The staff treat you like a human and not another customer, like it's business as usual there was a mix up with my hire car but it was sorted promptly and the lady even asked if my youngest daughter enjoyed her first holiday which I appreciated, on collecting the car I was in and out fairly quickly and on returning the car I was in and out fairly quickly. I have hired from multiple places but since I discovered Arnold clarke car hire I have only ever hired from these I think this is the 4th or 5th time I have hired from this exact place and never had a problem, I also think the pricing is really reasonable for the cars I have never hired a van.

At the airport, calling the shuttlebus was easy with the provided telephone number, nice and helpfull staff. At the register a lovely vibe, understanding and good informstion. The car itself was lovely, clean and modern. It really lifted our holiday to a higher level! After the hire, everthing was transparent and handled perfectly, even when I pointed out a minor inconvenience with the tire pressure during the week; they immediately took the info to check it for the next renter. The shuttlebus back was smooth, definitely worth it. Can highly recommend this company and we will definitely hire again from here! Shout out to the Manchester M22 Airport crew!

Arnold Clark is the best car rental company
Arnold Clark is the best car rental company I have used so far and I've used quite a few. The entire staff is friendly, approachable, and trustworthy; the pricing is fair, and the rental process is completely transparent and clear regarding what is and isn't included. Their zero-excess insurance is reasonably priced and covers almost everything—unlike other companies—and the cars are modern and in excellent condition.
I must highlight the excellent personal service provided by all the employees, upon arrival, they offered us coffee and tea while the paperwork was being processed. Even though my English is very basic, they made a real effort to explain all the rental terms, translating any concepts I didn't quite understand. They walked me out to the car to check its condition and noted a minor blemish they spotted, they also explained the basic controls and answered my questions about the vehicle. Returning the car was another great experience, we were treated very kindly, and while we had another coffee and tea, they inspected the vehicle and confirmed everything was perfect. They even offered to drive us to the train station a gesture we really appreciated, as it was a bit of a walk and very hot outside.
In short, Arnold Clark is one of the best car rental companies out there; they are friendly, approachable, and trustworthy. I would definitely rent a car from them again.
