Anchor Failings
Since moving into my Anchor Flat 11 months ago myself and my elderly dog have been bullied, harassed and discriminated against by staff and some residents. The development is unsafe, many service failures by maintenance company and Anchor. On the fourth Location Manager in less than a year. Nasty misogynistic staff who are lazy and lie about what they will do. Toxic environment where residents are fearful and certain neighbours bully others and make up lies and email Anchor. They use contractual companies who do not adhere to Health & Safety Laws putting tenants at risk. Trees are not maintained, one almost fell on myself and my elderly dog. They decided to only prune two out of many as it’s all about “budgets & costs” told by Location Manager. Money is the priority not the safety of the tenants. It seems certain residents get things approved immediately others have to fight for maintenance issues. Residents are not treated fairly and you can clearly see preferential treatment of others. Fire Brigade called and despite emailing Anchor still not actioned what they said needed addressing immediately for residents safety. Immediate neighbour spraying toxic aerosols knowing full well my dog had breathing issues, Anchor have done nothing about this to date I have seen no updates. Anchor are both culpable for the death of my dog being accelerated and my mental and physical health being destroyed. I would not recommend anyone living with Anchor.

Absolutely right from the very first phone call Paula was absolutely thorough and explained everything even the smallest detail. Hailey then made the next steps so easy and effortless ensuring I remained updated as the moving day came closer. The move was easy and and I was made to feel very welcomed by all the residents. Disliked having to wait nearly a month for an electrical certificate to be issued before we could move into our home ( internal move). Causing stress and inconvenience. Also mixed messages from locality manager regard move.

Absolutely delighted to be offered a studio flat with Anchor after nine months trying to find somewhere to live and my health deteriorating in the meantime. It was so quick, after the call offering the studio flat to me, to sign the Tenancy Agreement and then was handed the key to 25 St Thomas Court. I love the flat and all its amenities. It was much larger than I thought it would be and so near the town. Would like to see the Manager here a little more, especially when you first move in as it is so new to a tenant.

I have recently moved into my Anchor flat. Even though there were some outstanding issues that needed to be resolved. My location manager Luca has been fantastic. I feel absolutely at home already. Anchor provide a great homely experience.

The Manager is excellent
The Manager is excellent. She is welcoming, helpful and efficient. I've only given 4 stars because I'm disappointed that Anchor wouldn't replace the bathroom flooring so I paid for it to be done. I think this should have been done for hygiene reasons as the flooring was certainly not new.
