Your MOT is not only a requirement but, it is also imperative that you ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy and legal. At Jumbo Self Drive Limited, we aim to take the pain out of this annual chore. Whether you're looking to sell your car, have purchased a new one and need it checking out or if you just need an MOT test to keep on the road, we're here to help! Jumbo Self Drive Limited has been providing MOT Testing in Birdwell, Barnsley since 2014. Our business is testing cars. We are only a test centre - not a garage carrying out a few MOTs. As a result, we pride ourselves in carrying out a "fair" test and never push for additional servicing and repairs. Our customers range from general private car owner to car dealers and independent motor mechanics. We charge a flat-rate fee of £35 (retests within 10 days are free of charge) - no extras, no surcharges and no additions.

Brought a car privately in Barnsley…

Brought a car privately in Barnsley that had been mot'd 3 days prior to my purchase by Jumbo Self Drive. Over several weeks I noticed it smoked heavily under acceleration. Took to a garage who stated although the DPF was visible underneath, lack of pressure meant it had to have been decored. It's soot emissions were 3 times over the mot limit and various canbus errors were coming up on diagnostics tests. How on earth this passed an mot, without even an advisory???

Last minute Mot. Excellent

I've had my mondeo mot done at this garage. All I can say is that I will never go anywhere else. Friendly tester who was very honest. No rip offs either as they only test vehicles. I left it to the last few days of the due date, rang them up and he got me in before it ran out. Would recommend anyone especially women like myself to take your cars there
