"Unlimited" Subscription is not Unlimited
Similar to pretty much all the other complaints here, be aware that their "unlimited" subscription is not truly unlimited. They are expecting you to buy when you change to a new computer, regardless if your computer is broken, stolen, upgraded or any other reason. It's all tricky marketing and gimmicks to make you pay more each time.
Edited: Regarding the reply - Remember that the licensing term of "one PC only" were retrospectively included AFTER our subscription. If they can do that after our payment, nothing is stopping them to include worse terms than this (due to their "we can change the terms anytime" policy).

It would appear AVS4YOU will not accept an Unlimited Subscription when I had to change computers.
They do not reply to direct questions and do not acknowledge 15 years of use and unlimited subscriptions - be aware

I really enjoy AVS software even with its updates, which I can't say for some software out there. My only issues I have is stitching together videos that the VideoRemaker itself had created individually, it says they're different formats which is weird because both parts had been made there. Otherwise, the software has always been great to work with, a bit slow when rendering out, but hey it's software, right?

Repurchase "Unlimited Version" License Again?
Joke. Like others, I bought an AVS4You "Unlimited version" license and after dumping a broke PC, I requested a new activation code (required) for my new PC. Support insists that I'm required to buy another "Unlimited Version" license - something I already own. I declined to pay for this again. Their response was "We respect your decision". GOOD BYE "AVS4YOUrself".

Do not waste your money on AVS4YOU. The licence is linked to the computer, not the user/purchaser. So if you upgrade or have a computer damaged or stolen, you will have to buy a new licence for the new computer. Absolutely ridiculous licence condition.

Disappointing software with terrible tech support. The program crashed numerous times and the tech support was not timely in responding and them had the same answer, uninstall and reinstall the program.... to no avail. I would not recommend.
