I think £34.50 for a puncture repair ( small screw in middle of tread) has to be the most expensive ever ????
The notice board said puncture repairs cost started at £21.95 , and apparently a further £10 for balancing plus vat...
I think gross overcharge for 30 min work , definately would not use again or recommend ...

ATS Cleckheaton - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Terrible service and won’t put things right.

Went to get a full set of tires changed as my new car had a mismatched set of basically brand new Yokohama’s & Michelin’s. Asked to have them back to as they had maximum 300 miles on them. Was told this was fine only to return an hour later that “the scrap man had taken them and we’ll order you some more and call you Friday so you can pick them up”.

Surprising no one - no call and I’m out nearly £400. Go anywhere else, don’t risk your money. Read other reviews this isn’t an isolated incident.

The staff are all very friendly and efficient. I was able to drive away again within an hour, very happy with the service I received that day.

I had ordered a new tyre, however the specific one was not available but I'd not given my contact details to ATS.
However on arrival the engineer offered to take a look and decided the puncture could, and was repaired within 40 mins, saving me about £100 and getting me back on the road

DO NOT TRUST! Staff tried to defraud me out of money for a new Catalytic converter and Lambda sensors. Car failed its MOT on emissions but it turns out it was the emissions testing equipment that was faulty. Not once did they inform me that my car had failed due to their faulty testing equipment but rather I had to do my own investigative work to establish this. Other cars failed around this same time and when asked if they planned on telling the other customers that they don’t need to buy new expensive catalytic converters and sensors - they replied “we probably will do yeah”. Wow! Cowboys don’t even do it justice. Also had to take my car for a new MOT elsewhere as they couldn’t even get the emissions machine fixed for over a week! STAY CLEAR

Ats is the go to company for an mot, I've had my last 4 mot's and can't fault the staff and service provided. Since the Huddersfield center shut I've been popping over to cleakheaton and the standard is exactly the same. Keep up the good work. See you next year.
