Craig Morris was very helpful, and pointed me in the right direction, and I was able to fix the problem with a little simple maintenance. He also pointed me in the right direction to register the doors and windows, which I hadn't done previously.
From the initial enquiry, through the quotation to the survey, the design, and on to the installation, I found Bereco to be patient, in the face of our endless queries, thorough and competent.
It can be stressful, having workmen in every room of your home, but Lee and his team tried to keep the work areas clean and cause as little disruption as possible.
The windows are excellent: the weather-stripping is effective, the stained finish is flawless, and the required trickle vents are unobtrusive. We chose to have tilt and turn windows. With the windows opening inwards, all external parts can be cleaned, without having to climb a ladder - essential when you are in your seventies!
It is always possible to nitpick, and of course there were problems, but there was nothing which would cause me to give fewer than five stars.

Bereco were a joy to work with from start to finish. We had all of our windows and our back door replaced as a part of a full home renovation and couldn't be happier with the results. From the design to the customer service we've felt confident in Bereco's services. We've been using the products for 2 months now and absolutely love the windows and door - they are beautiful, sound-proof, draught-proof and I am confident they will be hard-wearing over the years to come.

10/10 all round, we wont hesitate to use them again in the future.
At all stages throughout the process of getting information, getting a quotation and dealing with queries, placing the order and organising delivery the staff were very polite, clear and professional.
The product arrived safely and has been admired by local skilled timber craftsmen.
Update. Following positive discussions with Bereco’s management an amicable agreement was reached and the defects rectified to our satisfaction. Happy to recommend as quality is great, but please ensure you comply with their terms of delivery and inspection or notify Bereco if you are unable to inspect, as this is not always possible, or even sensible to unwrap products that aren’t due to be installed for a while.
Beautiful door and frame but on removal of packaging 2 paint defects were identified and immediately reported to Bereco customer services with photographs.
Apparently the defects should have been reported within 5 days of delivery and because they weren’t it is now the customers problem.
Very expensive product with zero customer relations, in fact I have been made out to have lied and must have damaged the door during installation!
Despicable after sales service which is a shame as the door would be beautiful if not defective.

AVOID. Spent £40k on wood windows. Everything what could go wrong did go wrong:
6-8weeks leadtimes apparently were for manufacturing only, so please allow another 6-8 weeks for their visit, configuration, order quote and placement and then for installation queue due to them having only one team of installers, who spent in our home 10 days with one man working and the other two smoking.
Windows did not come as expected- prior to making an order we had sample brought to our home, however been installed damaged windows, chipped and cracked corners and with misalinged beadings.
From the very first day of intallation we raised concerns, but they assured that they will do snagging after installation, which never happened.
We had further three visits- one of installers, who said is unable to snag, then the manager, who also checked and confirmed the manufacturing fault, then director visited and concluded that quality control has not been checked prior to dispatch- factory in Poland. Offered three solutions, one of which was to repair on site ( our home again), the other to leave as it is or to replace the sashes ( our wanted option), which we went for- who on earth would want the brand-new windows having been repaired?
A year since- the director changed her mind and said that replacement is impossible as the colours will not match and have emailed us without prejudice letter, offering to leave it or repair.
So if you want to get into litigation, spend a fortune and get repaired windows – go for Bereco.
The director also confirmed that they get quite often missed windows, but it is insurance guaranteed. Meaning that you will end up with repairs and insurance claims if you use them.
We would highly recommend go for locals, whose Leadtimes are 12-13 weeks, but hopefully they will make it properly and you will support local business. Bereco is not cheaper, the leadtimes are misleading within their advertising. We will try trading standards and I will update you in due course.

Needed a replacement letterbox as one supplied with front door tarnished within a matter if weeks. Customer service very helpful. New letter box sent out within a week.
Outstanding wooden double glazed windows for a cottage restoration, look wonderful and high quality, Company so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble, will use again on next project.
