⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Outstanding service from Harold Wood Audi.

I recently took my Audi Q6 e-tron in with an intermittent charging fault affecting the passenger-side charging port. From start to finish, the service I received was exceptional.

A special thank you to Jodie Doy, who kept me informed throughout by both email and telephone. Her communication was excellent, always friendly, professional and proactive. I never had to chase for updates and felt fully informed at every stage of the process.

I would also like to thank Adam, the technician who worked on my vehicle. He carried out a thorough investigation, successfully reproduced the fault, identified that the vehicle required a major software update and then completed extensive testing of both AC and DC charging systems.

One thing I particularly appreciated was receiving a personalised video update showing my vehicle in the workshop, explaining the diagnostic process and confirming that a substantial software update was being installed. It was reassuring to see exactly what was happening with my car and demonstrated a level of transparency that is rarely seen.

The vehicle was then left charging overnight and underwent further testing the following morning to ensure the issue had been fully resolved before being returned to me.

When I collected the car, Jodie personally went through the report with me, answered my questions and accompanied me to the vehicle. The level of customer care genuinely exceeded my expectations.

Not only was the charging fault resolved, but the vehicle also received the latest software update and was returned to me fully charged.

Excellent customer service, excellent technical expertise and an excellent overall experience. Credit to Jodie, Adam and the entire team at Harold Wood Audi.

Highly recommended.

Repeated Faults, Repeated Visits, No Resolution

I have never left a negative review for a car manufacturer before, but my experience with Audi UK has been deeply disappointing.

My Audi Q6 e-tron has suffered from an ongoing alarm fault that Audi has been unable to resolve despite five separate visits to the dealership.

During one of those visits, the vehicle was retained for approximately three months while Audi waited for delivery of a replacement control unit. While I appreciated being provided with a courtesy vehicle, it is difficult to understand how a premium vehicle can spend such a significant amount of time off the road and still be returned with the underlying issue unresolved.

Over the course of ownership, components have been replaced, investigations have been carried out and countless hours have been spent arranging appointments, dropping the vehicle off and chasing updates. Despite all of this, the fault remains.

The most frustrating part is not that a fault occurred. Complex vehicles can develop issues. The frustration comes from the fact that after five opportunities to diagnose and repair the problem, Audi still appears unable to provide a permanent solution.

To be fair, the Executive Office team has remained in contact and has been courteous throughout the process. However, good communication does not compensate for the fact that the vehicle continues to suffer from the very issue it has repeatedly been returned to Audi to fix.

This is marketed as a premium vehicle from a premium manufacturer. My experience has been repeated workshop visits, months without the vehicle, unresolved faults and a growing loss of confidence in both the product and the brand.

Had someone told me when I collected the vehicle that it would require five repair attempts, spend three months in a workshop awaiting parts and still suffer from the same fault, I would have struggled to believe them.

I genuinely wanted to be an Audi customer for many years to come. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether I would purchase another Audi in the future.

Really dissatisfied with the service…

Really dissatisfied with the service I'm afraid. My E-Tron was booked in for an MOT, Service & Safety recall at Vindis Audi Northampton. Prior to the booking I was informed a courtesy car would be available.
When I dropped the car off I was then told the system would not let me take a courtesy car as I didn't have an up to date licence with me. I'd suggest that customers need to be informed of this during the booking process. I was left having to pay for a £90 taxi. I received a phone call later the same day to say my car was washed and ready to be picked up. Once I returned the following day the car had not been washed at all. Really disappointed with the overall service, I expected better from Audi.

⚠️ ⚠️ If you value your family’s health and safety, please read this review.

My family and I purchased an “Audi Approved” vehicle from Marshall Audi South East London. It turned out to be one of the most alarming and stressful experiences we have ever faced.

During the test drive, the air conditioning wasn’t working. I was assured it only needed a re-gas and was told the vehicle had passed Audi Approved checks and an MOT with no advisories.

After continued issues, I arranged an independent inspection through Audi Coulsdon. They identified multiple serious defects, including leaking coolant hoses, failed engine mounts, heating system faults, a failed Quattro system requiring a new rear differential, brake discs worn below MOT limits, and brake pads approximately 90% worn.

