The apartment’s amenities, cleanliness, and spaciousness are outstanding. The welcome gift—featuring wine, apple juice, and a basket of Cornish specialties—is exceptionally thoughtful and reflects the high quality associated with Aspects Holidays. Unfortunately, Tallant Road is very noisy during the day, and every footstep or noise from the apartment above can be heard clearly below. While this is a drawback, it is outweighed by the apartment's location and exceptional quality.

Fantastic holiday with friendly and helpful staff
Beautiful property, and the staff at Aspects Holidays go above and beyond from booking to arrival, answering questions on phone calls when l booked to keeping me informed leading up to the holiday and then we had trouble getting the key out of the key box when we arrived and a member of staff quickly arrived to help, will certainly use this company again.

Wouldn't use again.
Sent a lengthy email about a property in St Ives that was far from advertised.
The tilled floor was FILTHY and quite clearly hadn't been cleaned properly for some time as just walking on it in socks turned them black!
Various things around the property that either didn't work or were in poor condition and we were the first people to report it according to them which I find hard to believe.
I've also noticed AH don't publish honest reviews for the properties that they're asking feedback for, why ask for it then?
More frequent inspections of properties are needed rather than relying on the housekeepers feedback that just want to be in and out as quickly as possible.

We understand how disappointing it is when a property falls short of the standards you were expecting and we are sorry that we did not have the opportunity to address any of these at the start of your stay so that you could have enjoyed your experience there more.
We also recognise your concerns regarding guest reviews. We value honest feedback, as it helps both future guests and our teams. We would like to reassure you that all reviews are published on our website except for a very small number that break our guidelines. We have a small team of people who read through EVERY questionnaire and review and personally respond to any that need it, so during the busier months (from Easter to the end of September), sadly, there can be a delay in these going live. Your review is now also live on our website.

A home away from home
We have stayed in the Old Forge on many occasions previously and keep coming back. We love it here.
The house is clean, well maintained and equipped to give you a “home from home” feeling. There is a parking spot outside the house which is easy to reverse into.
St Buryan is a lovely village which has a well-stocked shop, a pub, a cafe and a church. About a mile and half outside the village is a farm shop which has lots of local produce and a cafe. People in the village are very friendly and helpful. The village is a short drive away from scenic coast path walks and fabulous beaches.
We were blessed with warm sunshine during our stay in July. However, we have stayed in the house during the different seasons and have always felt cosy and warm. We’ve booked to stay again later this year.
