Policy over people

I forgot it was auto-renewing, so when I got charged I immediately asked them to reverse it and and give me a refund. I know they're within their "rights," but this is the first time a company has ever refused to do that as a courtesy (and I wasn't using the service and trying to get something free). I just didn't have time for Blinkist this year and would have considered renewing in a year or two, but now I'd actively look at Blinkist alternatives (there are a lot). Left a bad taste in my mouth, seemed an unnecessary way to treat a customer rather that saying, "We understand that these things happen, thanks for letting us know right away. We wish you the best and hope to see you back at Blinkist again some day." That kind of goodwill goes a long way, and I wouldn't have even started wondering about alternative platforms.

Dealing well with a concern

A very good product.
I did have a small issue with my subscription and they dealt with the issue extremely quickly. It was delighted with the service and speed of the correction.

They kept removing an automatic annual…

They kept removing an automatic annual subscription from me without prior warning so I had no time to cancel it. It just happened suddenly. When I challenged it they refused to refund it!
I could only talk to an AI bot. Noone else. I have already tried asking customer services and they are just batting me away with apologies.

Back with the amazing app - Blinkist

I was a member when Blinkist first came out. But, let my subscription lapse. I saw an offer today and decided to join again. But, as I came to use it, it didn’t show my membership again. I thought maybe I had been scammed and reached out to your customer service. Initially I was told someone would reach out within 12 hours. I replied and asked if it could be looked at sooner, so i could inform my bank in case it was fraud. I received a response immediately and it my new membership was confirmed. I appreciated the timely help from both Fin and Tobias. And, it’s great to be back. I always feel and sound much more intelligent with Blinkist in my life.

Poor Customer Service

Very positive about the platform had an issue with the billing which was unresolved. It offered me £37.99 for the annual renewal but I was charged £47.99. After requesting the difference was refunded this was refused. After being a customer for a few years I am left disappointed.

Service and product are top notch!

I contacted customer service about my account and they were extremely helpful. Representative Widy offered several solutions on how to rectify my issue and was extremely professional and generous with me. Widy was a great example of how to build customer loyalty through personal service. Great experience.

Customer Service

I had entered the wrong email address on my account, and when I changed my phone, I was unable to transfer the app because I couldn’t verify the change by email. The customer services team responded quickly and were very helpful in resolving the issue.