Most concerning of all, Audi Coulsdon discovered that the air conditioning system was leaking refrigerant gas into the vehicle cabin. I have video evidence of this.

This was not a simple air conditioning fault. My family, including my two young children, had been travelling in a vehicle later found to be leaking refrigerant gas into the passenger compartment. One of my children has chronic lung disease and has required 3 intensive care admissions this year alone. While I cannot at this time make any direct medical link, discovering that my family may have been exposed to leaking refrigerant gas in a vehicle sold as “Audi Approved” was absolutely horrifying.

Despite these serious issues, calls to the branch were ignored, emails went unanswered, and I eventually had to escalate the matter to Audi UK. The dealership’s proposed resolution was a buy-back offer significantly below what we paid, despite us covering only around 5,000 miles in 13 months.

I still struggle to understand how a vehicle with numerous major defects — including a refrigerant gas leak into the cabin and brakes below MOT limits — was sold as “Audi Approved.”

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Marshall Audi South East London to obtain an independent inspection and not rely solely on Approved Used checks or MOT assurances.

A disgraceful experience from a main Audi dealership.

Brand new Audi Q4 E-tron

Brand new Audi Q4 E-tron, 3 weeks into ownership and the battery/electrics have gone! Been in the local Audi dealer for over two weeks and they have only just contacted me to say they haven’t got a clue as to what’s wrong with it nor do they seem to care about it.

£50k on a car and you would expect it to be worth the money, will never buy another Audi, customer service is non existent from Audi Assistance and the local garage

SHOCKING LEEDS

SHOCKING LEEDS - Less than 24 hours after having my bumper repaired, a very minor incident (at less than 2 mph) exposed what appears to be extremely poor workmanship. The damage sustained was wholly disproportionate to the nature of the incident, which raises serious concerns about the standard of the repair carried out.

Following this, I sought advice from three Audi-approved garages. All independently identified issues consistent with substandard workmanship and advised that I return the vehicle to the original repairer.

In addition, I am disappointed with the customer service I received. A manager contacted one of the garages but appeared reluctant to take responsibility or provide meaningful assistance. This interaction left me feeling dismissed rather than supported as a customer. Furthermore, I was kept waiting for 20 minutes, seemingly due to a meeting being prioritised over addressing my concerns, which added to my frustration.

Given the circumstances, I would appreciate:
- A full investigation into the quality of the repair carried out
- Appropriate remedial work to be completed to a proper standard
- Clarification on how this situation will be resolved
- Assurance that customer concerns will be handled more professionally in the future

I have always associated Audi with high standards of quality and service, which makes this experience particularly disappointing.

I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution

Premium Brand, Poor Customer Experience

My experience with Audi UK has been extremely disappointing and has fallen far below the standards I would expect from a premium automotive brand.

My Audi Q6 broke down on 26 April 2026 and was taken to Coventry Audi for repairs(25 plate new car registered on August 2025). What followed was weeks of frustration, poor communication, and a complete lack of ownership of the issues that arose.

The vehicle remained in the workshop for approximately three weeks. During this time, I continued paying my monthly lease cost of around £525 despite being unable to use my vehicle. I also had to rely on taxis and public transport to travel to and from work, resulting in additional personal expense and inconvenience.

A major issue arose regarding a rental vehicle provided through Enterprise Rent-A-Car. After numerous phone calls and emails, a senior member of staff at Coventry Audi assured me that Audi would cover the additional rental costs beyond the initial period. I relied on this assurance and kept the vehicle for the agreed additional days.

Unfortunately, the payment was never made. Enterprise informed me that they had attempted to contact Audi multiple times without success. As a result, £297.57 was unexpectedly debited from my personal bank account. I only discovered this when reviewing my bank statement.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the Audi employee who provided the assurance has since left the company, leaving me with no clear point of contact and no accountability for the commitment that was made.

The problems did not end there. When I collected my vehicle from Coventry Audi, I discovered a dent on the driver's door that I am confident was not present when the vehicle was handed over. I immediately reported this to the service advisor and was told that someone would contact me. Despite numerous follow-up emails and phone calls, I have received no response and no update regarding the damage.

