Ava Bracelet Reviews 

They are restructuring their customer support. Translation they will never respond to you. I purchased a bracelet with a 6 month money back guarantee and they will not answer me to get the money back. Terrible customer service.

So I think this is a great concept and is super helpful when it works. I don’t like that you cannot turn off Bluetooth. The band itself is flimsy and the little straps that hold the excess wrist strap break very easily. Sometimes the watch doesn’t pick up and track even though it’s fully charged, worn in the right position, worn tightly enough, etc. Unfortunately mine broke before the warranty was up and I was sent a new one. That was a positive on the customer service side. I was happy to have a replacement. However that one after a few cycles had issues as well. I was told to make sure the sensors were clean, they were. That they shouldn’t get any water on them- they never are near water. I need to wear it tightly enough and on the right spot. Nothing had changed on my end. Randomly one day it just started working again. Then again this one the the bands that hold the excess strap broke. Then finally the adjustable latch that puts the straps at the right size broke off. So now it is unusable completely and no longer under warranty. I wish this product was more durable, that you could turn off Bluetooth, and worked consistently. I’ll be looking into the oura ring as a replacement.

I do not do reviews but this is the most genuine review and much deserved I have been trying to get pregnant for 9 months and had no luck and I use the ava bracelet for just one full cycle and im officially pregnant! I am 38 and didnt think it would ever happen

The watch itself is super cheap and badly made. Watch band loop broke off immediately and then the holes in the band started to break down after 3 months. For the amount that this watch costs, the product is really badly made. The app is glitchy, doesn’t hold charge. It will give you an N/A rating often and it’s hard to then track your progress. Don’t waste your time and money

Bracelet is CHEAP and breaks easily. The loops to hold the extra band down broke within 2 months. The plastic case for the device also broke after a few months of use so the top can pop off. In contrast, I have had the same fitbit watch and tracker for 4 years and I JUST had to replace the band due to the loop breaking and I've never had a problem with the device housing. I'm not careless with my possessions- this thing is just really cheaply made.

App logs me out and resets settings every month or so which is annoying. Not sure the algorithm is any better than LH strips and seems to be off by a few days some cycles. It's nice to have a record and predictions and the calendar view is designed well. The plot display for temp could be better and doesn't reflect nuanced changes on the scale they choose.

There's also not a great way to track or incorporate LH tests into your predictions, or add a photo of the test to compare past cycles to. You can record an LH positive but that's as nuanced as it gets.

I wouldn't have bought this if it wasn't covered by my insurance. I wouldn't recommend this tracker to a friend. It's fine, but I think there are more well made trackers out there with better UI experiences for the money.

I have enjoyed not having to remember to take my temperature daily, and I got pregnant so I consider this a helpful tool

I’ve been very impressed with Ava from the start: really easy to use, great intuitive data tracking, useful articles. The only thing that could do with improving is the robustness of the actual device - my strap broke twice in 6 months. However the customer service has been fantastic and I can’t fault how quick and helpful they’ve been at resolving the issue.

I had issues with my Ava Bracelet and honestly started to hate the product. I reached out to the customer service and they were so kind and understanding. They helped me figuring out all the issues and in the end I needed a new Bracelet. I’m now loving it and I’m very thankful that I got all the support I needed.

They were always fast in replying and it felt like they really cared.

I've used it consistently for 6 months in order to become pregnant. Prediction of ovulation was correct.

Removing 1 star because the braclet band is cheap and the little loops to hold the bands together both broke by 3 months.

Another star removed because it is a garbage pregnancy tracker. If you input the conception date (which is in your data! And more accurate that 1st day of last period) it starts acting like conception date is date of last period, so 4 weeks behind. Stupid.
And having to toggle back and forth between week groups is annoying, particularly when the scale for your data increases/decreases is visually different from month to month. Expected much better after the TTC interface was so good.

While I love all of the data Ava records and predicts, there are a few things that I do not love. For one, the durability of the the Ava Bracelet band is rather poor. It is a rubber texture that breaks/wares easily. Within 5 months, the straps that the band slid into to keep in place both broke. Still can wear it, but it is a bit frustrating. Also you have to be sure to close the app everyday after synching so the date can be set to the correct date the next day - or else you may accidentally synch to yesterday’s date and then lose your data for the night because it will glitch. Also sometimes Ava will flash purple and say there is data that needs to be synch when you are off to bed, but there actually isn’t. It is another glitch. Your app will up to date, and the firmware up to date, and it will still glitch. Sometimes will say it is not charged when it has been charging ALL DAY. Also I have compared Ava’s prediction to ovulation testing with the Clear Blue Ovulation tests, and Clear Blue says I am in the fertile window about four days after Ava does. So not entirely accurate after using for a few months.

Perhaps, do your self a favor and just go buy a new Apple Watch Series 8 which predicts ovulation through apple health; the watch costs $329 and has obviously MORE features. Unless you are wanting to use your HSA to pay for Ava or you don’t have an iPhone/Apple products.

The bracelet came with a screw missing so the reader would often fall out, I received a replacement for the band and screws but shortly after the bracelet wouldn’t stay charged and would die in the middle of the night therefore the data couldn’t be loaded to the app. I reached the customer service support and they advised me to re-pair it because I can’t get my money back once I open their product (even if it doesn’t work). It’s has been a very frustrating experience. The bracelet isn’t even worth $50

I love the product overall because it's the best way to track your basal body temperature. However, syncing my data was finicky. There were times when I wore my band, and it couldn't sync my temperature in the morning. Also, after 9 months, the band broke on me. I think the band can be a little more robust. However, the customer service was phenomenal; they mailed me a new band at no cost, fast. I was impressed by their customer service. When I first received my product, I accidentally pulled the white cap off my gadget, unintentionally. I thought I broke it out of the box. This is another issue with the build quality, however, I was able to snap it back together, with no problem. Overall the technology works and gets you the data you need to understand your cycle. I got a positive pregnancy test literally a year after ordering my Ava. I was starting to doubt the product, but as it guarantees, I was able to get pregnant within one year. I certainly recommend the product.

One month into using my Ava watch and I just found out I'm pregnant! Knowing your fertile window makes a huge difference. I had a little mishap with my watch at first and contacted support - they were incredible and got me a new watch so quickly. They made it so easy. I can't recommend the Ava enough!

Great product and tech, fantastic support. Have used for over 3 years and conceived two babies using Ava.

This bracelet is a piece of trash. Of the 12 days I’ve worn it so far, it’s only produced an reading 3 times. The rest are error messages or other glitches. I’ve been careful to charge as directed, to wear it in the right way, but it’s just impossible. If you position it slightly wrong and try to move it, it’ll stop registering and need another 12 hours of charge before it recognizes you. It’s just terrible. And the app is glitchy. Honestly, it’s setting back my fertility journey.

I love the bracelet and I thought it was pretty accurate in tracking.

The cycle tracking works incredibly well. We've used Ava for both our pregnancies and conceived during my first cycle both times. Telling us when I was highly fertile obviously made all the difference for us!

I really enjoyed using my Ava and I don’t think I would have gotten pregnant nearly as fast without it! My Ava helped me discover I ovulate unusually late in my cycle. Thanks to Ava, we got pregnant after only two months of trying. The key to the Ava is consistency, though. There are occasionally technical glitches but they didn’t affect the overall experience/success though.
