Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 1,464 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently struggled with unhelpful support teams, enduring excessively long delays and terribly frustrating account recovery processes that left them locked completely out of their devices. Many individuals also experienced unexpected hardware defects, poorly fitting accessories, and extremely problematic app store practices that made everyday tasks very difficult. Some reviewers were happy with the in-store staff, noting that local store employees provided patient, friendly, and genuinely amazing assistance during difficult repair visits. A few other people also warmly appreciated the unique hardware quality and intuitive device design whenever everything functioned quite smoothly.

I hate dealing with Apple

I hate dealing with Apple, they allow poor content in their app store and deny refund requests.

Constant issues with harware and software, none of the support staff can speak English so it's seriously hard to understand anything they are saying.

Over expensive items that just aren't worth your hard earned cash. Failed me totally.

Apple store appointments

I made an appointment at the Willow Grove , PA apple store for an iphone 11 battery replacement @ 4:30. I drove 45 min to get there & be told that they coudn't do it that day. I could come back next week & wait 2 hours for it to be replaced. !!!!!!!! I learned my lesson. I'll go to a local tech guy 15 min away.

I have cancer had an appointment and still waited more than an hour this is really unacceptable Apple is free. The car isn’t free so the wait time should be shorter for people paying so much money especially people disabilities. Just just like you to be here.

You should be ashamed of yourselves

You should be ashamed of yourselves. Charging me a yearly subscription for Duolingo. On my Duolingo page after clicking on the 7 day free trial I was asked do you want us to remind you 2 days before it ends or three. I clicked on three days. Because apple cut in Duolingo did not send the message they should have. It is disgusting what you have done trying to deceive people. We are contacting our bank about this. You have caused a financial family upset thanks for being so selfish. I have many friends and will let them know about you and the underhand way you work

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish! Apple locks my account daily and I have to unlock it daily. It's turned into a nightmare. Customer service - nil. It's time to abandon this abominable company.

I have been an Apple customer for many years and have invested thousands of dollars in the Apple ecosystem, including an iPhone 16 Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Air, AirPods, and AirTags. This experience has completely changed my perception of Apple’s customer service.

My iPhone 16 Pro developed a USB-C charging issue while it was still under warranty. Apple replaced the logic board under warranty in March 2026. Unfortunately, the exact same charging issue returned only a few weeks later.

When I returned to the Santa Monica Apple Store, I expected my phone to be diagnosed and my repair history to be reviewed. Instead, I was immediately told that I would have to pay approximately $499 for another repair because the previous repair was more than three months old. The conversation quickly shifted to paying for another repair or trading in my phone.

What disappointed me the most was that no meaningful effort was made to determine whether this was the same underlying issue or whether the previous warranty repair had failed. After contacting Apple Support and escalating my case, Apple ultimately declined to help.

This experience has left me with no confidence in Apple’s customer service. I won’t replace my current Apple devices immediately, but when it’s time to renew them, I will no longer be purchasing Apple products. It’s unfortunate that this is how a loyal customer is treated after investing so heavily in the Apple ecosystem.

I went into the Robina store intending…

I went into the Robina store intending to buy an Apple Watch Series 11 (46mm Natural Titanium). I had previously spoken with Apple Online support about a price match, as JB hifi had it $1159 and was told they can match to $1206. They ask if I wanted to order, I asked if how long and they said it will be 1-2 days, then I asked if the watch is stoked in apple stores to which they replied all stores have apple stock, so off I went to the closet one, Robina. Only to then find out they can’t price match to the quoted online store value, though there may have been a misunderstanding on the phone about whether the physical store could honor the online quote, the in-store handling was very frustrating. The store manager explained that because the competitor's deal was "online-only," their computer system strictly blocked them from matching it to the online price, He told me it would be better to just buy it from the competitor instead. He even pointed out that they had the watch in stock right then, and that I could buy it at full retail price if I didn't want to wait for shipping. It felt incredibly greedy and indifferent to tell (me) a customer to either pay full retail price or leave empty-handed.Their absolute lack of flexibility ultimately forced me to leave and order online. So they lost a sale. I ended up purchasing the exact premium 46mm Natural Titanium watch online through Woolworths instead for just $994.75. Even though I had to wait a few days to get the product delivered, it was completely worth it to save $344.25 compared to Apple's in-store price. Or the online quote, If Apple’s own stores Managers are going to actively advise (me) a customer ready to buy, to buy elsewhere rather than solve a customer service issue, it really does make more sense for one to give your business to other retailers that sale the same product (as you get same warranty). Apple your sales logic makes no sense other than exploiting a customer an being greedy as this premium product from any other supplier is online order only (not stocked) but they can order and sell cheaper then the actual store.

