Never buy a vehicle from these…
Never buy a vehicle from these scammers. I recently purchased a vehicle from them and the car has so many mechanical issues that it clearly should never have been sold in the condition it was. Shortly after the purchase, I discovered multiple faults that made it obvious the vehicle was not properly inspected.
What is even more concerning is that the service documents they provided are questionable as they do not reflect the current condition of the car. This has been proved by the health check and diagnostics I ran on the car after purchase. Given the condition of the vehicle, it should never have passed an MOT in the first place. When I contacted the dealership to resolve the issue and requested a return, they refused to take responsibility or offer a fair solution.
Their refusal to address the situation has left me with no choice but to begin legal proceedings. I strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle from this dealership to be extremely cautious. Based on my experience, you risk serious financial and legal trouble. Stay away from them — you will regret it otherwise.

An absolute Nightmare
Yesterday i arrived to collect my wife's 2019 Jaguar E-pace from BVG Automotive. I arrived just before 1pm, for which i had an appointment booked. The staff were busy on their phones and not eager to assist, unitl i asked what the problem was. The manager then came out steaming... at this point i thought 'dont go ahead', but i stupidly carried on. I couldn't really test drive the car because of the influx to the local mosque, so after we arrived back at the forecourt, i asked to see proof of the service supposedly done 2 days ago. The salesman informed me that they don't have the receipt for the last service because they recieve all receipt on Fridays and so they will send out to me via email. I thought this was rather strange but again i was bursting with excitement, so i carried on.
We finished the exchange (as i also had my wife's Mini to PX) but as i drove off, the engine management light came on. I called BVG Automotive again to inform them of this and returned to the garage but this time it was blatantly obvious that they didn't care. They tried to convince me to buy other cars 'since we already have the finance' or to leave the car with them for 2 weeks to be fixed. I declined to accept these and asked that they cancel the purchase.
The manager, Rob (if that's his real name) approached me aggressively with two other male workers... he was threatening towards me verbally and otherwise, in fear for my life, i stepped outside the premises and called the police.
Police did arrive but they were more interested in moving me along even before i was able to re-taxed my car.
BVG Automotive still haven't undone the finance but i was able get her Mini back, as i live in Shropshire.
These guys are professional scammers. They all work together, including the people hanging around that look like customers.

I’m glad you’ve posted this because it gives us the opportunity to explain what actually happened yesterday. Frankly the team is traumatised by the events that unfolded.
In over 15 years working in the motor trade, today was by far the most intimidated and threatened I have ever felt in my workplace, and my colleagues felt the same. It was the first time in my career that someone has come into our place of work making threats about beating staff up, knocking people out and even blowing the place up. We come to work simply to earn a living in a safe environment, and no amount of money is worth the level of abuse and intimidation our team experienced from you yesterday.
You arrived at our dealership at around 1pm and stormed into the showroom visibly frustrated and demanding to see someone immediately. You were already annoyed because you struggled to find parking outside as we are situated near a Mosque, and it gets congested between 1-2pm on Fridays due to Friday Prayers.
A member of staff apologised and politely asked if you could wait while the sales manager was called. Instead, you began swearing and verbally abusing the staff. Other customers in the showroom later said they felt uncomfortable as you were a fairly big man and due to the way you entered and raised your voice. You were shouting "Oii you, come here now" to some of the younger staff, and kept alleging because you are a black man, you're being treated like garbage as some of the staff tried to avoid interacting with you due to being frightened.
Our Sales Manager, Shah, came out to assist and attempted to calm the situation. From the moment he approached you, you rushed him repeatedly saying you did not want to sit down or go through the normal process and simply wanted the keys so you could leave as the car was for your wife and you “didn’t have time”.
Shah explained that we must first inspect the PX and complete paperwork. Upon inspecting your partners Mini Cooper PX, several issues were found with oil leaks and unusual engine noises. Despite this, Shah hesitantly honoured the previously discussed £2,000 valuation after you raised your voice saying you would be “really annoyed” if the offer changed.
Around a mile after leaving, engine light came on, Shah immediately apologised and asked you to return so we could investigate. When you came back we connected the car to our diagnostic machine and a fault relating to the timing chain system appeared.
We explained that the safest option was to keep the vehicle with us to repair the issue, as driving it could cause serious engine damage. We offered for you to take the Mini Cooper temporarily and have the repaired car delivered once fixed.
You refused this option, saying your own mechanic could fix it cheaply. At this point the situation escalated significantly. You began swearing, directing abuse towards staff and making threats about harming people. You were also smoking outside the showroom and when politely asked not to as staff were fasting for Ramadan, you said you did not care.
Due to the aggression and threats being made, we had no option but to contact the police. Officers attended and spent close to an hour calming the situation, explaining the vehicle issue was civil but threatening staff could be a public order offence. You lied and told the police that because you were a black man you felt we could get you arrested somehow, you mentioned the black lives matter and George Floyd movement, which was completely bizarre.
