Great knowing I had support and a patroller looking out for my cat last year. Fortunately he turned up after three days (had obviously stuck in a shed/garage), but that shared concern was much needed!

When you lose your cat you feel very much alone in your search to find them. Just knowing there is an organisation like Animal search is comforting and helps tremendously in increasing your hope in finding your pet. We had several calls of sightings but sadly in our case, someone took him to a vet before contacting us, who put him down without even bothering to check that he was chipped.

I keep an eye out for pets that have gone missing in my area while out walking. I set the parameters for distance and contact myself. An easy way to help owners and pets who are lost.

When a pet goes missing it is awful and to receive emotional support, practical advice and understanding cannot be overstated.

My cat went missing, I put him on the Animalsearch UK website. After a little while I decided to have some leaflets printed and employ the Animalsearch missing pet search team. Fortunately as a result of the leaflets, I was reunited with my cat (Heskey) so didn't need to go any further. Throughout the whole process, the Animal Search team were helpful and supportive and it was a relief to feel there were people on my side out there to help me and we were doing all we could. I now have registered as a "Pet Patroller" where they inform me of pets missing in my area so I can keep a lookout.

This service is amazing to the hundreds of people like us who reunite lost animals and in our case sadly deceased pets, so easy to use and the new website is amazing thank you animal search
