No support for Renters…

I used to really love using By Rotation until I experienced how they completely take the lenders side and not the renter! I posted back an item next day delivery with sender details marked and the lender claims to have never recieved yet I’ve never recieved back and Royal Mail don’t have traces of it not being delivered! By rotation then requested the Full new RRP for the dress which was really worn and certainly not new and of that value!!! Ridiculous, there was no support for the renter it was all pay it or you will have debit collection action!! Appalling service

I had a horrible experience with the company itself. They communicate poorly with customers. I got the item I rented two days after my rent started because they mailed it to me only hours before the initial day. When I complained about it, they blamed the post office. They don't send you messages, and they don't take responsibility. If you rent from a third person, you will be fine, but be aware of ByRotation itself.

Beware lenders

I have just lent my dress to a lovely user, who left me a very nice review and sent the dress back in good condition. Note to lenders-to withdraw your funds your balance should be above £30. I did not realise this and was slightly disappointed at first after lending my dress that I was unable to withdraw. However, the customer service team were quick to act on my complaint and processed a manual pay-out for me at my request :)

Do not rent your items on here!!!

Do not rent your items on here, unless you're prepared for them to be damaged with no support or compensation!

I rented my Celine ski goggles on here which were returned with deep scratches and studs missing, I reported the issue to the customer service team which were completely incompetent. The communication was back and forth for 6 weeks where I provided multiple images and evidence for the customer service team to insist that the damage was caused by Royal Mail and I should contact them.....

Really poor service and by rotation do not abide by their renters guidelines or terms and conditions.

Very useful for trying on!

Team were very helpful and stick with me until we found a dress just right for the occasion - didn’t realise there was more stock upstairs or you can search for pop-up items @ByRo so be good to have this somewhere on the app!

Excellent

Last week I went to the By Rotation pop up in Mayfair and I loved the experience so much 💕 What truly stood out for me was the incredible selection of accessories. From chic handbags to statement jewelry, the variety was exceptional! It was so much fun being able to see and try on pieces in person, and the quality was just as impressive as the photos on the app. Definitely recommend 😊

Think twice about renting your items on here! By rotation does not have insurance for items as they are a third party so if they are stolen the only option is to file a police report...

Always make sure they have reviews before renting to them. I have now taken all my items off the app and will not be renting.

Stolen items and zero support from ByRotation

Horrible experience. Be warned: they do not insure any of your listed items!
My very first rental to someone was stolen (£360 dress). The user was being flaky in messages and then just never returned my dress. By Rotation barely did anything but try to charge the person for the dress (obviously the persons card was no longer connected to the account) and told me to file a police report and that there was no insurance through them.
ByRotation also kicked the person off the app two days after they rented from me due to having ‘other issues’ with the user which were known by ByRotation but they still let the user rent my dress.
I will be removing all my items from the app, be careful renters!

Never received any of my refunds!

I needed a dress for an event and tried to place a rental request for two different dresses. Neither responded in time but the company took my money for both requests. After attempting to contact them on Instagram and email to sort it out, they have failed to refund me the money. I am £60 out of pocket. Avoid at all costs.
