I had a very disappointing experience with CheapoAir. My ticket was issued with the wrong travel dates, and despite purchasing cancellation insurance, I was given misleading advice that ended up costing me money. Instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told to cancel my ticket and rely on insurance, only to later find out that wasn't the correct process and my airline credit had significant restrictions. Customer service was frustrating, and I felt misled throughout the entire experience. I would be very cautious about booking through CheapoAir.

I will never book through CheapOAir again.
My mother purchased two tickets to Cancun over six months in advance (January 9) so we could plan our vacation early. Instead of honoring the booking, CheapOAir changed our itinerary in February, changed it again in March, and then completely canceled it in May 13, just one month before our trip.
Because of their cancellation, we had to purchase new tickets at significantly higher prices to avoid losing our vacation.
The airline confirmed that our refund had been approved and processed on May 13. CheapOAir later acknowledged receiving the refund around May 29, yet they told us we now have to wait up to 60 BUSINESS DAYS before they return OUR money.
That means they are holding thousands of dollars that don't belong to them after the airline has already released the funds.
Over the past several months I've called customer service multiple times every month. Every representative gives the same scripted answers, no one takes ownership, and no one can explain why they need to hold customer funds for months after receiving them.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. A company should not be allowed to cancel a customer's trip, force them to spend more money on replacement flights, and then keep the refund for months.
I have now filed complaints with the U.S. Department of Transportation, the New York Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau.
Save yourself the stress. Book directly with the airline. The small amount you might save through CheapOAir is not worth the risk of months of frustration if anything goes wrong.
Now read their response, LOL the lack of professionalism of this company is appalling.

Terrible communication issues, no human available to chat (only bots which try to upsell everything).
>No proper confirmation of booking after paying.

I had paid with Paypal only to get a payment verification request that required me to enter cc details! Why??? I paid already with Paypal funds....all confirmed, nullifying any need for credit card.
Escalated to a claim on Paypal, who were pretty useless too...(same issue, AI agents handling the claim).
Finally cancelled the booking but had to pay over $200 in cancellation fees.
Booked with a PROPER agent instead who sent everything, all above board within 12 hours of booking. At least I know I wont be stranded at without a proper ticket!
Conclusion: Sure, it may be cheap, but if you want peace of mind and confidence you actually have a ticket properly booked, don't use CheapOair!
Still waiting for the refund of my Paypal payment BTW!
You live and learn. Won't be using CheapOair ever again.

Spent a couple of hours looking for flight loging in and give my personal details and credit card.
When I went to payment the credit card was rejected so I phone the company and they said the reason why your card was rejected was the price of the flight has increased, when I ask by how much I couldn't believe the audacity it was doubled, YES DOUBLED !

Is the book but annoying phone calls after where you’re booking trying to sell you more stuff than what you booked for. But maybe that’s good for other people that may have forgot something and don’t have travel plans worked out.
