First of all, there was a delay. I called.. a personnel at the shop explains to me well what caused the delay (one of the items was apparently not in stock)... Finally I have got my order within a week. That's ok.

What I dislike is that the brand new B+W filter I've just got has a fingerprint dirt on it already :( and the plastic on the edge of the filter has small scratch already. It seems to me that this expensive filter (MRC xs pro) has been used or put on a lens before. I am pissed because I paid the price for a brand new product not a show model.

In short, good service but I cannot trust the products from this shop anymore.. so I will not order from the shop anymore and I will not recommend the shop to anyone I know.

I became introduced to CameraTools by a fellow dutch photographer who praised the shop and the exceptional assortment of equipment available.
Many of their offerings were hardly available in Germany or only at considerably higher cost. For instance products from LumoPro, Westcott, Kirk to name just a few are difficult to find even in german online shops. CameraTools to the rescue!
So far I placed several online orders and visited the shop in Apeldoorn several times and I cannot report anything but good shopping experience alltogether. In particular I am deeply impressed by the quiet friendly atmosphere in the shop. Very helpful skilled personnel gives advice and allows testing equipment without creating the slightest feeling of oppression. I can take as much time as I need for decision taking. And, on top of that, most offerings come at a very competitive price. I really am a happy client of CameraTools Apeldoorn.

I ordered 2x LumoPro LP605 5-section Stand plus WestCott 2011 109cm Optical White Satin Collapsible Umbrella w/ Removable Black Cover to take with me on my travels abroad. I'm very pleased about the size of stands and umbrella, be it collapsed or fully extended. The stands are not as sturdy (a bit wobbly) compared to my studio stands, but that is as could be expected. Good craftsmanship.
What I really appreciate is the care with which the goods were packed and the speed at which they were shipped. All in all very happy with this purchase.

Hello, I was very happy to receive the material in three day from the order. Considering I am in Italy this is a fast expedition. I ordered a studio flash kit that was not in the stock so I thought it will take some weeks to arrive. When I get the material I found that Camera Tools decided to ship the more basic set that was in the stock plus a soft-box that was in the setup I hav chosen. At the end I get an extra unbrella for free!

This a trustworthy company

I did had a small issue with the orders - a product code mismatch in the database so basically I have paid for a non-existing product. But this was a technical issue -from a support point of view was excellent: I was promptly informed by phone and I had the full cooperation of the guys back there. Thank you again.

Whereas many companies give you a difficult time about return policies and are slow to ship, CameraTools is a top-notch service provider. It gives excellent products at competitive prices, and if there is any issue, they work hard to make it right immediately!
