We lost our cat Ellie a year ago and even though she was never found and we believe someone must have her , this site was so helpful and knowing others help in helping owners find their pets is great and reassuring, I have found someone else’s lost cat when looking for mine so not all was lost however would do anything to have her back , I still look and check sites daily in hope , she was chipped and a house cat so it’s a mystery sadly.

This is a great service and first port of call if you have a lost pet. I used the portal initially because I lost my pet and now subscribe to try and help others.

Animal Search UK offers a hand of help when a pet disapears. Knowing you can reach out with your pet's details, having local pet patrollers keep a look out is invaluable at this stressful time. When i lost my cat i even had a man with his dog search during their walks and that dog went into every front garden looking for him - it worked and my cat came home safe but tired! I then signed up as a pet patroller myself. Excellent organisation.

Amazing organisation. Please do volunteer if you can. Makes a difference to those with a lost pet.

Animal Search is a wonderful way to Report Lost or Found Pets . Map location is also a Good Idea .

So reassuring to have the Pet Patrollers reuniting lost pets. My dog went missing and we felt so helpless. We got our dog back and just the fact that this site was there to help; was so reassuring. Keep up the good work Guys.

Animal search UK is an amazing free site that I appreciate very much. So many pets have been reunited through them. I get regular emails of missing cats local to me so I can help find them or at least give advice to owner on how to encourage or find missing pet. EXCELLENT!!

We filed a report with Animal Search UK when our beloved cat Boots went missing overnight, and received a call back that same morning with loads of support and amazing advice. A few days later, after our own efforts to find him weren't working and we were truly desperate, we decided to hire the team to come and search our neighbourhood and do their publicity campaign. The entire team were incredible - from the people running the operation and sorting the details out for us, to the genuinely lovely, helpful, knowledgable, reassuring and hardworking guys who turned up to do the search. They explained that whilst the search itself wasn't necessarily how we would find our boy, the publicity campaign is extremely powerful and that would be how he would be likely to be found. They knocked on the doors of all the houses in our neighbourhood, handed out flyers and spoke to everyone on the streets, put up posters, etc. An hour after they'd finished, our cat turned up in the garden next door! We're confident that someone (what the search team refer to as a 'keeper') had had our cat in their house for the last few days and as a result of the search team knocking on doors, doing the flyers and posters, this person had probably realised they weren't able to keep our cat and had let him out, and then he had immediately made his way back home. Our theory is reinforced by the fact that our cat was in a good state (a very little bit of weight loss but he probably wasn't eating much even if he was being looked after as he's very scared in unfamiliar situations and was the same with us when we first adopted him) - even his fur was perfect (he has long fur so we expected him to turn up all dirty and raggedy after a few days in the wild!).
We wouldn't have got our boy back had this incredible organisation not helped us. We are forever grateful and, to be honest, even if our cat hadn't been found, we would still have given them a 5* review because they were nothing but helpful, kind, supportive, and hardworking, the entire time. I wish the world was filled with people like the people at Animal Search UK.

I found their service to be very good and they kept in contact whenever a member of public phoned them. I was lucky enough to be able to go through my insurance to get posters and leaflets printed. Not sure I would have afforded to pay otherwise as it is quite expensive and not sure there is enough social media coverage from their end but posters looked good and very professional (albeit a general template) and they provide you with everything you need to put them up which arrived very quickly. I actually found my cat without someone calling but I think that sometimes having that bit extra gives you more confidence and people notice the advertising. Anything that helps to reunite people and pets is a good thing

I got all the printed materials as promised the next day, even after making several changes late in the day to the original wording. I put the posters up around town and left leaflets at the pet store and at the local vets. I saw people had picked up leaflets and put them in their shop windows and notice boards, and I got reports of sightings on Facebook. AnimalSearch dealt directly with my pet insurance company, Tesco. I didn’t have to fill out a single form. Thank you, a fantastic service from people who really seem to care.

Really supportive at a very difficult time. Kept in contact and offered plenty of reassurance and advise. We had a bit of trouble with our insurance but they helped us sort it and advised us on what to say when we rang the insurers and filled in the forms.

We recently lost our family cat but was soon found by animalsupportuk where they gave us great support and reassurance along the way whilst helping us with the steps to find him during a very stressful time for us. I contacted animal search looking for help on my missing cat. A lovely girl Saqqara was so helpful, and guided me through the whole process. I took out a campaign and was so impressed at the quality. Fluffy is now home and safe! Can’t thank them enough

We hired Animal Search UK to look for our lost dog, the search team were fantastic and found the dog down a rabbit hole! The service was costly but more than worth it. Could never put a price on our gorgeous boys life. The wife couldn’t be happier.

I have had a very mixed experience with Animal Search UK. They were very quick to act on our instruction, which at first was great but we've now realised why they move so quickly...

We paid them £740 for one of their marketing packs and were told that because we were insured by PetPlan, the full cost would be covered by our insurers and they 'never have any issues' when customers are insured by PetPlan. When we submitted the claim to our insurers, we were told that they don't cover the postage and packing, or the materials Animal Search UK send to display the posters - in total, about £85. I have called Animal Search UK on three occasions to ask why we were told by them that we wouldn't be out of pocket, and each time they have promised someone would call me back but no-one has. Instead, all they have sent me are emails demanding payment.

Overall, they are a nightmare to get through to and I wonder how many people wanting to report sightings of missing animals just give up when they are waiting to get through. The 'design' of the posters they use are a standard template and they just add your photo on - it isn't as they advertise. I now feel they play on people when their animals go missing and will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get their money and definitely wouldn't use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Animal Search UK Are absolute angels <3 They helped me get reunited with my cat Bob after he went missing for over 2 weeks. I was absolutely heartbroken and did not know where to turn. Without the help of their amazing staff I don't know what I would have done. I tried all my own posters and nothing had worked, after 4 days of using their poster service Bob was found and brought back to me. 10/10 service definitely would recommend.
