Save your time and get another editor
I've been using it for over 2 months and I'm about to have a mental breakdown because how shit it is. Just trying to finish my last video and I'll start using DaVinci. Freezes and crashes every 2 minutes, its slow as shit, basic editing tools, ugly fonts and transitions. Feels like working with a software in 2010. Totally don't recommend.

Long Time Customer Moving On - Buyer Beware
I've been a long-time user of AVS4YOU (2012), but I hadn't used AVS for a while. I knew I had an unlimited license and thought I could return to it at any time. Well, I was wrong. Recently, I acquired a new computer and needed the AVS tools I had previously used. When I went to reinstall my software, I was met with a screen stating I had violated their License Agreement for attempting to install on multiple computers. Reaching out to support was no help, as they threw their License Agreement in my face, basically stating I should have read the fine print. The term "unlimited" license is misleading, as it limits you to 1 PC forever. Who shells out hundreds of dollars for a 1x install? Additionally, with my unlimited license came support, but once they respond, there is no mechanism for me to respond back. So, don't bother trying to respond, because they are not interested. The response was fast but also so canned that it made me think they must receive this complaint often. In summary, I liked the tools, but I refuse to continue to invest hundreds of dollars in a company that SCAMS people like this. This company and its policies leave much to be desired, as they are primarily interested in generating revenue rather than providing effective customer service. I am moving on and finding a better product/company that suits my needs. AVS needs to re-evaluate its business model. Buyer Beware.

Unacceptably restrictive licence terms.
The software is great but the licence agreement forbids you uninstalling the software from an old computer ready for install on a new computer. Absolutely unacceptable especially as Microsoft has forced most of the World to buy new computers that run Windows 11!!

Best buy for the buck!
Well, this is freeware, or as in my case, an unlimited subscription at a very low cost. The programs are stable, fast and do all I need them to do. Amateur as I am.

Disappointing
I actually used AVS for many years. Over the past year I suffered some unfortunate PC crashes, some related to Windows 11 issues, others to hardware. When I asked AVS to be able to transfer my subscription over to a new PC, the response was negative and disappointing. AVS should have a more consumer - friendly approach on this and allow REG keys to be transferred in these situations. For this reason I am no longer a customer or user of AVS.