Throughout this entire process, communication has been extremely poor. I have spent countless hours chasing updates, making phone calls, sending emails, and trying to coordinate between Audi, the dealership, Enterprise, and NHS Fleet Solutions. As a customer, I should not have to act as the project manager for resolving issues that arose while my vehicle was in Audi's care.

Audi promotes itself as a premium brand, but a premium brand is defined not only by the quality of its vehicles but also by how it treats customers when problems occur. Unfortunately, my experience has been characterised by poor communication, lack of accountability, unresolved issues, unexpected financial costs, and a complete absence of customer-focused support.

I sincerely hope Audi UK reviews how cases like this are handled and takes steps to improve communication, accountability, and customer care so that other customers do not have to go through a similar experience.

Audi UK customer experience

I have a new Q6 and the car is lovely to look at and specifiction spot on.. if only they worked to the standard you'd expect. Within 3 days of having my new Q6 delivered I had issues with the entertainment screen. I had to book into the nearest dealership for them to recitfy the issue - all they did was confirm my email address and typed a few bits on their computer. I had to take the time of work to do this as the services are not available at the weekend - why this couldn't have been completed virtually?!

Now within 1 month of receiving my car, my boot will not open - I have to manually force this to open and whilst the close works automatically it does not shut properly. I have to manually force shut it by putting my weight on the boot lid until it clicks.

I have spent the last few days trying to contact someone to book it in and still waiting. I leave voicemails and they don't get returned.

I work full time and I can only imagine everyone owning these top end cars will be the same. Services etc are restricted to Monday to Friday during working hours. That is no good for us. I can't take the time off to bring my car to the showroom. The hefty amount of money we are paying for these cars we deserve the quality customer service. Let them come to us. Let them come to our workplace and fix the problem. Let them come to our home when it's convenient to us. Audi needs to be more responsible for looking after existing customers. I had a mercedes before this audi. Merceded brand new and not one single issue with it. I will not be buying another Audi and I will not encourage anyone else within my family/friends to buy an audi. I want to return the car back, but I am stuck with it for 3 years.

I took my car to Marshall Audi South…

I took my car to Marshall Audi South East London, two weeks ago and clearly reported an issue with the air conditioning system. After carrying out your inspection/check-up, your team advised that repairs were required and requested my approval to proceed. I paid £277 specifically for the air conditioning repair.

After collecting the vehicle, I did not immediately test the AC. However, when the weather became warmer and I finally used it, I discovered that the air conditioning was still not working at all. In other words, I paid for a repair that appears not to have been completed properly — or potentially not completed at all.

For the last three days, I have been trying to arrange an appointment to resolve an issue that should never have existed after a paid repair. Shockingly, your own staff have been unable to contact their own service department, and therefore cannot even confirm whether I will receive a complimentary follow-up appointment for a failed repair.

To make matters worse, I was initially offered 2 June as the earliest appointment, which has now moved to 18 June, despite this being a direct consequence of a repair that I already paid for. Even now, nobody can confirm whether this will be inspected or corrected free of charge.

This level of service is completely unacceptable for a premium brand such as Audi. The lack of accountability, poor communication, inability to access your own service team, and failure to resolve a paid repair have seriously damaged my trust. Frankly, this experience has left me questioning whether the other work or parts reportedly repaired or replaced on my vehicle were genuinely carried out.

What should have been a straightforward service visit has turned into a frustrating, time-consuming, and deeply disappointing experience.

As a direct result of this experience, we have lost confidence in the Audi brand and have decided not to proceed with purchasing another Audi vehicle.

I expect Audi UK to investigate this matter seriously and provide an immediate resolution.

Audi Wolverhamton Stratstone…awful

Audi Wolverhamton Stratstone …..Extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Audi regarding my Audi e-tron GT.

My vehicle has now been off the road for over three weeks with:

* no confirmed repair completion date,
* no clear ETA for parts,
* no equivalent courtesy vehicle provided,
* and very limited communication throughout.

Despite repeated requests, I’ve had little more than occasional updates and empty assurances from the case manager, with no real ownership or urgency shown by either the dealership or Audi UK.

For a premium brand, the level of customer care has been extremely poor. Being left without a suitable replacement vehicle for this length of time is completely unacceptable, especially given the value and positioning of the car.

