Blacks Glasgow store didn’t have the product I wanted but Molly rang around Glasgow to find it in another store. She found a similar product in Millets and asked them to put it aside for me WHILE she carried on trying to find my original choice. When she did find it in Tifo she then negotiated me a significant discount in their price to match the Blacks price. She was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She’s a star.

Super knowledgable and helpful staff, really appreciated Dan (top floor) and Rachel on our visit today.

Upstairs Dan, what a guy , helped us more than we could of asked, we are going camping today and Dan helped us get all the gear we needed and even packed our bag for us while telling us good places to go in aviemore, never had such helpful service from a store before 10/10

Advised staff that I hated shopping so it needs to be quick and painless. Was in to take advantage of sales and get gift voucher for friend’s birthday. Top-floor Daniel - or should I say top drawer was especially helpful, empathetic and knowledgeable about products on sale, which isn’t always a given.

I visited this store today looking for walking/mountaineering boots, and was served by Daniel K, attentive service and very informative, very kind and helpful service.

These folks are very helpful and happy to sort out stuff online or instore. Some great bargains.

I was looking for a waterproof lightweight coat. The salesman Dan PM,( there are 3 Dan's) patiently explained the pros and cons off several items.we settled on am OEX jacket. I have been to quite a few stores in Glasgow, I was very impressed with this lad and his knowledge. I would definitely be back. When home I checked the reviews for this jacket. I could have bought it for £30 cheaper,but that's the experience of going into a shop,trying on the garment with staff that have knowledge. Thanks.

Big thanks to Daniel on the top floor for his help today, from making sure the items I bought were just what I was looking for, to giving me clear directions to loading bay, and loading my bulky items into my car. Really pleasant and knowledgeable. A credit to your team. This level of service encourages customers to return.

I was served by Molly. She could not have been more pleasant. Apart from being extremely knowledgeable nothing appeared to much trouble. She is a real credit to your business, so much so that I will in future shop first at Blacks. Well done Molly! And well done Blacks.

Dan was incredibly warm and encouraging. We tried on many pairs of shoes and may have tired him out a bit, but he never stopped smiling. His extensive knowledge about hiking shoes was extremely helpful to us. Additionally, he guided us well regarding the differences between various brands and products.
