Book-a-flat has the most beautiful flats in Paris.

The website is beautiful, the apartments look great but unfortunately no one will help you rent them at this agency! Despite multiple attempts at contact after an initial automated email response from the agency, no one replies to your email. If you try and text or call don't expect a response. And if you somehow magically get through, they will tell you they are 'on an appointment, please send a text' to which they will never respond.

I would be nervous about booking a flat with Book-a-Flat because if they are like this before you have entered into a contract with them, imagine what they are like if there is a problem?!?

I am very happy with the service of Book a flat. Miss Mariana Rosa was very attentive to me, my doubts and needs and was well informed, she helped me a lot with everything I needed. Great service and quick.Couldn't be happier! Recommend it without a doubt!

Every one I talked to in book a flat was very polite and very fast in answering my emails! I felt like they understood what I was looking for and helped me in every possible way.

Great flats but very poor customer service. I want to rent a flat for 2-3 years and they never reply to email and numerous phone calls.

The booking went smoothly and were efficient. Other agencies had not a clue. We were very pleased and love the flat.

We had an excellent communication and support from the staff of book a flat, from the day of booking and arrival. We had some problems with the wifi in the apartment but that was resolved after couple of days

The only problem was that when the owner received the contract to sign, she decided to increase the rent by 150 Euros! I had asked the agency explicitly if I will get the apartment, so that I can ship my personal stuff to Paris. They clearly said yes. I understand this sudden increase in price is not the agency's fault, but since they asked me to present one thousand types of different guarantees, I don't understand why they can't expect some kind of commitment from the owner. I ended up signing the contract, because my stuff were on the way and I didn't have time to look for a new place. But in principle what they did was wrong.

I rented a flat for the summer in Le Marais Paris through book-a-flat . The whole process has been extremely good. Very professional and friendly company. I would highly recommend them, Especially Olga and Mariana

Horrible, slow, confusing and DECEIVING service. Staff spoke very poor English, were not accommodating, and did not respect my wish to visit any of their studios: I had to contact them numerous times to follow up (though their website, e-mail and phone calls). Their explanation for this was that their main agent was on vacation? For three weeks, it was the same person answering their main hotline, and in an unprofessional tone, kept reassuring me that she would refer me to another colleague, but never did. NO REPLY to my follow up emails. Incredibly unprofessional and would not recommend.

It's a pleasure to work with Book A Flat team to rent my apartment. I trust them since almost 6 years to take care of it.
They showed their professionalism to find reliable and serious international tenants so far. They have reactive response when contacted.
I was slightly disappointed recently by quite a "long" period without tenant and with 2 last minute canceled visits.
But the Team finally succeeded to find a reliable and nice tenant !

At first, Book a Flat seems to be a very decent agency. The response times are low, the service is friendly and helpful. The visit of the flat was even possible on short notice. As I also liked the apartment, we went ahead and arranged all the details. As we're foreigners (from Germany) we even agreed on a full prepayment of the rent (five digit number) in August, the month before the start of the rent. This was agreed on by Book a Flat and the owners of the flat. Thus, we went ahead and signed the contract, wired a deposit of a two month rent and the agency fee (one month rent) to Book a Flat. Right after we did that, the agency came back to us, forcing us to immediately pay the full rent. As this was never agreed on and also was not be found anywhere in the contract we signed (we never got a signed contract of the owner back), we rejected. To my surprise, the service of Book a Flat went from good to horrible at this very point. Nobody was available via phone, E-Mails were left unanswered for hours. A day latter, we were offered another unacceptable "compromise", which would have left us paying thousands of Euros without a signed contract. In case we wouldn't accept, we were offered a full refund (obviously) of the agency fee of the deposit. Well, since then, the agency never replied again and went away with the money. A credit card chargeback and a criminal complaint are on the way. For now, I can just recommend every foreigner to stay away. In case anyway wants more information, I'll happily share all E-Mail conversaion I had with Book aFlat.

Great apartment. I paid and the company took forever to get any confirmation from the owner, so over a week after paying I finally got to move into my apartment.

We were very happy to have a service like Book-A-Flat available to us. We cannot comment on the quality of the apartment or the fidelity of its online description because we have not yet arrived in Paris. I will say, though, that the Book-A-Flat online interface was well-designed and very easy to use, and that the supporting personnel were friendly, responsive, and super helpful. The fact that Book-A-Flat exists has made the planning for our Paris visit so much easier than it could have been. I would recommend it!

Wonderful experience.
As a student who had no experience finding an apartment and was not familiar with the process, the staff at Book A Flat were understanding and extremely helpful! They were all very kind and I have no reservations about this company.

I had a very long and tiring experience with them. Bad costumer service, rude and untruthful. They made mistakes and did not take responsibility for them.

I had a good experience with Book a Flat.
However I have few improvement suggestions.
I think it's important that you agency keeps in touch until the tenant has taken posession, I had questions and needed direction but was told 'No deal with landlord' so I was left with the impression that once you received my payment you were no longer interested. I would recommend a better customer PR is to offer a little help which will go a long way to make your agency stand out. Your feed are high so foreign expect a little bit more.
But I did appreciate how prompt the agent was when I was looking for a place.