Awful customer service - 2 weeks without airpods and counting

Worse customer service. Airpods (only 6 months old) have been in repair for 2 weeks. Been given different stories for delay - 1. repair centre physically moved location & 2. availability of parts. Finally advised 2 days ago I would be sent a replacement pair and they were just waiting UPS tracking number. been told today that I havent received them or the UPS tracking number because they are waiting for replacement parts that are due in 2 business days (which given its friday in reality to me means 4 days). I have always been an apple customer with one of the main reasons being the customer serivce prior to this experience. So that will be me leaving apple then.

I recently purchased a new iPad from Apple. During the online purchase I requested to securely recycle my old iPad. I expected to receive return instructions by email. I have heard nothing. On contacting apple the say that I can only recycle at a shop. I would not have purchased online from apple had i known this.

Poor poor service

Poor poor service. Brought an apple iphone 17 on 30 th April, did not turn up. Re-ordered... again after being told the dpd driver had lost it!
Had to collect new phone from closest store... 60 miles away.
New phone worked for 1 month. Camera decided to not work.. had to go to store... again. Booked in for repair to be told staff were sick and they couldn't do it. Absolute crap service on the phone... they would not answer at Sheffield and technical support kept repeating what had already been diagnosed at the store the week before. Apple - get a grip and provide a service that is worthy for a customer who pays for the care plan aswell. ABSOLUTE JOKE

Apple devices (including Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds)

I have bought Apple devices since my first iPad and my first iPhone and my first Apple TV and my first Mac Mini and all were overpriced and a disappointment. In particular, the wired earbuds supplied with my first iPhone were laughably useless.

Now in 2026, locked in the Apple Ecosystem for decades, but avoiding the comically overpriced and legendarily rubbish earbuds (now sold separately of course), I used JLab noise cancelling earphones for years and years.

The JLab was quite bulky and over time did now sit securely so I made the choice to Go Apple and try their top of the range Noise Cancelling earbuds.

Biggest mistake yet. Do not under any circumstances buy these. They are wildly expensive and as useful as a chocolate teapot. Apple truly couldn’t care less about their customers since this is just junk. AVOID

Disgusted potential Apple buyer

Be very aware when purchasing Apple products if you get to the “confirm payment” page but it won’t send you on to it. This happened to me today when purchasing an iPad. I went to live chat and was told to try again in an hour. I left it 30 minutes and when I tried to complete the purchase I found the product had increased by £150. They had obviously stopped my purchase so the prices could be increased. They should have honoured my purchase at the old price as my product was already made and components bought at old price. If I’d been in a store midway through a purchase I’m sure their price would have stayed the same. I’m really surprised disappointed and disgusted that a company like Apple can treat their customers this way. Not a good advert.

Apple takes advantage of over payments by customers by referring to fine print in agreement

My wife and I bought thought Apple TV was a good choice to add to our streaming devices on ourTV
So we decided to move forward and obtain Apple TV.
The problem arose when we reviewed all our expenses for 2025 in preparing our income tax return .
We are both in our late 70’s and have limited income to live on .
We noticed when we made the decision to obtain Apple TV both my wife and I obtained it.
So when we discovered that Apple TV was obtaining double payments for the last 16 months we contacted them.
They acknowledged that we had been remitting double payments to them for the past 16 months a refunded 4 months to us .
They said “ we don’t go back more than 4 months for adjustments .
Here is my issue, Apple is a multi TRILLON dollar company and they have the technology to determine when customers are not paying them.
But they also have the technology to determine when errors are being made and a customer is paying double payments for the same service .
They refused to refund us the charges that were overpaid to them for the year
They referred to the fine print in the Apple TV uses that I am sure no one read that refers to their limit of reimbursement for over payments .
We are just one couple nearing 80 living in a fixed income so all we can do is cancel Apple TV which we did and sadly absorb our losses from a TRILLION dollar company that through the fine print takes advantage of good customers that made double payments on the same account .
Perhaps others might join in in cancelling their Apple contracts and agreements

Zero stars

Zero stars. Apple used a so-called “free trial” flow that immediately charged my card, then support acted like I was supposed to calmly wait while they held my money. That unauthorized charge left me stranded with my children, and Apple’s response was delays, scripts, and no urgent help. Completely unacceptable billing practices and awful customer support.
