Pick up and drop off was easy. The car had a number of pre-existing dings and scratches, and somehow another was added to a rear vision mirror. No problem, (yet).

This is a very small operation and when…
This is a very small operation and when we got there, it took us over 20 to hear back from the shuttle driver who stated she was the only one working on that day. When we got to the office/ car lot, she jumped off the vehicle, opened the office and took care of us after helping other customers that were outside waiting to return a vehicle and taking phone calls.
We booked through Dircovery Car Rentals who we then learned was a broker to who we paid the additional insurance but Automania stated if something happened, we were to paid them for any damages directly and then work with Discovery to recover our money.
Once we got our vehicle, we were rushed out as the lady had to run out to the airport to drive the customers that were waiting at the office plus pick other arriving customers up.
I am glad there were no issues at the end that would have forced me to pay out of pocket and then try to recover my money through the broker.
Next timevI will use a well known company

During busy periods, especially when we are operating with limited staff, we do our best to assist all customers as efficiently as possible, including airport transfers, returns, and pickups, but we understand this can sometimes impact the overall experience.

Everything worked out fine, pick up at the airport, getting the car, returning it and back to the airport. Had to call the pick up guy, but that was no problem at all.

Top quality car hire
Swift top quality service even out of hours. Polite and helpful staff, airport shuttle link frequent and fast. Car was new, very clean and dent free although not the exact model we asked for it was in same class and fine. Return process was very slick and no quibbles about odd scratches on wheel trims etc which are almost unavoidable in Sicily!
