Received an online valuation, which I was happy with. Went along to the store (Nottingham) ready for its 11 am opening on Sunday as per the website advertised hours to sell my item. The store was not open. Waited until 11.30 and gave up. During that time, there were 5 other people waiting who were clearly looking to buy some items. They gave up and left also. Cash Converters needs to employ reliable and trust worthy staff, who will open up on time without management breathing down their necks. One store in Nottingham has already closed. I wonder if this will be one of the next businesses to fold blaming economic downturn or Covid 19?

I have used the NOTTINGHAM branch a couple of times now and they are AMAZING. Martyn in particular has the best customer service skills you could ask for. He and the others there are always approachable, professional and more than willing to help. If you are looking for something lovely - please give them a go .... I thoroughly and without hesitation ... would RECOMMEND them.

I've bought several expensive items from different branches around the country. Without exception the individuals I've dealt with (eg Scott at Barnsley) have been very helpful. My items have been perfect, bar one, and that was returned and refunded without a quibble. BUT - the website is creaky, the paying process, for example, is quirky and you need to know how to work around the crashes that occur. The account history is limited (eg no details of the branch that something was bought from are recorded) and there is no easy route to review the purchase experience.

So, even when it's positive - as for me - you have to go looking for CC on Trust Pilot, or elsewhere, which doesn't encourage even satisfied customers to leave a review. But for the website this would have been a 5* review.

I wen into your branch in barking a few weeks ago and pawned in a laptop. I was looking for about 70 pounds but the guy said he could only give me 40 pounds, then he reduced to 30 pounds and then to 20 pounds. He gave me 20 pounds but then he gave me receipt as if he had given me 40 pounds for the laptop, which I have only just realized as I was looking to get it back.

The manager clearly defrauded me and it seems like he has back pocketed the money. I am now going to take it forward with the trading standards and see if cash converters can be taken to court legally as it seems like you will possibly be doing this with others.

The money is not the issue, its the principle of the matter how the manager hood winked me and I never checked the recipet.

I have already given a couple of reveiews and I will make it a point to do this every week and I will tell others to do the same.

Your overall service as a company stinks as I addressed another issue with your so called area manager and I was told she needs retraining. Retraining for what, on how not to disriminate against people and not to lie and not to try and defraud customers. That is basic common sense.

The Hull store is abysmal. Management are useless policy spouters who have very little idea about what the law is. GDPR is a joke there as you can see people's profiles on computers while you queue to sell things. Staff come and go in the blink of an eye and the ones that stay look dead inside. It was rocked by an employee stealing customers jewellery to feed a gambling habit! Drug addicts smoke Spice right outside the shop! Products are shonky, 3 laptop replacements! Before I got a working one. Staff also seem to be trained to push for sales at any cost and if you are a lost cause they'll just be rude and move on the the next mug! A toxic place to go into and I hope I never have to go in there every again. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!

Visited longton branch today and Brad was helpful and sorted me out with what I needed. To be honest I like most of the staff here. If they are not too busy with customers they will always have a quick chat with you. In general good customer service nice staff apart from once (cough).

Bought a few bits and pieces from the Fulham store. Chloe and Sherilyn were very helpful and customer friendly. They did not ask me to write this review, I wrote it on merit and actual purchases.
I would whole heartedly recommend Fulham as a place where you will be treated fairly.

The website however is another story. Not only is it very slow, the search functions are c**p. It would seem looking at previous comments spanning over 2 years, Cash Converters have totally ignored what their customers are saying about the shortcomings of their website.

All these B********t comments made by Janet, Tracey and Carol etc..about it is being fed back to the developers is a load of tosh.

To improve the functionality of the website would cost money and CC like to make money not spend it.

First time using Cashconverters and popped in to the Hounslow branch to have a look at rings. Great service by their salesperson, Atta, who not only helped us view prospective purchases, but also gave us an insight into the aspects underlying purchasing decisions for such items. Never felt pressured or misled in any way, but came away a lot more informed and certainly very happy with our purchase. Would certainly use them again, specifically the Hounslow branch and the member of staff mentioned - Atta.

He was patient, took his time with me, answered all my questions, knowledgeable of the item I bought, explained the guarantee and if any problems how they would be resolved as I am not local to the shop.

Have shopped there in the past and would definitely go in when up in Dundee again

I went to the Liscard store with my little boy boy and the staff could not of been more helpful. I wasn’t able to get a wii game for my son there but the lady looked in the back for me and found the game i wanted I’m very grateful to them as it made my boys day thanks againxx

You get a good and fair price for products you sell.

There's always good stock bought, so dont try selling them rubbish. lol

If you have an issue with a product bought, they will rectify, replace or refund.

Honestly cant fault them, 10/10 for service and satisfaction.

Store where the guy who dealt with us was really professional and very friendly, signed us up and the transaction was done in minutes and he encouraged us to fetch any other items we wanted to sell into the store made us feel valued and at ease I would definitely recommend the Rotherham store to

Had a first time experience in cashconvertes in Luton. Stuart and Lori were marvelous, they even got me a chair so I could rest while they done my transaction. I felt like a very valued customer and feel I got a very good deal. I would definitely go back there again
