The New Brydge Max 11.0 Is Simply Outstanding
Since 2019, Brydge Keyboards have been attached to my iPads and they've ALWAYS been exceptionally well made and perform just like a MacBook does in terms of the typing.
I got the newest iPad Pro M5 for Christmas and Brydge didn't have a keyboard for it, so I bought a much less expensive keyboard, but it just couldn't hold a candle to a Brydge Keyboard. So the moment Brydge opened pre-orders for this brand new Max 11.0, I placed my order instantly.
What you get with this keyboard case is everything Brydge has always been known for, only MUCH more. It's all aluminum in construction, including the Patented SnapFit cover, which your iPad magnetically attaches to. It includes a full row of Function Keys. The key travel is 1.3mm and extremely tactile. The trackpad is all glass, very smooth, responsive and supports Apple iPad Trackpad gestures.
But the star of the show is the degree of angle you can get on this keyboard case. While just about every other keyboard case(including Apple's Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro) has a degree of angle of up to 130 degrees, the Brydge Max 11.0 offers up to 270 degrees. You can angle it to rest just above the trackpad and you can angle it all the way to the back of the keyboard and just about any angle in between. There just isn't any way you couldn't find the perfect angle to suit your needs. It's also extremely stable, ie., it doesn't wobble at all, which just about every other floating cantilever design keyboard does.
Of course, it's backlit, with three levels of brightness. The keys are full size and they just feel great when you're typing, which is after all, the most important consideration when choosing a keyboard. There are rubber pads on the bottom of the keyboard to help it stay in place without slipping. And it only weighs 1.23 LBS for all this magic.
Brydge keyboards have always had long lasting batteries and while I've only had mine a week now, even after a week of typing on it. the battery is at 97%, so I'm sure it will last a long time between charges. Your mileage will vary, depending on how many hours you type a day and whether you have the keys backlit.
This is a new day for Brydge and this is what I'm sure will be the first of many more new keyboards for many of the newest iPad models out there. It's beyond a great first new product, backed by a great company who has been building some of the best iPad keyboards one can get. For me, it's worth every cent and then some!
Quick refund for defective product
We bought a keyboard from them in May, 2025. After a few months, a problem developed (cracked hinges) but they immediately replaced the keyboard. A few months later the same problem arose with the replacement. This model has been discontinued and they did not have another option for us so they immediately gave us a full refund. I think the customer service was great even though the product continued to fail us.
Brydge 12.9 Max+ Keyboard Replacement
In August 2025, I purchased a new Brydge 12.9 Max+ keyboard to pair with my iPad Pro. It replaced an earlier Brydge keyboard. After some use, I noticed that whenever I pressed the 9 key, it also inserted an 8 following the 9. At first, it was mildly annoying. The problem worsened. More recently, the keyboard would insert an endless string of 8s. I had to shut the keyboard off to end this.
In January, I contacted support. This week, I received a replacement keyboard, which is working beautifully. Thank you to the Support Team for your excellent support.
Buyer beware of Brydge Pro Dock…
I paid $381.59 for a Brydge Pro Dock that was obviously opened, used for a LONG time, poorly repackaged, then resold as NEW to me. No one responds to customer service issues at all
Screws loose all the time
I have a bridge keyboard with track bad for my iPad the only issue I have with it is the screws keep coming out of the bottom of the keyboard it is quite irritating. I just use my iPad with keyboard a lot and I find myself having to screw them back in every couple of days. The last keyboard I purchased from bridge was the same thing guess I will try a different one next time.
Preordered a iPad Air 13 keyboard
Preordered a iPad Air 13 keyboard, was supposed to ship by Oct. 21st . Never happened. Seemed like I was getting the run around. Customer service is terrible ! Did receive a refund but I’m sorry I wasted my time with them ! Do not trust Brydge, buyer beware.
My Brydge keyboard never disappoints
When Brydge first came out and was reviewed in a local newspaper, I knew it was made for me! Brydge is the most convenient way for me to communicate on my iPad. I love the ability to use it as a laptop. The new magnetic mounting makes it all the easier to attach/detach the iPad from the casing. The keyboard is wonderful. Anytime there has been any problem, customer support has been most accommodating.I can’t imagine using a different keyboard system.
