Very good quality clothes
I went to the opening of the Pop Store in Paris this Summer. The shop was very cute, and the staff were very welcoming. They took the time to explain the brand's approach and the meaning of the name. The clothes are truly beautiful, from very good quality fabrics and natural ! The items are not cheap, but if you want to treat yourself with a nice basic item, I highly recommend this brand.

hidden costs, delayed refund, quality no better than zara
I usually buy 6 or 7 pieces from online retailers, and send back the clothes that don't fit. I did this with ArtKnit, and didn't notice the tiny warning at checkout that the company passes on the cost of customs to the customer. That ended up being $200. I found the quality of the clothes very poor for their price (no better than fast fashion) so I sent them back. It took a month, and multiple emails before they refunded the money. The company also deducted their own customs cost of $70, charged when the clothes re-entered Italy. That means it cost me $270 to try on poor quality clothes. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Regarding shipping to the US, we do our best to be as transparent as possible: our Shipping Policy clearly states that for orders over $800, customs duties apply in accordance with U.S. import regulations. To further support our customers, we also display this information explicitly at checkout, to ensure full visibility even if the policy hasn't been reviewed beforehand.
As for the return process, we're genuinely sorry that there were delays at customs on the way back. We want to clarify that when a return request is initiated through our website, it’s clearly communicated that the return shipping cost is $29.9 and that any potential customs duties upon re-entry are the customer’s responsibility. This is something we highlight upfront to avoid surprises later in the process.
We're truly saddened that the product quality didn’t meet your expectations. While we aim to deliver high standards in both design and materials, we respect your perspective and take your comments seriously.

Some tops in size m seem to be too…
Some tops in size m seem to be too large and others in size s too small. So I am not certain what size to take. Although I do understand that the fabric does not stretch, I need to take a size up, and accept that it does not look as good. The quality is good however! Also, the tops in white are see-through, you can see my bra through the top.

Outdated: Pay for Shipping and Returns
rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. Artknit is the only online store I know that charges customers for both the original shipping and the return — even if the product doesn’t fit. In today’s e-commerce world, this is simply outdated and not customer-friendly.
To make matters worse, they’ve chosen GLS as their shipping provider in Germany — one of the most unreliable delivery services, with frequent delays and technical issues at drop-off points.
For a brand that positions itself as premium and charges high prices, the customer service and logistics are seriously lacking. The overall experience feels poorly thought out and frustrating.

Exceptional feel, amazing quality, great looks.
The quality, looks and feeling of the Ultrasoft Wool sweaters are all amazing.
I have bought one from their shop in Roma and ordered another one online.
I've had quite a few woolen sweaters over the decades - and the ones from Artknit are definitely on the top in terms of how they feel and how they look.
For me, a significant argument is also that all garments are "Made in Italy".
When ordering online, the service is excellent and the delivery time very quick.
My sincerest recommendations! A five-star company with five-star products.

Very poor wool quality
I bought a Maglia con Cappuccio a Coste in Lana Cardata 3 weeks ago. After just a few uses, the sweater started piling and showing signs of wool deterioration. It looks as worn out as sweaters that are years old and have been used hundreds of times. Absolutely not the quality I would expect given the price!

We always recommend using a pilling comb to gently remove the pilling and then giving the sweater a wash—this should help improve the situation and prevent further pilling.
