I’ve had a Cancard for years. I’ve got a legal prescription so I don’t actually need it, but it’s handy to keep on me when I’m out medicating—just an extra bit of backup. The process for renewing is straightforward and quick.

Their mission statement sounds great, concept outstanding but in practice very much the opposite, great if you don’t require assistance, advice or questions,
They surely have regulations to stand to but not even a complaint option and emails ignored….. Carly has outdone herself I must say.

Service has been awful yes I am a bit of a technophobe who had a problem sending the right information however I still haven’t got my card. I still cannot access my online account. It just tells me that it’s successful and they’ll let me know when it’s ready, haven’t got my solid card yet still waiting 2 1/2 weeks l later. I have now got my card and they have sorted my online account.

No way to contact them(phones numbers not manned and the emails go unanswered) still wating on actual card to be sent out.

The whole process is very straightforward and is very useful to have. Can't fault it. Just hope Cancard can have all constabulary trained up on medical cannabis

cancard have been great help recently getting me accepted for a visible and virtual card while awaiting the visual card in the post. cancard are a great help and i would recommend it if it’s necessary to your health conditions i strongly advise cancard and the process was simple quick and easy. thanks guys for the help.

When renewing my card I forgot to update my address. I contacted support when I realised and they sorted it out within the hour

Was told id have access to the digital card within 24 hours as I was approved its bean 8 days still no access to my digital card

I have had one for many years. I am a medical cannabis patient and although I do not legally need a cancard as I have a legal prescription for my medical cannabis, it's always handy to have in my wallet when I am medicating out and about. It's an extra safety measure as many police officers are still ignorant to the law update back in 2018

I applied for the cancard and it was approved pretty much straight away.
Providing the right medical evidence.

I use medical cannabis for chronic pain conditions & unable to afford a expensive private prescription. After trying many harmful pharmaceuticals cannabis has been much more beneficial. I had an orginal cancard & I'm waiting for my new one to arrive, although I've not needed to present my card yet it has reduced my anxiety when I have cannabis on me or need to use public to show I have a medical condition & it's also helpful to show people if they are uneducated on the use of medical cannabis, it also helps to not waste police time & resources.
The process is easy to follow and its great to have the live app on the go that is connected to your profile which you can access if needed and also becomes active while you wait for your card. You'll need your nhs number and supporting medical evidence but the Cancard customer service were great & helped with any questions I had and were promt to reply. Great invention and £29 for a year membership is worth the peace of mind.