Three years later…
I’ve had the Brydge dock for about three years and suddenly my monitor started flashing off and on. I bought a new monitor assuming it was fried, only to find the same behavior from the new monitor. I then assumed Brydge must be the problem. After a couple of emails with tech support they suggested replacing the Thunderbolt cable. That was the problem! Solved! So happy that someone on their team could think outside the box! I was also impressed that they offered to sell me a new dock at a discounted price, if this didn’t work. I really felt like they only wanted a happy customer. I’ll buy again just for the service.
Nice piece of equipment
Nice piece of equipment. Keyboard 12.9 Max+
Keep up the good work Brydge.
Great Products, Superb Support Team
I like the product and their support team is superb.
Surface Pro 8 Keyboard Replacement
I purchased a keyboard/case for my Surface Pro 8 and one of the hinges broke. I emailed customer support and they quickly responded with the confirmation that they would be sending a replacement for the keyboard and that they were just as surprised about the failure. No delays or issues qualifying for a replacement. The replacement came in a week or so and is functional and very much appreciated.
I just hope that the new focus of the company doesn't move away from the Surface product as it seems it may be doing... there is a need there for good keyboards for tablet devices and from my observation, there is no other solution in the market for this product other than the keyboards that require the built in kickstand which precludes the device from being used as a true 'lap'top. Having the ability of tablet or laptop is great... hoping this isn't my last keyboard!!!!!!!!
So I bought this product as a pre-order…
So I bought this product as a pre-order in April or May of last year, I think. At the time I had a MB16, but it was too bulky so swapped it out for a MB14 M3, I could not remember if both sleeves had shipped with my order last year. When I subsequently went back to the website, there seemed to be quite a lot of disputation between the backers, owners and new owners of Bridge. I don't care. THE CURRENT SUPPORT TEAM WERE OFF THE CHARTS QUICK TO RESPOND AND ACTIONABLE IN THEIR RESPONSES VS PASSIVE. I now have my new sleeve and could not be happier. I have had the product for over a year and am still impressed with it's reliability and usefulness.
The company cares about their customers
I initially wrote a negative review because I was having trouble with the product and customer service, but I was able to connect with the company and they were so nice! They offered to return the product or send me a brand new one. I'm very happy with my experience with them.
Do not buy a Brydge keyboard
Keyboard was approximately $150. It is heavy. Some charging cords can’t plug in because case is too big around port. So you have to remove your ipad from the case to plug in the cord. Caused my $50 screen protector to crack. Gasket around ipad came loose. Contacted CS even though it is well within warranty was told sorry, Uinta Products — new owners — won’t be honoring the warranty on Brydge products but will give you 30% if you want to BUY another one. Crazy, right?
Defunct company, you won't find support
Company is now defunct. I can't get product repaired, and the product protection I purchased won't cover the manufacturers defect (how would they even get parts to replace it even if they did?)
DO NOT BUY Brydge products-NO Customer Support & bad design
Poor design of product and no one will answer emails. I purchased the 10.2 Max and the hinges started cracking after about 6 months. One finally broke completely and second one is cracked. NO ONE WILL ANSWER support email. You may get initial "acknowledgement" like I did....3 weeks ago but nothing since. I have sent 3 emails..........
I purchased a Stone Pro TB4 from Brydge…
I purchased a Stone Pro TB4 from Brydge June of 2022 and within 60 days it failed. After numerous emails back and forth of promises to replace unit it is now May 2023 and they have gone dark and it looks like they are now bankrupt and have midnight moved from their offices in Park City, UT. Stay away from this company!
If you have an outstanding order, dispute with your credit card NOW
I ordered the Brydge ProDock ($399) on January 17th, expecting it to ship by the end of the month. I'm a returning customer, and I love the other Brydge products I have, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I received no communications. No emails saying it was delayed, nothing. I contacted support several times - no response. They completely ghosted me. After 3 months of waiting for any sign of life, I filed a dispute with Amex and got a refund. If you have an outstanding order with Brydge, I suggest you do the same.
Brydge is defunct, don't ever expect support.
My Brydge Air Max + keyboard has dead keys and won't connect via bluetooth to my iPad. Their support is non-existent and their phone number has been disconnected. To add to that their support page is 404. Stay away from this scam of a company!
From ordering to returning and zero…
From ordering to returning and zero customer support. Still waiting for my refund two months after mailing with certified mail
I hate this lousy company