I have now been forced to formally escalate the matter to senior management and am considering further action due to the ongoing inconvenience, lack of support, and failure to provide a satisfactory resolution.

I sincerely hope Audi improves the way it handles situations like this, because the experience has fallen far below expectations.

Audi Crewe

Audi Crewe
Bought a 2023 Audi A4
Vorsprung 45 TFSI quattro 265, Communication from Audi Crewe was excellent while I was discussing the purchase over the phone, especially as I was travelling over 250 miles to buy the car. On arrival, I met with the salesperson and took the vehicle for a test drive. The car had just been washed and was still wet, so I did not notice any issues with the paintwork at the time.

However, the following day, when washing the car myself, I discovered a large scratch on the rear panel which had clearly been missed or not disclosed before collection.

I was also misled regarding the road tax. The advert stated the annual tax was £200, but I later had to pay over £600 due to the vehicle originally costing over £40,000 when new. I have kept copies of the advert and webpages as evidence and will be contacting Trading Standards regarding this misleading information.

In addition, the car was advertised as having received a 40,000-mile service. After checking the vehicle myself, I found the air filter and pollen filter were both heavily clogged with dirt and clearly had not been replaced. I also noticed the service records appear to have been logged in kilometres rather than miles.
(to this date not changed after letting them know)

I emailed management several times with photographs, requesting reimbursement for the filters and compensation for the incorrect tax information. Initially, they acknowledged receipt of my emails, but since then they have stopped responding entirely and seem to be hoping the matter will simply go away.

Very disappointing experience after travelling such a long distance and placing trust in the dealership. Also found that the sales lacks any knowledge in the cars that they sell being a Vorsprung they should have been telling me all about the extras this car has but no just sign the paperwork.

I'll make it brief...

I'll make it brief. Like a dog with a stick when you approach them about a car, but when you don't fit into their sales narrative, they can't be bothered. This isn't just one branch in particular, it's everywhere. Add to confusion of franchising and there are another set of rules. Either you want to sell a car and make the customers happy, or you think about selling something less challenging instead. PLEASE STOP with the old school selling techniques and start understanding people have budgets, criteria etc. Also PLEASE get staff to know about Audi's before selling and not have to quiz them on important things like, gearbox service, haldex, etc. In the 10 years of owning German cars, I've yet to find a dealer that actually truly cares about their customers pre and post sales. I go to independent garages for services etc, because the levels of care, etc is better. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS ON HERE AUDI and do better...

*UPDATE*
Put a deposit down in Macclesfield Audi and explained that I was transferring the total price for the Audi TT from a high interest, savings account and potentially it may take an extra day/ weekend to go into the current account. "Oh yes it's ok we'll look after you, it's yours, we know you want it, customers are our priority, we'll deliver it free, etc" What absolute rubbish. I received a voicemail on the Sunday to say it had been sold on the Saturday. Does that honestly sound right?? Because I'd say that's pretty deceitful. You'd think that practices would change over the years and businesses would have higher standards, but clearly not. PROFIT OVER PEOPLE. Plain and simple. I have the emails and WhatsApps to prove it...
I also had to chase them for my deposit too. Terrible...

Would never get an Audi again!. We have always had Audis and had a good service. 50k car and nothing but problems.

Epsom Audi customer was a joke. Took it in when under warranty to get it sorted to be told not a problem with it everytime!….

Take it to someone else who finds the problem and we have to pay to fix it because so called Audi specialists don’t know what they are doing. Worse car company and will never use again!

I purchased my car from Audi Norwich

I purchased my car from Audi Norwich, and it developed a fault within just three months. Following that, it took an unacceptable five months to have the issue resolved, during which I incurred my own costs. To make matters worse, I was offered no compensation or goodwill gesture from the company or the showroom to rectify the situation. I am extremely disappointed with this lack of care and accountability.

I am writing to formally express my…

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the handling of my vehicle issue and the overall customer experience I have received from your service department.

My Audi has been experiencing serious drivetrain and braking-related warning issues which may affect vehicle safety. Despite leaving the vehicle with your service team, the situation still remains unclear and unresolved.

The biggest issue, however, has been the communication and professionalism throughout the process.

