shoes because my foot is slipping above the back of the shoe. The design should have had more cushioning in the center of the heel and less on the edge. I was equally disappointed with the insole for high heels. They fit in my shoes fine but the padding was ineffectual. It was nearly the opposite issue from the flats soles. The light padding in the middle of the foot was so slight that it made no difference at all - I could tell no difference from using the soles or going without them. In all, a complete waste of money. I like the idea but the design needs significant improvement - certainly for heels more cushioning on the balls of the feet and a redesign for the flat soles. Leather quality was good but thin. Customer service was non-existent. For simply keeping shoes fresh, the Cedar liners from Zaderna (Germany) are far superior and the customer service is very good (I have more than a dozen Zaderna soles). Those do not address improving shoe comfort though.

I emailed several times cancelling my order and asking that they refund my account, but like everybody else nothing is happening. Today I am bombarding them with an email every hour until I hear something. I have phoned left messages etc and nothing back from them. So very annoying when they take your money immediately and then nothing. So wrong. Will not be ordering or recommending them ever again.

Another poor review for Alice Bow - Avoid!!!

Another poor review for Alice Bow. Seems like a classic case of Facebook advertising working too well and they can’t keep up. This would be fine if they bit the bullet and apologised and always answered emails and the phone but they don’t. I did at least (after chasing and being told they were waiting for more leather) get a couple of emails back and received some insoles but the order was wrong. One bridesmaid pair the wrong size, MoB pair the wrong colour and missing a word! Wedding is next week so guess it won’t be sorted by then. Shame, product itself actually seems pretty nice!

Sadly unable to award zero stars

Sadly unable to award zero stars. Now awaiting order for seven weeks following a promotion. Still bombarded with offers but no sign of order. E mail responses are ambiguous in the extreme citing everything from moving premises to supplier issues. FB is obviously policed as attempts to leave a comment there do not pass the moderators. Appalling customer service. As I paid for my order using PayPal I'm planning to use their resolution service to obtain a refund. Avoid like the plague.
29/05/19. Refund request sent via PayPal which I'm very happy I used as I'm not prepared to write off £45. Their website currently states the items are in stock and available for UK delivery in 2 - 3 days. The stupid thing is if had they advised when I placed the order that there would be a delay of X weeks I probably would have said ok but currently I just feel ripped off.

The worst service ever!!!!

I’m still waiting for my insoles no one answers the phone or email, I bet the duchess of Cambridge doesn’t get this kind of service!!! The company has my money!! So glad I didn’t put in a big order, I will never order anything again!!!!

Like the other reviewers below, I placed an order for my wedding and my emails and voice messages have gone unanswered. My first email was answered within minutes by the founder of the company who promised by order would be dispatched shortly but that was nearly two weeks ago and I have heard nothing since.

My wedding is in less than two weeks and I have no insoles for it.

March 2019 - Unacceptable Experience

I placed an order early February and despite contacting them via email on more than one occasion and leaving voicemail messages to find out where my order is, I have heard nothing back from this company and have received no goods to date. So the 1 star I have given equals - unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct, as there has been no communication to my recent emails and voicemail messages. No goods for my wedding in June, so very unhappy customer.

I feel like 1 star is too high

I feel like 1 star is too high. I ordered blue bridal insoles for my wedding months ago and they still haven’t arrived. My wedding is in 5 days. Customer services are not replying to emails, calls or social media. Absolutely disgusting service. Do not purchase anything from this company. You will not get your order or your money back.

I ordered from the US knowing it would…

I ordered from the US knowing it would take awhile to get over. The shipping was very reasonable. As promised they arrived on 5-7 business days. The tracking number started with Royal Mail and transferred to USPS. I signed up for tracking updates with USPS and they arrived today. I cannot wait to use them! Slow down, read the emails and follow the prompts. You may have to read the email to find the tracking. Pay the extra $3 for tracked mail and be patient,

Avoid if you can

Their in soles are lovely if and when you eventually receive them. My last order was on 22 January and despite having taken the monies immediately I'm still waiting for them. No response to emails or phone messages either, so I would avoid ordering if you can.

Beautifully made

Beautifully made, warm shearling insoles that have been amazing in the cold. They are fairly thick though, so I can only wear them in looser fitting shoes and boots. They've given my trainers a new lease of life over winter though! Surprised to see the bad reviews below. My insoles arrived when promised.

Awful customer service

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering !!!
I placed the order on January 27 and I ordered 2 pairs of insoles.
I received one pair last Friday 16February . I have no idea as to what’s happened to the other pair as no one is responding to emails or phone calls !!!
I will not be ordering from them ever again !!!

Terrible customer service

Very unhappy with this company and lack of customer service. I ordered a few pairs of insoles knowing they would take a while to come. On Dec 7, 2018 i received an email saying the order had been shipped with a tracking number from USPS. The tracking number is invalid on USPS or any other carrier. Multiple requests for updates via email have been ignored, and phone calls to the company have gone straight to voicemail. I haven't received the product at all and would never recommend this company to anyone.