I have now been told multiple times that:

“You will definitely be called tomorrow”

“The master technician will inspect the vehicle”

“We will provide an update”

Yet, despite these promises, nobody contacts me. This has now happened repeatedly. In most cases, I am forced to chase the service department myself, and even then it is extremely difficult to get through by phone.

When I finally manage to speak to someone, the only response I receive is another apology without any real progress or clear explanation.

I was informed that the team suspects the main battery may be the cause of the issue. When I explained that the high-voltage battery should have an 8-year warranty, I was told that it “might not be covered under warranty.” I do not understand what this statement was based on, as no proper diagnosis or technical explanation has been shared with me.

Additionally, when I requested the diagnostic reports, I was told words to the effect of:“If we give you the reports, you may get the vehicle repaired elsewhere.”

I find this extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable from an Audi-approved dealership.

Furthermore, the atmosphere inside the service department has felt disorganised and unprofessional during my visits, which has only reduced my confidence in the process even more.

At this point, I genuinely feel disappointed with the level of service provided and, unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in both the dealership and the Audi brand itself.

I would now like:

A clear written update regarding the current diagnosis

Confirmation of whether the high-voltage battery issue is covered under warranty

A copy of all diagnostic reports relating to my vehicle

Proper communication moving forward without repeated unfulfilled promises

I hope this matter can finally be handled professionally and resolved properly.

Stockport Audi Manchester

Brilliant experience with stockport Audi and Sales associate Jacob Marsden who was really helpful and proactive and super responsive to all my queries even after sale was completed.
He was friendly and approachable and made the whole process super easy, having attended with my four year old son, Jacob was great with him and made him feel part of the process and my son was thrilled with the complimentary Audi Remote control car. Jacob was very kind in ensuring my older son also didnt miss out. Any queries about the car were quickly addressed and it was really reassuring to have someone so supportive and who knew what he was doing throughout what can be a stressful process.
If i had to buy another car, i would recommend Jacob as someone to help with the process and will be recommending him to my family and friends.

Very poor service

I have an Audi q5 bought with a warranty from Marshalls in Canterbury . It is still under warranty . Last Friday 15th May I rang them to report a warning light indicator - orange engine light . I was placed through to a call
Centre I couldn’t speak to “my” garage and was told the nearest available slot was the 1 July . The operator couldn’t tell whether it was was ok to drive around with the warning light on or not but did say if a red light came on or it flashes I should pull in to the side of the road and call break down cover .
Given the car is under warranty and bought second hand from a reputable dealership under the Audi brand just over a year ago a six and a half week delay to even have a diagnostic check run on the car is extraordinary . Very disappointing and a poor reflection on what should be regarded as a reliable brand .

DO NOT use Chingford AUDI

I have been an Audi customer for 22 years and have purchased five brand-new Audi TTs over that time, three of them from Chingford Audi, including my most recent car costing over £80,000. Unfortunately, the customer service experience has deteriorated significantly.

Despite my long loyalty, Chingford Audi have now effectively told me to take my business elsewhere because I raised repeated concerns and left honest low review scores after ongoing service failures.

The latest issue relates to repeated speaker failures. I am now on the third speaker replacement in three years, yet when I asked for a full investigation into what is clearly an underlying fault with the sound system, I was told I was using the system “to capacity” and further checks were refused. An unbelievable response for a premium brand.

My most recent experience was unacceptable. I waited at the dealership for over four hours after being told the replacement part had arrived and the repair had been approved under warranty. The part had been ordered in January, arrived in February, and I even received confirmation emails beforehand. On the day, Ryan photographed the fault himself, yet after 4.5 hours I was suddenly told the warranty had still not been approved. I left without the repair completed and was also left without my car for the entire following day.

The warranty terms clearly state:

Take the car to the dealership — done

Contact warranty provider — done

Order the part — done

Only afterwards was I told that warranty approval was still pending, which simply was not made clear at the time.

To make matters worse, since the last replacement on 02/04/26, two more speakers have failed. Instead of addressing the obvious ongoing issue, their response has simply been: “Go to another dealership.”

I am currently considering purchasing a new Audi RS7, but it certainly will not be through Chingford Audi. In fact, after this experience, I may switch brands altogether and move to Mercedes.

I have repeatedly asked for the rationale behind their decision and treatment of a loyal long-term customer, but no response has been provided.
